Randy Orton update

Hello there everyone,
As you are all aware, Randy Orton is currently serving 60 days suspension to his failure of the WWE Wellness Policy. Well, the formal reason has been revealed. Here is what Ryan Clark had to say…

“We can now confirm that Randy Orton's second violation of WWE's Talent Wellness Program stems from a positive drug test for elevated levels of testosterone. He was telling people that he took a tainted supplement containing the testosterone, causing him to fail. Orton reportedly said he didn't do it on purpose but acknowledged that he should have been more careful.”

There are alot of rumours going around the internet though of the fact that Mr McMahon is LIVID with Randy and is considering not bringing him back.

“There is a 'small, vocal pocket' within the sports entertainment organization lobbying for Orton's termination. Those opposing his return feel his lucrative ten-year contract—signed in January 2010—can no longer be justified if he is brought back in a mid-level role. His second suspension hinders WWE from continuing to feature Orton in headline role since a third drug-testing policy infraction would result in automatic termination, or, as some have stated, a "one-year suspension."
In another potential factor, there is concern over the physical state of Orton, who has incurred numerous injuries over his twelve-year career. Some officials believe his body is breaking down and there are questions regarding the state of his neck and spine.”

Honestly, I don’t think that Vince McMahon would let Randy go. He’s too much a main eventer and a MONEY MAKER that Vince would see that letting him go would be bad thing for business. If Randy gets let go because of injuries and stuff like that then I would understand more but this wasn’t caused by of his injuries. It was caused by a supplement that Randy himself has said that he should’ve checked just to make sure. It reminds me of the situation involving Alistair Overeem and the fact of “HE SHOULD’VE BEEN MORE CAREFUL!!!!!!

That’s just my two cents worth anyways…..

Suspensions and Violations

Hi y’all,

As you know, on Wednesday, Randy Orton was suspended for 60 days to his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. The rumour going round is that Randy tested positive to Dianabol, an anabolic steroid that is a banned substance, and also to marijuana which carries with it a $2500 fine. As I say, it’s just a rumour and nothing, other then his suspension, has been confirmed.

Also coming out of today is that Cody Rhodes also nearly failed the Wellness Policy as well. Apparently Rhodes tested positive for a banned substance but after providing a valid prescription from a licensed and treating physician, he was cleared. It is was reported that Cody thought he was going to be suspended but wasn’t.

I still can’t believe that Randy got suspended. I think it’s great that all performers get treated as equals and that the rules still apply to main eventers. Mind you, it couldn’t have come at worst time due to Chris Jericho being suspended due to the Brazil incident. OMG! Whose next on the chopping block

OMG!!!! First Jericho for the brazil incident and now orton for a wellness violation, SERIOUSLY!!!!!! What's going on!!!!!

Chris Jericho Suspended

Hi there everyone,

News coming out of yesterday is that Chris Jericho was suspended INDEFINATELY due to his actions at a show in Brazil.

CM Punk was waving the Brazilian flag around during his match against Jericho whom took it, scrunched it up and threw it out of the ring. The move was to try and get heat (as Chris Jericho is a heel character) but instead the police at the arena were going to arrest Jericho if he didn’t apologize, which he did.
WWE also copped a flogging over this incident and therefore, yesterday, decided to suspend Chris Jericho indefinitely.

However, when I woke up and checked it out this morning, it is now being said that Chris Jericho is only suspended for 30 days.

I think Chris Jericho deserves suspension. You go to another country and you should know the laws and so should know that even if your just ‘pretending’ it’s still against the law. I do agree with giving him a 30 day suspension and from what I’ve read, he does seem to regret it so I hope that many others learn from this. I know that the WWE takes stuff like this very seriously…..

Alistair overeem decision

Hi there everyone,
As I have mentioned in previous blogs, Alistair Overeem was dropped from UFC 146 due to failing a drug test. He had a hearing today and now is out for at least nine months, which is a bit of a blow. What I don't understand is how someone in his position, who knew the drug test conditions, would not check, double check or even triple check what was in his medications and/or why the doctor gave him. Mind you, the doctor should've known better as well. He would've known, the same as Overeem, what the drug policy was and what was and wasn't legal. :(
Such a waste of talent really.

Evan Bourne Update

Hi there everyone,

An update on the WWE Superstar Evan Bourne this past week is that Evan’s suspension for his second Wellness Policy violation will end on March 18th. There are a couple of rumors swirling round…

1. He could be released
2. He could return and possibly start a storyline with Jack Swagger

From what I’ve read, it seems as though the feeling is is that he will not receive as big pushes as he has done in the past due to having 2 violations in a generally small amount of time. Should be interesting to see what happens when he returns. Should be interesting…….

Rumor has it.....

Hi there once again everyone,
The rumor going round this week is that with his current suspension, Evan Bourne is done with WWE. Many feel that he will be released soon after his suspension is up. As it is he is missing his biggest paydays in the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.
I think this is a great shame. I think that Evan is a fantastic talent and he is great high flyer. Though I do think he is a few years too late in being in the WWE. Back when the cruiserweights had their own division he would've fitted in quite well. He has the look and the ability to move like a cruiserweight. I really don't know. I really thought he was better then taking drugs and getting suspended :(
Maybe, should he be released, he could go to TNA and fight with the likes of Austin Aries and Alex Shelley who are more his style wrestling. :(

Apology….

Hi there everyone,
As I reported this morning in BREAKING NEWS Evan Bourne has been suspended for 60 days following his second violation of WWE’s Health Policy.
Evan took to Twitter to apologize to his fans on letting them down (again!)….

“Sorry y’all. Sometimes we become our own worst enemy,”

Todd Grisham, a former announcer for WWE, also took to the social media site to express his disappointment in the WWE Superstar….

“Shocked about Evan Bourne. Once could be chalked up to a bad decision…twice and there’s a real problem. Hope he gets well. Great guy.”

I must say that when I saw this when I checked out the web, I honestly couldn’t believe it. Your in that position where you know you are getting tested for all this stuff and you have not long gotten off your FIRST violation and then this. Seriously……I’m sorry but I think Evan really needs to do something soon. He’s a great talent and I think that it would be a huge let down for him to screw this up again!

STAMFORD, Conn., January 17, 2012 – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE (NYSE:WWE) has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne®) for 60 days effective Tuesday, January 17 for his second violation of the company’s policy.

LIKE SERIOUSLY! He was suspended not long ago and this happens! OMG! WTH!

Sin Cara

Hi there everyone,
According to numerous reports that I have read, Sin Cara is not very well liked in WWE. He gave an interview to The Record in Mexico where he said that he didn't understand why he was suspended for failing a Wellness Policy test.
What happened, so I read, is that Sin Cara got an injection, that contained steroids, into his knee to alleviate persistent pain in his knee and thats what set off the violation.
Sin Cara has said that the treatment for his pain is used by many talents in Mexico and they are normal for his body.

Some people have speculated that Sin Cara will not return to WWE after his suspension because he has garnered so much heat backstage and some see it as a waste to have him. He has said however that his status will be a bit clearer after he meets with officials this week.

Honestly, I don't see Sin Cara as a main eventer. He just doesn't appeal to me. He's got nothing that I haven't already seen from Rey Mysterio and Psichosis (I think that's how you spell his name). He's not "it" as such which is a shame because I would like to see more luchadors in WWE.
