Bound For Glory Series announced

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all well. I have the weekend off which is brilliant and it means more time to spend on here WOO WOO WOO!

Anyway, today on Impact (TNA) it was announced that the Bound For Glory Series would be returning. Now, as we all know, Mr Bobby Roode won the BFG Series last time and faced Kurt Angle and lost. After which yours truly (me Open-mouthed smile) wrote a rather long post called Bound For Glory-Robert Roode-Hulk Hogan-TNA issues about how I thought the whole thing with Bobby Roode-James Storm-Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff was a load of BS.

Getting back to the point at hand…..On Impact today, the 12 participants for the BFG Series were announced and how to earn points was also mentioned. The participants this year are….

AJ Styles*
Bully Ray*
Christopher Daniels
James Storm*-20 Points already
Jeff Hardy
Kurt Angle
Magnus
’The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero*
Rob Van Dam*
Robbie E
Samoa Joe*
Mr Anderson

*-Stars who participated in last years Bound for Glory Series

Also on Impact, there was a Battle Royale to a). announce the competitors and b). to start the Series off. James Storm won the Battle Royal and so was awarded 20 points.

Now, the ways to earn points are…

-Submission Victory – 10 points
-Pinfall Victory – 7 points
-Countout Victory – 5 points
-Disqualification Victory – 3 points
-Draw (Time Limit/Double Countout/Double Disqualification) – Two points
-Disqualification Lose – you LOSE 10 points

The Type of Matches
Each wrestler will battle each other ONCE in the series!  These matches will take place over IMPACT WRESTLING on Spike TV and on TNA’s live event tours across the country, with the point structure outlined above.

Standings and How to Win!
The standings will be updated on ImpactWrestling.com. The standings will be “locked” on the September 6 edition of IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV.  The top point leaders advance to No Surrender PPV (9/9) for a one-night playoff to see who gets the Bound For Glory World Title Match!
(Taken from Bound For Glory Series)

So there you have it. Should be an interesting couple of months to see who steps up and who bails……keep you posted Winking smile

Anyway, that is all for now.
Tata for now.

Over The Limit 2012

Hi there everyone,
In a couple of weeks, WWE's PPV 'Over The Limit' will take place and at this point in time, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Should be....interesting to say the least.
Anyway, here are the matches so far that have been announced for the PPV. I won't put my picks up yet because anything can happen between now and then Smile

  • John Cena vs.. John Laurinaitus
  • WWE Championship Match
CM Punk © vs. Daniel Bryan
  • Divas Championship Match
    Layla © vs. Beth Phoenix
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus © vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
  • Tag Team Championship Match
Kofi Kingston & R-Truth ©  vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

So these are the matches that have been announced so far for the PPV. I’m sure that there will be more on the way.
Take care and have fun now.
Lil xoxo

Sacrifice Matches

Hi there everyone,
Well, as you all know, Sacrifice, one of TNA’s PPV’s is on Monday and I thought that this morning I would put up my predictions on who will win.
So here are the matches and who I think will win…. (and as usual, my picks in bold)
  • Television Championship Match
Devon © vs. Robbie T vs. Robbie E
  • Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
    Bobby Roode
    © vs. Rob Van Dam
  • Jeff Hardy vs. Mr Anderson
  • X Division Championship Match
    Austin Aries
    © vs. Bully Ray
  • Knockouts Championship Match
    Gail Kim
    © vs. Brooke Tessmacher
  • Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles
  • Tag Team Championship Match
    Magnus & Samoa Joe
    © vs. Daniels & Kazarian
Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Take care and have fun.

Dream Wrestlemania matches

Hi there everyone,
Since many people are putting up their 'what they want to see' Wrestlemania matches, I thought that I would do the same. I know some of you may not agree with me on this but these are the matches that I would like to see happen and the results as well.......and as per normal, my picks are going to be in bold.....

