Well, it is 3 days to go to Backlash, the next big pay-per-view of the year and there are some quite interesting matches that seem to be taking place....Here they are....
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy-I Quit Match
I think that, again, like Wrestlemania, as much as I would like to see Jeff win, I think that Matt will win. I think that, from what I have seen and heard, Matt has built enough momentum in this storyline. Mind you, if the recent rumors are true, then maybe, just maybe, Jeff will win. But I think I will stick with Matt for now.
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. Edge-Last Man Standing
Considering what John Cena has been through throughout his career and the fact that he has been in a few Last Man Standing matches, I think that John Cena will retain the title. I'm not sure exactly what will happen to the storyline for Cena and Edge but I think Cena will retain.
ECW Champion Jack Swagger vs. Christian
This one is very difficult because I have two very differing opinions about these two competitors. I think I will have to go with my heart and say Christian. Personally, I think, with what I have heard about Jack Swagger and some of the stuff happening backstage, I think that Christian will walk out of Backlash the ECW Champion.
WWE Champion Triple H, Batista & Shane McMahon vs. Randy Orton & The Legacy
I think that Triple H/Batista/Shane will win this match. Only because I have heard things and although I'm not too sure about whether what I have heard is correct or not, I would like to think that "The Family" with the help of Batista will win and take down The Legacy and Orton.
Chris Jericho vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
This match just seems a little weird. I don't like the idea of some past wrestlers going at it with some of the better talent in WWE. Which leads me to say that I think that Chris Jericho will win.
CM Punk vs. Kane
I haven't really kept up-to-date on the rivalry between these two. All I know is that Kane has it in for CM Punk because of the fact that Punk won Money in The Bank at Wrestlemania after defeating Kane on the ladder.....So, with what I know of these two in mind, I think that CM will win. I may get it wrong but at least I can say that I had a go at guessing it.
At this point in time, the Women's Championship or the Diva's Championship are not being defended at Backlash but in three days, you can never tell. This is after all, WWE.
For now, that is all.
