Wrestlemania 31 Predictions

Hi there everyone,
I don’t know about you all but I cannot wait for tomorrow. WRESTLEMANIA COME AT ME!!!!!!!!!!! I got my snacks all ready to go so I can be fully prepared! Yee Haaa!

Anyways, here are my predictions for tomorrow’s event (and as per normal my predictions are in bold…… )
  • Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
  • United States Championship match
    Rusev © vs. John Cena
  • AJ Lee & Paige vs. Nikki © and Brie Bella
  • Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins
  • Fatal Four Way match for the Tag Team Championships
Tyson Kidd & Cesaro © vs. New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos
  • Sting vs. Triple H
  • Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Miz vs. Curtis Axel vs. Ryback vs. Fandango vs. Adam Rose vs. Zack Ryder vs. Jack Swagger vs. Titus O’Neil vs. Darren Young vs. Big Show vs. Kane vs. Eric Rowan vs. Damian Mizdow vs. Sin Cara vs. Goldust vs. Heath Slater vs. Mark Henry vs. Konnor vs. Viktor vs. Hideo Itami
  • Intercontinental Championship Match
Wade Barrett © vs. R-Truth vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Stardust vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose
  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Brock Lesnar © vs. Roman Reigns
  • Now, there are a couple of matches where I am umming and arghing over so I might just mention these now.
First is the Intercontinental Championship match. I think it will come between three competitors….Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose or Dolph Ziggler and as much as I want Dolph to win, I think Daniel will take the title.
Also the Andre The Giant Battle Royal was a tough one so I’m going with one of the up and coming stars from NXT in Hideo Itami because I think it would be a great boost for not only Hideo but also for the NXT competitors.
I also am putting on the record now that I think Seth will cash in (if he does watch out work!) and I also think that the Rock may also make an appearance. He normally does in some capacity and there are reports that he will be in the area. Let’s hope not but hey. There are also reports of Heyman turning on Brock and again, if he does, watch out work because if Brock loses his title against Roman, there will be chaos all week! That would ruin Easter for me!
So there would be my predictions for tomorrows PPV so I hope that everything goes my way....
So have fun, take care, and I shall hopefully blog again tomorrow.

RAW 18/6/2013

Howdy there everybody,

Today’s RAW was one of the best that I have ever seen. Awesome. Just pure awesomeness, only behind the RAW that was after Wrestlemania. That was just epic.

Anyway, on today’s RAW many things have happened.
Here is a lowdown in bullet points of what happened Smile

  • ALBERTO DEL RIO TURNED HEEL Surprised smile
  • CM Punk told Paul Heyman he was a friend, not a client and that he didn’t need him at ringside anymore……….
  • CHRISTIAN RETURNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Stephanie and Vince McMahon both made appearances on RAW
  • Mark Henry gave the best retirement speech ever and then DID A COMPLETE AND UTTER U-TURN ON THE WWE UNIVERSE and said that he demands a title shot for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! OMFG!
  • Brock Lesnar came out at the end of the show and F-5’d CM PUNK! OMG!

This poses a very serious question, did Paul Heyman send him out or did Brock do it on his own terms….. I guess we shall find out in due time. But, also, where was Paul Heyman? MMMMMM…..interesting.

Anyway, the best part of the show………

CHRISTIAN RETURNED!!!!!

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Have fun and take care.

Extreme Rules results

Howdy there everyone,

Sorry this is over a week late but I have been busy with work and other bits and bobs.

Anyway, last week (Monday for me to be exact) was Extreme Rules (WWE PPV) and I have to say that as far as PPV’s go this year, this has got to be one of the best. I thoroughly enjoyed it. One match I didn’t fully understand but that’s fine. I’m really more happy about the fact that I do better at this (picking wrestling matches) then I do at footy tipping (might also note here that I don’t have the slightest idea about football but still).
Anyway, here are the results from last weeks PPV………. (my picks are in italics just for a change….)