My Dream Matches..
  • Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker- Streak on the line
It would be a great match this one. I think if Brock were to come back to WWE it would be a match like this and I believe that Brock could win. He has beaten the best (eg.Hulk Hogan) and so I believe he would be a legitimate threat to the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania.
  • CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho- Who really is the best in the world????
I think of this one as a grudge match. CM Punk, when he was 'leaving' the WWE last year, in his promo speech, said that he was the best and I think that this would not have escaped the first Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. Chris is an egomaniac type of character and I believe that he would take note of this and come after Punk.
  • Primo/Epico/Rosa © vs. Jimmy/Jey Uso and Tamina- Tag Team Championship match
This match is one of those that I'm not sure of. There aren't many tag teams that I know of in WWE and this match would include both Tamina and Rosa. It's a simple match. Easy.
  • Triple H vs. John Laurinaitus- Grudge Match
Nothing really needs to be said for this match.
  • Beth Phoenix © vs. Natalya vs. Kharma- Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship
I believe this match would be great. All three have proven that they can wrestle. And anyone whose watched TNA knows that Kharma is a force to be reckoned with. I believe in breaking up the Divas of Domination or whoever they are. Just doesn't seem to be working for me.
  • Cody Rhodes © vs. Jack Swagger © - Whose the better champion...
I can't think of any other opponents for these two. I think it might be an idea as well to maybe blend these two titles together and make an undisputed championship. Just too many titles.

  •  Daniel Bryan © vs. Big Show vs. Sheamus- World Heavyweight Championship
I would like to see Big Show get another shot at the title but I would also like to see Sheamus grab the gold from the 'New Miz' Daniel Bryan. I don't like Daniel Bryan anymore (more so the character that he has become) and really don't like him as the champion. I think it's time for a new champ. And I think Sheamus is the one to do it.
  • Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kofi Kingston- WWE Championship
I would honestly like to see Dolph Ziggler holding the WWE Championship. I think he has paid his dues and battled endlessly in a company with mediocre talent atm to the point where he deserves the title. And I gotta put Kofi in somewhere to have a chance at something. These two have phenomenal matches and I would like to see them in a much more prominent position in the company.
P.S. I hope that Dolph gets rid of Vickie Guerrero. He doesn't need her anymore!
  • Battle Royal feat. the rest of the WWE Roster- Dark Match
Goes without saying as they have one every year......
Anyway, that's my ideal Wrestlemania matches for this year. We shall see how this all pans out. Should be interesting to say the least.
Have fun everyone.

Royal Rumble Card

Hi there everyone,
3 matches so far have been made for the Royal Rumble which is coming up in the next couple of weeks.
Here are the matches and no, I won’t put my picks up just yet due to it not being a full card, yet…..
  • WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
CM Punk © vs. Dolph Ziggler with Special Guest Referee: John Laurinaitus
  • John Cena vs. Kane
  • 30 Man Royal Rumble Match
Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Hardcore Justice Lineup

Hi there everyone,
Hardcore Justice is on Monday (grr, I'm at work then too :( ) and matches have been announced for it.
Here are the matches and my predictions about whom I think will win......
  • World Heavyweight Championship
    Sting (c) vs. Kurt Angle
  • Tag Team Championships
Beer Money (c) vs. Mexican Americana
  • X-Division Championship
Brian Kendrick (c) vs. Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley
  • Six Man Tag Team Match
    Fortune vs. Immortal
  • Challenge Match
    Mr Anderson vs. Bully Ray
  • Knockouts Championship
Mickie James (c) vs. Winter w/Angelina Love
  • Bound For Glory Series Match
    Rob Van Dam vs. Crimson
  • Bound For Glory Series Match
"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero vs. Devon
Now, as per usual, my picks are the ones in bold. I'm not sure about my picks because I haven't really been keeping up to date with TNA as of late. They haven't really had anything interesting that got at me and the only match I do care about is the X-Division match. I really would Alex Shelley to win but I'm not sure. Austin Aries has the go behind him so I do think that he is just inches closer the Shelley :(

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me

Victory Road 2011

Hello there again everyone,
Tommorow (Australia time) is the TNA pay-per-view 'Victory Road'. Looking at some of the match ups, it should be good *hopefully :)*

