Extreme Rules results

Howdy there everyone,

Sorry this is over a week late but I have been busy with work and other bits and bobs.

Anyway, last week (Monday for me to be exact) was Extreme Rules (WWE PPV) and I have to say that as far as PPV’s go this year, this has got to be one of the best. I thoroughly enjoyed it. One match I didn’t fully understand but that’s fine. I’m really more happy about the fact that I do better at this (picking wrestling matches) then I do at footy tipping (might also note here that I don’t have the slightest idea about football but still).
Anyway, here are the results from last weeks PPV………. (my picks are in italics just for a change….)

  • Pre Show
    Miz def. Cody Rhodes
  • Chris Jericho def. Fandango
  • United States Championship
Dean Ambrose def. Kofi Kingston ©
  • Strap Match
    Sheamus
    def. Mark Henry
  • I Quit Match to crown a new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio def. Jack Swagger
  • Tornado Tag Team Championship Match
    Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
def. Daniel Bryan and Kane ©
  • Extreme Rules Match
    Randy Orton def. Big Show
  • Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena
© vs. Ryback went to no contest
  • Steel Cage Match
    Brock Lesnar def. Triple H

Now, I have to say that I now TOTALLY, 100% BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD! United States Champion and Tag Team Champions! Honestly, that is so uber kewl and I am so happy that Seth and Roman defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan. Don’t get me wrong, team Hell No were great and entertaining but they had had their run and were getting a little stale. So Seth and Roman, I am under stoked for!
As for the Last Man Standing Match, come on! I was so disappointed with this, especially when I heard that after it was declared a No contest, Ryback was up and walking. SERIOUSLY! I would’ve just given him the title then. HE WAS UP AND WALKING! Grr, just grrr!
And lastly, BROCK WON ON A PPV! WOO WOO WOO! THE BEAST INCARNATE WON! YAY!

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will hopefully talk shortly Winking smile

DDP=Nice Guy!!!!!!

Howdy there peeps,

Some nice news coming from today is that, according to some gossip, DDP, creator of DDP Yoga, is going to be moving into Scott Hall’s house to use his fitness regime and his knowledge on health and fitness to help Scott Hall get back on track.
It is widely known of Scott Hall’s personal problems with drugs and alcohol and I think that DDP is the guy that may be able to turn Scott’s life around (I hope.).
DDP has helped many numerous people including Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts lose over 50 pounds and there is a video on YouTube about a guy named Arthur who used the system….

And of course, Chris Jericho uses the system…

So I hope that this can definitely help Scott Hall. I hope DDP can do it! I have faith in him Smile

Hope you all have a good day. I know I will Smile

Have fun and take care.

Future Endeavours List of 2012

Howdy there everyone,

I was looking at one of my fav websites the other day EWrestlingNews and I came across this little gem. It shows all the superstars who were Future Endeavored in 2012 and I must say. I still can’t believe some of them. It’s gonna be interesting to see who gets this news in 2013. I know that there are a couple that I would really like gone but I guess we shall have to wait and see.
Anyway, here is a list of all the future endeavours for 2012.

  1. Andy Leavine (Most recent Tough Enough Winner)-April 2012
  2. Goldust-April 24
  3. Edge-April 30
  4. Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie)-April 30
  5. Tom Prichard (FCW Trainer)-May 30
  6. Maxine-June 28
  7. Armando Estrada- July 2
  8. Kharma-July 24
  9. Abraham Washington-August 10
  10. Chris Jericho-August 20
  11. Tyler Reks-August 21
  12. Kelly Kelly-September 28
  13. Beth Phoenix-October 29

That’s actually quite a list when you write it down. Some of which were more sad then others when they left (Edge being the perfect example of that! Sad smile). I guess we shall see if 2013 is a better year for talent or not…..

Anyway, I’ve gotta go.

Have fun and take care.

Chris Jericho Suspended

Hi there everyone,

News coming out of yesterday is that Chris Jericho was suspended INDEFINATELY due to his actions at a show in Brazil.

CM Punk was waving the Brazilian flag around during his match against Jericho whom took it, scrunched it up and threw it out of the ring. The move was to try and get heat (as Chris Jericho is a heel character) but instead the police at the arena were going to arrest Jericho if he didn’t apologize, which he did.
WWE also copped a flogging over this incident and therefore, yesterday, decided to suspend Chris Jericho indefinitely.

However, when I woke up and checked it out this morning, it is now being said that Chris Jericho is only suspended for 30 days.

