The Hardy Boyz

Well hello there everyone,
I thought that I would take this oppurtunity to talk about the current situation with Matt and Jeff Hardy. Starting with the older brother Matt.
Matt was released from WWE not long ago. Apparently, 2 months before his release he had asked for it but WWE had refused him. The rumour going round is that this was supposed to help lure Jeff back to WWE where he is much more of a "popular" star. This was not the case and when Matt Hardy showed a video online of an "un-masked" Rey Mysterio, he was promptly released. Showing Rey Mysterio unmasked is a big no no in the world of wrestling and so Matt doing this was seen as a big black mark against his name and so he was released.

Jeff Hardy on the other hand, has been given some really good hands of luck as of late. Earlier this year, it was announced that Jeff Hardy and his partner Beth are expecting their first child together. Congrats to Jeff and Beth on this absolutly fabulous news.
Also, at Bound For Glory this year, Jeff Hardy finally won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship which had been vacant due to Abyss taking out the then champion RVD earlier this year. Jeff also has turned heel (bad for those who don't know) and is now included in one of the biggest storylines in TNA where he has joined forces with Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan to form "Immortal". These men have also joined forces with another stable in TNA, "Fortune" consisting of Beer Money (James Storm and Robert Roode), Douglas Williams, Kazarian, AJ Styles and Ric Flair. Together, these men want to take over TNA and have in "kayfab" taken the company from Dixie Carter, the president of TNA and they now own it and everyone in it. It should be interesting to see how this one pans out and I hope that the TNA creative people treat this a bit better then what they did with the "Main Event Mafia" days. Bad. or worse still, "World Elite". Strange really. But this is good for Jeff and top this with he hasn't had anymore brush ins with the law and he must be feeling on top of the world. Congrats to Jeff for all the good luck he's having.