Anyway, here are the matches and my picks on who will win @ Victory Road...... (my picks are in bold)
  • Angelina Love/Winter (c) vs. Sarita/Rosita- KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
  • Bully Ray vs. Tommy Dreamer- CHALLENGE MATCH
  • Beer Money (c) vs. Ink Inc.- TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
  • Kazarian (c) vs. Jeremy Buck vs. Robbie E. vs. Max Buck- ULTIMATE X FOR THE X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
  • Matt Hardy vs. AJ Styles
  • Mr Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam- #1 CONTENDER FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
  • Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan- FIRST BLOOD MATCH
  • Sting (c) vs. Jeff Hardy-TNA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
This was a hard one to pick only because I have been slightly slacking off on seeing what the storylines were. I think some matches favour some wrestlers more then others but we shall see. And I also think that we may, depending on what happens, have some interference, particularly during the Bully Ray/Tommy Dreamer (by Devon) and by Ric Flair during the AJ Styles/Matt Hardy. I do think that may happen however we shall see.
Until tomorrow,
you know you love me

Undertaker Health Update

Hi there everyone,
It has been reported that the Undertaker is still rehabilitating his torn rotator cuff that was repaired surgically last year. The fear is is that at Wrestlemania 27 he won't be able, unless he aggressively rehabs the injury that he will limited severely to what he can do in his match against Triple H. It is expected that the latest injury is going to affect his mobility in the long term future.
WWE sources have been heard to have said that if he keeps himself in shape, works around his physical limitations and is able to keep performing his signature moves that he will be able to appear at many more Wrestlemania events.

Until next time,
you know you love me

Lockdown and Extreme Rules matches

  • Douglas Williams (c) vs. Shannon Moore vs. Kazarian for the X Division Championship
  • Team Hogan (Abyss [CAPTAIN], Jeff Jarrett, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy) vs. Team Flair (Sting [CAPTAIN], Desmonde Wolfe and Beer Money)

Wrestlemania Ideas and TNA's Announcement

Hello there again my fellow readers,
One of the rumors going around this week is that at next weeks Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Chris Jericho will win the World Heavyweight title in the Smackdown Chamber match.
This sets up 2 rumored matches quite well.
In one of my previous blogs, Wrestlemania 2010, I wrote my thoughts about the rumored matches for Wrestlemania that were going around at that time. Two of them were The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho vs. Edge.
Now, Chris Jericho winning the title "supposedly" at Elimination Chamber would free the Undertaker up to have his match against Shawn Michaels (AGAIN!!!!) and give Edge the possibility of facing his former Tag partner at Wrestlemania. Edge at the current time, is guaranteed a title shot at a champion of his choice and some are suggesting that by Jericho winning the title, Edge will go after him and have a possibility of winning the title.

We are now confirmed on one of my other rumors that TNA will in fact be heading to Monday Nights. In my blog entry, TNA Gossip, I mentioned that the rumor was going around that TNA would head to Monday nights between 9-11pm EST. That was confirmed Monday before the Impact taping at a press conference held by Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan.
Dixie has confirmed that the move is a permanent one but not all weeks will be live.
Hogan also put his two cents worth in saying "TNA has a better product, better talent, and better everything.....They will not repeat history, they will make history." (Talking about the first Monday wars between WCW/WWE and today's WWE/TNA)
From what I have read, Dixie and Hulk Hogan are trying to talk it up. I'm not sure how this will work but really, we shall see in due time. I don't want TNA to go the same way as WCW because that would be a really big waste of the amazing talent that TNA have. Wonder what Eric Bischoff was thinking when he was being told this???? Hmmmm, be interesting to hear wouldn't it?

Wrestlemania 2010

Hey there everyone,
There are ideas popping up in some places about Wrestlemania coming up in March. The speculation being what matches will take place.
The rumored matches are
  • Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
I really don't fancy Undertaker versing Shawn again. Mind you, I guess if you wanted someone to stop the streak at Wrestlemania, then it would have to be the guy that retired Ric Flair at WM 24, the Showstopper, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.
  • Triple H vs Sheamus for the WWE Title
I can see this match happening. I have a feeling this might occur because rumor going round is that Shawn and Triple H will start a feud and that will break up DX and ultimately that will lead to the Unified Tag Team Championship heading to another tag team. I'd like to see how this whole idea plans out if it comes to that.

  • John Cena vs Batista

  • Money in the Bank

  • Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart (Street Fight)
I don't think that this one will happen. The reason I say that is because my understanding is that Mr McMahon retired from in-ring competition and, unless he's like Ric Flair, who broke a promise, I don't think we will see McMahon in a ring any time soon. Also, that would be an insult to Bret for putting him in a match with McMahon. Vince can't wrestle. He's no good.