  • Pre Show
    Miz def. Cody Rhodes
  • Chris Jericho def. Fandango
  • United States Championship
Dean Ambrose def. Kofi Kingston ©
  • Strap Match
    Sheamus
    def. Mark Henry
  • I Quit Match to crown a new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio def. Jack Swagger
  • Tornado Tag Team Championship Match
    Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
def. Daniel Bryan and Kane ©
  • Extreme Rules Match
    Randy Orton def. Big Show
  • Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena
© vs. Ryback went to no contest
  • Steel Cage Match
    Brock Lesnar def. Triple H

Now, I have to say that I now TOTALLY, 100% BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD! United States Champion and Tag Team Champions! Honestly, that is so uber kewl and I am so happy that Seth and Roman defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan. Don’t get me wrong, team Hell No were great and entertaining but they had had their run and were getting a little stale. So Seth and Roman, I am under stoked for!
As for the Last Man Standing Match, come on! I was so disappointed with this, especially when I heard that after it was declared a No contest, Ryback was up and walking. SERIOUSLY! I would’ve just given him the title then. HE WAS UP AND WALKING! Grr, just grrr!
And lastly, BROCK WON ON A PPV! WOO WOO WOO! THE BEAST INCARNATE WON! YAY!

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will hopefully talk shortly Winking smile

Anyway, today is the WWE’s PPV ‘Extreme Rules’, one of my fav PPV’s of all time. But I thought that I would post on who will win (as per usual) so here it goes (my picks in bold…..)

  • I Quit Match to crown the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
    Alberto Del Rio
    vs. Jack Swagger
  • Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena
    © vs. Ryback
  • Steel Cage Match
    Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Strap Match
    Sheamus
    vs. Mark Henry
  • Extreme Rules Match
    Randy Orton
    vs. Big Show
  • United States Championship Match
Kofi Kingston © vs. Dean Ambrose
  • Tornado Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships
Kane/Daniel Bryan © vs. The Shield’s Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
  • Fandango vs. Chris Jericho
  • Pre-Show Match:
    The Miz
    vs. Cody Rhodes

So there you have it. My picks for today’s PPV. Lets just hope I do better then the footy tipping that I do Sad smile

Anyway, have fun and take care.

Wrestlemania Matches

Howdy there everyone,

Hope your all well. I’m excited. The week before Wrestlemania is always fun and exciting for me. I love it. Some of my work colleagues and some friends have been talking to me about it and I have to say that they doubt some of my picks. So we shall see what happens Smile

Anyway, here are my picks for Wrestlemania next week (picks in bold as usual)…

  • WWE Championship Match (Once In A Lifetime part II)
    Rock © vs. John Cena
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
Alberto Del Rio © vs. Jack Swagger
  • Pre Show-Intercontinental Championship Match
Wade Barrett © vs. The Miz
  • Wrestlemania Streak on the Line
    Undertaker vs. CM Punk
  • Tag Team Championship Match
Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) © vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston
  • Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
  • Ryback vs. Mark Henry
  • The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) vs. Team WWE (Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show)
  • Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
-If Triple H loses, he must retire
  • Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) & The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes and Damian Sandow) & The Bella Twins

Now, I know I’m going to cop alot of flak here because of some of my choices but just let me explain a few things.

Rock, in my opinion, doesn’t deserve to be champion. He came back, asked for a title shot, and got it. Seriously! He doesn’t deserve to be the champ and I do hope that Cena wins this one. Mind you, I am also hoping that should Rock somehow win, that Dolph Ziggler cashes in his Money In The Bank contract on him and become champ. Do you guys realize how much heat he would cop if he did that to the PEOPLE’S CHAMP! That’d be awesome! I do think that whoever wins will get Dolph cashing in on them, either at Wrestlemania or the RAW after.

In terms of Undertaker vs. CM Punk, I do believe that Punk has what it takes to beat Taker. It would just compliment his moniker of “I’m The Best In The World” and he could cement that by beating the Undertaker, who let’s face it, hasn’t got that many Wrestlemania’s left in him.

Brock Lesnar I know will absolutely ANNIHALATE Triple H. There is no way Triple H will walk out of that match un-assisted. When you fight Brock Lesnar, that is exactly what you get, a FIGHT! And the fact that it’s a no holds barred match means it works more in his favour.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango. When I first heard about this match I was like WTF! Seriously! Now, I am actually quite enjoying the idea of this match. I like the idea that it’s based on when Chris did Dancing With The Stars. I think Fandango can actually pull this off because Chris is going on tour with Fozzy after Wrestlemania so he won’t be there for much longer and he can actually teach Fandango a thing or two. Could actually be a good match. A really good match if done right Smile

Anyway, there are my picks for Wrestlemania. We shall see what else happens between now and then.