I think Chris Jericho deserves suspension. You go to another country and you should know the laws and so should know that even if your just ‘pretending’ it’s still against the law. I do agree with giving him a 30 day suspension and from what I’ve read, he does seem to regret it so I hope that many others learn from this. I know that the WWE takes stuff like this very seriously…..

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Take care and have fun.

A worthy opponent for Brock???

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am. BROCK LESNAR IS BACK! Super stoked to see him back Open-mouthed smile

After RAW last week when Brock returned and F-5’d Cena (IT WAS AWESOME!) WWE.com put an article up asking Who can match up to Brock? Their answers were as follows:

  • Big Show
  • Sheamus
  • Randy Orton
  • Kane
  • Mark Henry

Now, when I read about this and I read why these guys should be feuding with Brock, I thought to myself ‘Who would I like to see challenge Brock?’ and I came up with these 5:

  • Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio, to me, deserves to face Brock Lesnar as I think that Del Rio is in his prime right now. He is a fresh face to Brock and I think that given Alberto’s style and move set, it would be a challenge to Brock.
  • Chris Jericho
Throughout their years in WWE, I can’t find any information on these guys having any type of feuds….which is sad because i think if Jericho really wants to say that he is in fact the best in the world then going through Brock would defiantly benefit his career.
  • John Cena
    Self explanatory…
  • Randy Orton
Randy and Brock, from what I can gather, have been in storylines before but that was way before the Viper became the superstar that he is today. I think if Randy went back to the demented kind of way he was before when he used to punt people in the head on a regular basis he would be a perfect fit for Brock. I can see that storyline playing out right now.
  • Wade Barrett
An uninjured Wade Barrett I believe deserves a shot at some greatness and I think challenging Brock would do him the world of good. I think it would propel him to new heights and I can also see this one happening..

Honestly, I would love to see Alberto and Wade get a chance as they are relative new comers to WWE and I think it would be a great change for WWE. That’s just my opinion anyway Winking smile

Well, that’s all from me for now.

Take care, and spike your hair Open-mouthed smile

Wrestlemania Predictions

Hi there everyone,

Today is the day! WRESTLEMANIA 28!!!!!! I can’t wait! Super stoked! From what I’ve read for the last month or so it’s turning out to be huge as! Should be interesting though as well which is good.

Anyway, here are the matches and who I think will win……and you know the drill, my picks are in the bold writing! Open-mouthed smile

  • Pre Show WWE Tag Team Championship Match
    Primo/Epico
© vs. Justin Gabriel/Tyson Kidd vs. The Uso’s
  • Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix ©/Eve
  • Randy Orton vs. Kane
  • A Match to determine who takes control of both Raw and Smackdown
Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, David Otunga, The Miz, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler)
vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, Zack Ryder,Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, Great Khali and R-Truth)
  • Intercontinental Championship Match
    Cody Rhodes
    © vs. Big Show
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
    Daniel Bryan © vs. Sheamus
  • WWE Championship Match
    CM Punk
    © vs. Chris Jericho
  • Hell In A Cell, Special Guest Referee: Shawn Michaels
    Undertaker
    vs. Triple H
  • The Rock vs. John Cena

Now, for the last match, I don’t see a decisive winner in all this. In fact, as I was figuring it out yesterday, interference or not, I see a double count out, double disqualification, or something like that happening. I just don’t see a clear winner. And I am rather hoping that the rumours going round are true. Should be interesting to see Winking smile

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Take care and I hope you all enjoy Wrestlemania!

Wrestlemania matches

Hi there again everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am alright. Some stuff happening that I wish it wasn’t but I can’t really do anything about it Sad smile

Anyway, Wrestlemania is coming up in a couple of weeks and it’s the one time that I purposely got it off just so I can keep up with it that day! Should be epic awesomeness!!!!

Here are the matches that have been announced so far….

  • The Rock vs. John Cena
  • HELL IN A CELL-SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: SHAWN MICHAELS
    Undertaker vs. Triple H
  • WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
CM Punk © vs. Chris Jericho
  • WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
    Daniel Bryan © vs. Sheamus
  • INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Cody Rhodes © vs. Big Show
  • Randy Orton vs. Kane
  • GM VS. GM FOR CONTROL OF BOTH RAW AND SMACKDOWN
Team Long (Santino/Kofi Kingston [Team Captains], R-Truth and 3 others) vs. Team Laurinaitus (David Otunga [Captain], Mark Henry, Christian and 3 others)
  • DIVA’S TAG TEAM MATCH
    Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Eve/Beth Phoenix ©

This should awesome. I hope it’s worth the day off for Winking smile I’m most looking forward to the Punk vs. Jericho! I think that should be a great match between two great wrestlers and I would really like to see who comes out on top and who in fact is the ‘best in the world’. I don’t care for the Cena vs. Rock match purely for the fact that I don’t like either of them. Cody vs. Big Show! YOU KIDDING ME!!!!