  • Randy Orton vs. Ted Dibiase
This match does seem likely after what happened at the Royal Rumble, where Randy Orton, after being disqualified after Cody Rhodes interfered, took out his frustrations mainly on Ted Dibiase, who came to look after Rhodes. I honestly can see this one happening and I hope it does.

  • WWE Divas Battle Royal

  • Chris Jericho vs. Edge
This is a match that I would like to see happen at Wrestlemania but I'm not sure it will. Only because Edge won the Rumble and is guaranteed a TITLE match at WM will it possibly not happen. Mind you, all we have to do is give Jericho the WWE Championship (thats a thought!!!!) and then we could have Edge go after Jericho's title. Give's him payback for the harsh things that Jericho said about Edge when he was out injured. You never know.
Anyway, those are my opinions about the rumored matches that I have read about. Please feel free to leave your opinions as well.
Until next time, you know you love me xoxo

Adelaide RAW Live 2009!

Wow! What a night it was. I was one of the silly ones unfortunately who didn't take their camera (I didn't think you could, how silly of me) and so I have come home with some real dodgy pictures on my phone but thats ok. I still have some of the images in my head.
Anyway, the event itself was incredible. I sat in seat d10 of section G and it was a great seat. I loved it. I saw all the action (and, as shallow as it may seem, got a good look while I was there. LOL). So now I will give you the results of the night as well as some memorable things that happened during the matches.....

  • Goldust w/ Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero
After Goldust had defeated Chavo, Hornswoggle did a Tadpole splash. Hornswoggle was the favorite in this match (as he is in any match that he is in!)
  • Jamie Noble def. William Regal
  • Big Show def. MVP
Big Show, in his character, was being yelled at by some kid in the front row and in the end the Big Show told the kid that if he didn't stop he would come out and sit on him and smother him. It was really funny. And, in my opinion, Big Show doesn't really look all that big in real life. He looks bigger on the TV.
  • Seamus def. Santino Marella
This match has kind of made me a Santino convert. He is a good wrestler and is funny too. Seamus cut a promo after his entrance stating the Irish are better and stronger then the Italians which Santino didn't agree with too much. At the end of the match, Santino was at the ropes, asked for the mic and said "I'm ok." and then dropped down again. Good match though.
BTW, Seamus is very white!
  • Mickie James def. Divas Champion Maryse
Can I just say.....MARYSE IS TINY!!!! She really is! I couldn't believe it. She's about half the size of Mickie who I must add got a big pop from the crowd. I didn't really like this match although I must say it's better in real life then on the TV.
  • Cody Rhodes w/Ted Dibiase def. Carlito w/Primo
This match had so much interference that it was at the point that it was fun to watch. I must say, this is the one match where I think the wrestlers looked better in real life then they did on TV. ESPECIALLY Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes. I loved every second of this match and watching Legacy defeat the Colons was awesome as!

  • US Champion Kofi Kingston def. The Miz and THE Brian Kendrick
In all honesty, with opponents like he had, Kofi was always going to retain. I was cheering for Miz, don't get me wrong, but, they just, in my opinion, don't have what it takes to be US Champion. I was hoping for a title to change and I was hoping for it to be this one, but it wasn't to be. :(

  • Triple H def. Randy Orton
Now, before you get too excited, Triple H only won because Legacy (*sigh*) came out and started beating up Triple H so he won by disqualification. After a while The Colons came out and while Ted and Orton got out as fast as they could, Cody Rhodes was left in the ring, surrounded by The Colons and Triple H. After trying to plead to them all about letting him go, Triple H gave Cody a pedigree. This match received the best response of the night and Triple H received the biggest applause of the night! It was a good match in my mind.

Anyway, thats it for that night. It was a great night. Worth the money I paid for it and I am hoping to go and see it again next year. I'm debating about it.
Until next time,
Adios Amigos xoxo

Update 6/6/2009: There is one more match for Extreme Rules. There will be a fatal four way match for the United States Championship. The participants will be Kofi Kingston (c) vs. MVP vs. William Regal vs. Matt Hardy. My prediction for this match is.....Kofi Kingston will retain!