Hope you all have fun and take care.

Brock Lesnar.....

Howdy there everyone,
I jut wanted to say....Brock Lesnar's finishing manoeuvre the F5 is one of the best moves ever!!!!
Just saying ;)

Hall Of Fame 2013

Howdy there everyone,

I read an article yesterday that was talking about names for the 2013 WWE Hall Of Fame. There are a couple of names that won’t make it for reasons to be explained but some others are actually quite viable.

Here are the names that are currently being tossed around….

  • The Rock
  • Owen Hart
  • Mick Foley
  • Ultimate Warrior
  • Bruno Sammartino

Now, out of those names I can see 2 possibly 3 going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Rock and Mick Foley are the two definite’s  that I can see going in down the line and particularly since the Rock is kind of making a comeback to the WWE I could see this happening.
Mick is another one who I can see it happening to. Why not? He is the hardcore legend…..He put his life on the line many, many times for the sake of sports entertainment and I believe that he deserves to be in that HOF.

Now, Owen Hart I think defiantly deserves to be in the HOF however, his widow wants nothing to do with the WWE and I believe that because of her hatred (given how he passed away I can see why she would be angry with the WWE) he won’t be in the HOF for a very, very long time. Which is a shame because, from what I have seen, heard and read about Owen, he was a great performer and would be classed in that greatness category which is the Hart Family.

Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino are the same story in a way because the idea is is that they have both been reached out to before in order to be inducted into the HOF and both have said no many, many times. I don’t know why the reason for this would be but, to me, I don’t think they did anything worthwhile so I don’t see why they should be inducted. Stop asking them if they say no! Duh!

Now, my picks for who I think should go in the Hall Of Fame…. this is bound to ruffle some feathers….

  • Lita
  • Trish Stratus
  • Edge and Christian/Dudley Boys/Hardy Boys
  • Brock Lesnar
  • Paul Heyman
  • Undertaker
  • D-Generation X

Now, Lita and Trish both deserve it because they proved that women can do all the things that men can do and sometimes, they can do it better. And Lita would actually be great if the Hardy Boyz were to be inducted as well.

Edge, Christian, Bubba Ray, Brother Devon, Matt and Jeff Hardy I think should all be thrown in together because they helped create and bring to the forefront the TLC matches and they helped pave the way for TLC matches for the years that followed. They made those matches and I think for that, they should be inducted.

Paul Heyman…..well…..ECW! Nothing more to be said ;)

Undertaker…..self-explanatory

DX, in my opinion, one of the best groups that has ever been in the WWE. Why not induct them. I think they deserve it.

Well, there you have it. We shall see what happens in the coming months won’t we. If you have any thoughts, please feel free to let me know. I would like to hear what you guys think.

As for me, I’m going to go and get ready for Survivor Series.

Have fun and take care.

Santino Marella © vs. Antonio Cesaro

Have fun and take care.

A worthy opponent for Brock???

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am. BROCK LESNAR IS BACK! Super stoked to see him back Open-mouthed smile

After RAW last week when Brock returned and F-5’d Cena (IT WAS AWESOME!) WWE.com put an article up asking Who can match up to Brock? Their answers were as follows:

  • Big Show
  • Sheamus
  • Randy Orton
  • Kane
  • Mark Henry

Now, when I read about this and I read why these guys should be feuding with Brock, I thought to myself ‘Who would I like to see challenge Brock?’ and I came up with these 5:

  • Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio, to me, deserves to face Brock Lesnar as I think that Del Rio is in his prime right now. He is a fresh face to Brock and I think that given Alberto’s style and move set, it would be a challenge to Brock.
  • Chris Jericho
Throughout their years in WWE, I can’t find any information on these guys having any type of feuds….which is sad because i think if Jericho really wants to say that he is in fact the best in the world then going through Brock would defiantly benefit his career.
  • John Cena
    Self explanatory…
  • Randy Orton
Randy and Brock, from what I can gather, have been in storylines before but that was way before the Viper became the superstar that he is today. I think if Randy went back to the demented kind of way he was before when he used to punt people in the head on a regular basis he would be a perfect fit for Brock. I can see that storyline playing out right now.
  • Wade Barrett
An uninjured Wade Barrett I believe deserves a shot at some greatness and I think challenging Brock would do him the world of good. I think it would propel him to new heights and I can also see this one happening..