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Have fun and take care Smile

Dream Wrestlemania matches

Hi there everyone,
Since many people are putting up their 'what they want to see' Wrestlemania matches, I thought that I would do the same. I know some of you may not agree with me on this but these are the matches that I would like to see happen and the results as well.......and as per normal, my picks are going to be in bold.....

My Dream Matches..
  • Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker- Streak on the line
It would be a great match this one. I think if Brock were to come back to WWE it would be a match like this and I believe that Brock could win. He has beaten the best (eg.Hulk Hogan) and so I believe he would be a legitimate threat to the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania.
  • CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho- Who really is the best in the world????
I think of this one as a grudge match. CM Punk, when he was 'leaving' the WWE last year, in his promo speech, said that he was the best and I think that this would not have escaped the first Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. Chris is an egomaniac type of character and I believe that he would take note of this and come after Punk.
  • Primo/Epico/Rosa © vs. Jimmy/Jey Uso and Tamina- Tag Team Championship match
This match is one of those that I'm not sure of. There aren't many tag teams that I know of in WWE and this match would include both Tamina and Rosa. It's a simple match. Easy.
  • Triple H vs. John Laurinaitus- Grudge Match
Nothing really needs to be said for this match.
  • Beth Phoenix © vs. Natalya vs. Kharma- Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship
I believe this match would be great. All three have proven that they can wrestle. And anyone whose watched TNA knows that Kharma is a force to be reckoned with. I believe in breaking up the Divas of Domination or whoever they are. Just doesn't seem to be working for me.
  • Cody Rhodes © vs. Jack Swagger © - Whose the better champion...
I can't think of any other opponents for these two. I think it might be an idea as well to maybe blend these two titles together and make an undisputed championship. Just too many titles.

  •  Daniel Bryan © vs. Big Show vs. Sheamus- World Heavyweight Championship
I would like to see Big Show get another shot at the title but I would also like to see Sheamus grab the gold from the 'New Miz' Daniel Bryan. I don't like Daniel Bryan anymore (more so the character that he has become) and really don't like him as the champion. I think it's time for a new champ. And I think Sheamus is the one to do it.
  • Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kofi Kingston- WWE Championship
I would honestly like to see Dolph Ziggler holding the WWE Championship. I think he has paid his dues and battled endlessly in a company with mediocre talent atm to the point where he deserves the title. And I gotta put Kofi in somewhere to have a chance at something. These two have phenomenal matches and I would like to see them in a much more prominent position in the company.
P.S. I hope that Dolph gets rid of Vickie Guerrero. He doesn't need her anymore!
  • Battle Royal feat. the rest of the WWE Roster- Dark Match
Goes without saying as they have one every year......
Anyway, that's my ideal Wrestlemania matches for this year. We shall see how this all pans out. Should be interesting to say the least.
Have fun everyone.
Lil xoxo

Who was supposed to win????

Hi there everyone,
Some interesting, but very surprising news coming out of this morning is that there were a few superstars pencilled in to win before Sheamus.
Chris Jericho was one and a very obvious one at that. Many people around the blogosphere, that I had read, had said that Chris Jericho would win the Royal Rumble.
Triple H, who has more backstage influence these days, put forward that Sheamus should be the winner of the Royal Rumble.
“The closest to me is probably Sheamus, because we always train together on the road. But I try to watch all the young guys' matches and give them advice, if they want to hear it. If they take advice to heart and really want to improve, then I'm wanting to help. As for seeing some of myself in someone? That's tough. Sheamus just the other day showed up at a show he didn't have to be at. He does whatever he's asked to do without complaining, he goes to every show and is always wanting to work: he does it all, goes above and beyond. That's what I was like.”
(Taken from http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/1959/triple-h-behind-sheamus-winning-the-royal-rumble )
A couple of other names had also been put forward as potential Rumble winners. John Cena was one of them and then the storyline, given the fact that he already has a match at Wrestlemania, would be that of give up facing the Rock or give up the championship opportunity. Either way it would’ve been a lose/lose situation for Cena.
And the final name mentioned was Randy Orton. Orton was named because of the way that he put Mark Henry over when he became World Champion and also because the Royal Rumble was in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
Honestly, I am glad that neither Cena or Orton won. I am sick to death of Cena atm and would like to see a fresh face with the championship (which is it atm) and Orton I don’t think had enough build up for the Rumble and plus he was also taken out with injury like a month or two ago. I am super glad that Sheamus won and I think that he is one of the young ones to watch because he has that work ethic that will see him pushed. He reminds me alot of Cena outside the ring, from what I have read anyway. Maybe some of the others could learn from this and do some stuff to get themselves more noticed. Would be nice to see some more younger ones in the main events Smile
Anyway, that is all for now.
Have fun and take care.

