As I have mentioned in previous blogs, Alistair Overeem was dropped from UFC 146 due to failing a drug test. He had a hearing today and now is out for at least nine months, which is a bit of a blow. What I don't understand is how someone in his position, who knew the drug test conditions, would not check, double check or even triple check what was in his medications and/or why the doctor gave him. Mind you, the doctor should've known better as well. He would've known, the same as Overeem, what the drug policy was and what was and wasn't legal. :(
Such a waste of talent really.
