Wrestling update

Well, atm I have no new entertainment news as I am yet to find something that truley captures my attention so this blog will be about wrestling. Now I realize that in my last entry I talked about the WWE scrambles and my picks for them. I will now write down the results....
(The ones in bold are the winners)

Smackdown

• Triple H (WWE Champion) vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin (US Champion) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. The Brian Kendrick

RAW

• CM Punk (World Heavyweight Champion) was unable to participate in the match due to being attacked backstage and so Chris Jericho took his place
• Chris Jericho vs. JBL vs. Batista vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane

ECW

• Mark Henry (ECW Champion) vs. The Miz vs. Finlay vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy

Those were the results from Unforgiven, the last pay-per-view and up on the official WWE website it has some of the matches for No Mercy, the next pay-per-view.

Some of the matches are as follows....

• World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho

To be quite honest, I think that Jericho will retain. I don't think Shawn will get the championship. Another idea just popped into my head though. CM Punk may return just after the match and get his championship re-match as all former champions do. There's a thought.

• WWE Championship match between Triple H (c) and Jeff Hardy

As much as I would like to say that Jeff will win, I have a feeling that he won't. I would love for him to win, don't get me wrong but I believe that Triple H will find some way to retain his title as he has done against Jeff on all occassions that they have fought.

• ECW Championship match between Matt Hardy (c) and Mark Henry

I think that Matt will retain purely on the basis of that I believe that Mark has had his push and now is Matt's time to shine. The Hardy boys to me are being played down and I believe that creatively they could be so much more then what they are. I really do. But this match I think will be won by Matt.

• Number 1 Contendership match between JBL and Batista

In this match I think Batista will come out on top. I think that because JBL hasnt really been getting much of a push and I think that the WWE team would all like to see Batista at the top once again.

• Womens Championship match between Beth Phoenix and Candice Michelle

My feelings are telling me that Beth will retain. I believe that if they don't break up the 'Glamorella' team now then there will be no way that Beth will lose it. Not to me anyway.

Anyway, thats all I can say atm until I find something that can be worthy of me writing it down but until then, Adios Amigos!