Royal Rumble Predictions

Hi there everyone,

I am uber, duber, super stoked today because it’s raining and that gives me an excuse to sit down at my computer all day and keep up with the ROYAL RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!! WOO WOO WOO! YOU KNOW IT!!!

Anyway, I thought I better post my predictions for this RR event……

As per normal, my picks will be in the bold writing…..

  • World Heavyweight Championship-Steel Cage Match
    Daniel Bryan
© vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry
  • WWE Championship-Special Guest Referee John Laurinaitus
    CM Punk
    © vs. Dolph Ziggler
  • John Cena vs. Kane
  • 30 Man Royal Rumble Match
Now this match I have four men that I would like to see win the RR. They are…
Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus or Wade Barrett

As of right now, I am hoping that one of those four win and when I have been talking to people at work, they suspect Jericho or Sheamus. I guess we shall see soon enough. As long as it’s one of them I don’t care Smile

Anyway, that is all for now.
Have fun,
From Lil

RAW today….interesting :)

Hi there everyone,
Hope you are all as good as I am. I figured out that I will be home next week for the ROYAL RUMBLE which is EPIC AWESOMENESS! Open-mouthed smile I couldn’t believe it! Awesomeness! Open-mouthed smile
Anyway, today’s RAW Supershow has been….interesting to say the least. Some things have been set heading into next week’s PPV which is somewhat good and somewhat bad but I will get to that in a little while….
Here’s what happened….
  • CM Punk called out EVP of Talent Relations John Laurinaitus but instead got John Cena.
-Cena demanded to be placed into a match with Kane
-Also demanded that Zack Ryder get a US Title rematch
  • John Laurinaitus came out, makes Zack Ryder vs. Kane in a Falls Count Anywhere match where if Cena interferes, Zack gets no more US Title opportunities.
Also made WWE Champion CM Punk/John Cena vs. US Champion Jack Swagger/Dolph Ziggler
  • Dolph Ziggler/US Champion Jack Swagger def. WWE Champion CM Punk/John Cena after John Laurinaitus came out and distracted CM Punk.
After the match, CM Punk challenged John Laurinaitus to a match to which he accepted!!!!!!!!
  • CHRIS JERICHO’S HIGHLIGHT REEL RETURNED!!!!
On the Jeri-Tron 5000, it showed a video of Chris' Jericho’s storied career.
After the video, Jericho grabbed a mic and said “This Sunday at the Royal Rumble, it’s going to be the end of the world as you know it.” What does this mean??????
  • Zack Ryder vs. Kane ended in a no contest after the two combatants made their way to the stage at the top of the entrance ramp and Kane choke slammed Ryder through the stage Sad smile
  • Sheamus def. Jinder Mahal
-Wade Barrett ( Smile ) was on the commentary team
-After the match, Sheamus continued to re-affirm that he will win the Royal Rumble next week.
  • Brodus Clay def. Heath Slater Sad smile
  • R-Truth def. The Miz
-The stipulation made for this match was that the loser would enter the Royal Rumble at #1. Guess who lost???? MIZ Sad smile NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe, just maybe, he can pull a Shawn Michaels and win it after entering first…….
  • CM Punk vs. John Laurinaitus didn’t happen Sad smile
-Laurinaitus received a letter from the Board of Directors that said that his job performance and decision making had been brought to their attention and that this job performance will be evaluated by……….WWE COO TRIPLE H!!!!!!!!!
-With his job on the line, John told the WWE Universe that Mick Foley is entered into the Royal Rumble Smile
-John tried to make peace with Punk by offering a hand shake, which, Punk took and then made into a GTS! Open-mouthed smile
-With Punk distracted, Dolph Ziggler came into the ring and took out his Royal Rumble opponent with the ZIG ZAG! Sad smile
I can’t believe that Miz is #1 in the Rumble! NOT KEWL AT ALL! I can’t see him winning it. One of my friends suggested that John Laurinaitus should enter the Rumble and WIN IT! OMG! Bad idea Sad smile Not good at all. I can’t even think about that……brrrrr………
Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
Ta ta,
Lil xoxo

