Just thought that I would give you some TNA gossip today to read.
First things first....
Awesome Kong has reportedly been suspended for missing the UK tour recently. She has had a little heat the last few weeks because of her altercation with Bubba The Love Sponge and her dispute with the payment of wrestlers in TNA.
Kevin Nash is reportedly unhappy with the name "The Band" that has been bestowed upon himself, Scott Hall and Syxx-Pacc. Nash feels that the name is particularly outdated as it refers to the Blues Brother's joke about putting 'the band back together'.
LOL for Kevin Nash. I think that this is really kind of funny. There has been gossip how he doesn't want to be left accountable for Scott and Syxx Pacc but when he has been associated with those two for so many years it's kind of why he has this particular moniker right now. Big LOL for him.
Hulk Hogan is reportedly upset (REALLY!) about being pushed into pushing the TNA Originals that he doesn't think are worth it. Dixie Carter would like Hogan to help push some of the originals and not overpower the company with 'Hogans buddies' but Hogan feels that some are not worth keeping around. He is however a big fan of Abyss and Tomko because, to him, they look like wrestlers.
WHAT THE HELL ARE WRESTLERS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE!?!?!?!?!?!?! This just seems silly to me. Hogan keeps bringing in old faces and people that he thinks are as good now as they were back in their heyday (cough *Ric Flair* cough) but thinks that some of the originals aren't good enough. I would like to know who these originals are that he doesn't like. It'd be interesting to see what he thinks.
Lastly but not least, TNA has sent out a press release saying that there will be a major announcement on Monday afternoon before Impact. Some speculate that it's going to be the announcement that Impact will be moving to Monday nights permanently between 9-11pm EST. It will depend on numbers in the first few weeks with the idea that they will possibly get between 1.2-1.5.
