Excitement from RAW today

Hello there everyone,
RAW this week was…well…. it was better then Extreme Rules yesterday, lets put it that way. Some exciting news from today….

  • Eve FIRED THE BELLA TWINS!
After an extremely quick triple threat match that involved both the Bella’s and Layla, the twins were arguing backstage when Eve informed them that since their contracts were expiring soon, they were both ‘future endeavoured’……
  • Brock vs. Triple H storyline
At the beginning of the show, Brock Lesnar came out with John Laurinaitus and was talking about his match yesterday at Extreme Rules against John Cena. Triple H came down to the ring and took away Brock’s special privileges such as his limo and jet. Johnny Ace was trying to tell Triple H to give them all back but he didn’t and in fact, Triple H tore Lesnar’s contract up right in the ring.
Brock therefore turned around and put Triple H in a Kimora lock and the announcers played it as though Brock had broken Triple H’s arm. Big Show, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Sheamus and Little Jimmy came down to stop the onslaught. Brock then left, albeit a little disgruntled.
  • Eve announced that there was going to be a ‘Beat The Clock’ challenge and the winner would go on to be the new #1 contender to CM Punk’s WWE Championship.
    The matches were..
-The Miz def. Santino Marella in 4:18 min
-Jericho def. Big Show but was not able to beat the Miz’s time
-Randy Orton def. Jack Swagger in 4:16 min
-Kane vs. Khali ended in a No Contest
-Daniel Bryan def. Jerry “The King” Lawler and beat the Miz’s time. Daniel Bryan is now the new #1 Contender.
  • New Tag Team Champions
Kofi Kingston and R-Truth def. Primo and Epico to be crowned the new Tag champs….
  • John Cena vs. John Laurinaitus was made for Over The Limit by the main man himself, Johnny Ace!

Well, that makes things alot better. The Bella’s are no longer there……there are new tag champs and hopefully Laurinaitus get’s his a** whooped by John Cena at Over The Limit. I don’t however like the fact that Daniel Bryan is the new #1 contender. It just doesn’t sit well with me. I don’t think he is ready for that championship and I’d rather he go back to his United States Championship contentions. That would’ve made me much better.

Anyway, that is all for now.

Take care.

More on Vince and TNA

Hi there once again everyone,
As I posted yesterday in Vince Gone, Vince Russo has been let go by TNA. Dixie Carter tweeted/facebooked yesterday about the news which apparently is the first time that many within the company knew about it.
Dave Lagana is set to take Russo's position and many feel as though Dave is the reason that Vince was let go. Dave was originally brought in for TNA's new India project 'Ra Ka King' and has gradually gotten more and more responsibility backstage.
Here are some more facts that have come out today.......
  • Vince Russo was working with Matt Conway writing the show scripts, and then these were passed on to Bruce Prichard and Eric Bischoff for final decisions and approval.
  • Vince was considered a close confidante of Dixie Carter
  • Was the one many blamed when TNA had bad times
Should be interesting to see how the show fairs without Vince's writing skills. I'm hoping it can only get better and I'm hoping that TNA recognizes where it goes wrong and what they can do to improve the situation....

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Till next time,
Ta Ta,
Lil :D

Who got fired????

Hi there,

As per the stipulation of the Jeff Jarrett vs. Jeff Hardy match @ Final Resolution this past week, one of the Jarrett’s got fired.

……Actually……

THEY BOTH GOT FIRED!!!!!!!!!!

WOO WOO WOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the best piece of news that has come out of this week. I couldn’t wait to see who would get the chop out of the two, although I was rather hoping for Karen to go and what happens…..THEY BOTH GOT IT!!!!!! AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,

Maryse update

Hi there once again everyone,

In my post ‘Maryse’ I said that she had been released from WWE.
Well, on November 29, Maryse did an article for SLAM! Wrestling in which she discussed her time with WWE, events in WWE and her release.

She says that she enjoyed her time in WWE and that she loved being a heel character.

“The persona I played was 100% my creation. I told WWE creative that I wanted to be a heel. I was always a babyface in developmental, but I’m a great actress.
I can make you believe whatever I want you to believe, that’s what I told them when pitching the character, I loved my heel persona.”

She talks about her release from WWE which occurred while she was recovering from surgery for an abdominal hernia on October 28th.
She says that she had been looking to get out of WWE for some time and that she was ready for a new challenge.

“I knew in my heart that I wanted to leave WWE for a long time. I’m a business woman. I need to build and grow and I didn’t have any interest in the WWE anymore. I was like, next!”

She says that she has some stuff lined up outside of wrestling including a clothing and jewellery selection which is called ‘House of Maryse’ which will be launching in the Summer of 2012.
She also wants to be performing on the big screen as well as some modelling.

I’m happy that she has realized that she wants more outside of wrestling. She doesn’t want to end up like Flair and Hogan who are still wrestling well past their prime. I’m so happy for her now that I read the article. I wish her all the best in her future endeavours as such Smile with tongue out I hope that she does and accomplishes all she wants to do.

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Firings in WWE

Hello there fellow readers,
Just some news that I have only just found about this morning (after the thunderstorms of last night *yawn* so tired....)

Maria, Shane Helms (Hurricane) and Paul Burchill have all been released.

Now, Shane Helms firing really is apparently no surprise after what happened with him and Chris Jericho earlier on this year (click here if you didn't know about the incident) but Paul Burchill and Maria....strange. I'm sure more will come from this eventually.

Until next time fellow internet users,
You know you love me xoxo