Mystery 2/1/2012 is…

Hi there everyone,
As you may have seen already this past week, the mystery person who was behind the 2/1/2012 videos was none other then…….CHRIS JERICHO!!!!!!!!
Since November there have been videos, cryptic videos, about the return of someone and on RAW this past week Jericho was found to be the one to return.
However, his return has left more questions then answers due to his none speaking…….
Why is he back?
Who is she?
Why did he not speak in his return?
I have some theories and I thought I’d share these with you…
  1. He’s back to challenge CM Punk (or any other title holder) at Wrestlemania 28
  2. Stephanie McMahon is the “she” he refers to in the videos.
  3. Others involved who are already on the roster
  4. He’s come back to see who really is the “best in the world” against CM Punk
All of these are somewhat viable. I’m not sure about Stephanie though because he has never, in storyline anyway, listened to her before so why would he start now. I do think he’s back for a). A Championship and b). Big Wrestlemania pay day! I’m hoping that we find out more on this weeks RAW. Hopefully he reveals who “she” is…….
You have brought this upon yourself
A familiar force shall arrive to claim what is rightfully his
She holds the mystery of my rebirth
I will return to claim what is mine
It is time
The end of the world as you know it is here
Now
(One of the cryptic videos before Chris Jericho’s return to RAW)
Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

2/1/12…..

Hi there everyone,

Tomorrow, on RAW, will be the day we find out whose behind the cryptic video messages. I’m not entirely too sure who it will be and have been asking one of my friends and they thought of a couple of people but they are VERY UNLIKELY….
Here are some of the names that have been thrown around online…..

  • Stephanie and Shane McMahon
  • John Cena (heel version)
  • Kharma
  • Batista
  • Chris Jericho
  • Brodus Clay
  • Undertaker
  • Triple H

I’m leaning more towards Chris Jericho or Undertaker. Some of the other options seem a little bit left of field per say. I’d like to know what you guys think……

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Chris Jericho Article

Hello there everyone,
Chris Jericho was intervied this past week by Simon Rothstein of The Sun webpage and in that article he discusses why he chose a wrestling career over a music career.

He says that back in Winnipeg, California, in the 1980's there wasn't alot of oppurtunities in music or wrestling but that wrestling had more ways to get into.

"...I stopped being in bands, but I never stopped playing music and jamming and writing music."

10 years on and Jericho formed a band by the name of Fozzy (which personally I do prefer to listen to. Quite good really....) and he is juggling his commitments with his band inbetween his wrestling commitments (a 6 time world champion and counting.....).

"I love it. It's so worth all the juggling I do with wrestling now."
When asked about what his future in WWE will be, Chris says that he will stick around for a couple of years to help others and "....to help the young talent."

If you would like to see the full article, please click here

That is all for now there fellow internet users.
Until next time, you know you love me xoxo

Just little bits to keep us occupied

Hello there fellow readers,
Just some little notes on different pieces of wrestling information I found interesting

I can confirm, from my source, that Scott Steiner is officially done with TNA.

Beer Money Inc have apparently been telling people that they are frustrated because Vince Russo doesn't see them as top stars. Russo has actually said that they are 'expandable' (same thing!) but some think that this is a way that Russo is getting back at James Storm for being outspoken. After all this though it doesn't seem to be as many have noted that backstage, all three involved get along fine backstage.

There are some new Unified Tag Team Champions. The Big Show and The Miz are the new champions after the Miz pinned Shawn Michaels.

Chris Jericho has put his 2 cents worth in this week after advising Beth Phoenix not to follow in the footsteps of Chyna (former WWE Diva) and go after the Intercontinental Championship, which is currently held by Drew McIntyre, as "It'll kill your career like it did Chynas....".

And lastly, the first person to be inducted into the 2010 WWE Hall of Fame is none other then The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase Sr.

Thats just some little news to keep you tied over.

Until next time, you know you love me xoxo