Honestly, I would love to see Alberto and Wade get a chance as they are relative new comers to WWE and I think it would be a great change for WWE. That’s just my opinion anyway Winking smile

Well, that’s all from me for now.

Take care, and spike your hair Open-mouthed smile

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!

Hi there everyone,

Wrestlemania is in 2 days and this should be excitement for all…..it is rumoured that BROCK LESNAR AND BATISTA WILL APPEAR AT WRESTLEMANIA!!!!!!!!

In terms of Brock Lesnar, there have been negotiations and the likelihood of him appearing are 50/50. Dana White, president of UFC has said that Brock is no longer under contract with UFC but doesn’t really know if he will appear.
If Brock does appear, there is talk of him coming out and taking out both John Cena and the Rock to set up a main event match for next years Wrestlemania!

Brock 2

Batista wise, he is in Miami and WWE management have picked him up but it’s not confirmed what he’s actually there for.

Personally, if this is true that both Brock and Batista are at Wrestlemania……OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so can’t wait now! I got 2 days to be excited and watch the news like there’s no tomorrow! OMG! So super duper excited. Mind you, I would like Brock to come back and fight with the Undertaker and set up a match there instead of with The Rock….Sad smile We’ll have to wait and see. Either way, if he does appear it shall be AWESOME AS!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Dream Wrestlemania matches

Hi there everyone,
Since many people are putting up their 'what they want to see' Wrestlemania matches, I thought that I would do the same. I know some of you may not agree with me on this but these are the matches that I would like to see happen and the results as well.......and as per normal, my picks are going to be in bold.....

My Dream Matches..
  • Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker- Streak on the line
It would be a great match this one. I think if Brock were to come back to WWE it would be a match like this and I believe that Brock could win. He has beaten the best (eg.Hulk Hogan) and so I believe he would be a legitimate threat to the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania.
  • CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho- Who really is the best in the world????
I think of this one as a grudge match. CM Punk, when he was 'leaving' the WWE last year, in his promo speech, said that he was the best and I think that this would not have escaped the first Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. Chris is an egomaniac type of character and I believe that he would take note of this and come after Punk.
  • Primo/Epico/Rosa © vs. Jimmy/Jey Uso and Tamina- Tag Team Championship match
This match is one of those that I'm not sure of. There aren't many tag teams that I know of in WWE and this match would include both Tamina and Rosa. It's a simple match. Easy.
  • Triple H vs. John Laurinaitus- Grudge Match
Nothing really needs to be said for this match.
  • Beth Phoenix © vs. Natalya vs. Kharma- Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship
I believe this match would be great. All three have proven that they can wrestle. And anyone whose watched TNA knows that Kharma is a force to be reckoned with. I believe in breaking up the Divas of Domination or whoever they are. Just doesn't seem to be working for me.
  • Cody Rhodes © vs. Jack Swagger © - Whose the better champion...
I can't think of any other opponents for these two. I think it might be an idea as well to maybe blend these two titles together and make an undisputed championship. Just too many titles.

  •  Daniel Bryan © vs. Big Show vs. Sheamus- World Heavyweight Championship
I would like to see Big Show get another shot at the title but I would also like to see Sheamus grab the gold from the 'New Miz' Daniel Bryan. I don't like Daniel Bryan anymore (more so the character that he has become) and really don't like him as the champion. I think it's time for a new champ. And I think Sheamus is the one to do it.
  • Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kofi Kingston- WWE Championship
I would honestly like to see Dolph Ziggler holding the WWE Championship. I think he has paid his dues and battled endlessly in a company with mediocre talent atm to the point where he deserves the title. And I gotta put Kofi in somewhere to have a chance at something. These two have phenomenal matches and I would like to see them in a much more prominent position in the company.
P.S. I hope that Dolph gets rid of Vickie Guerrero. He doesn't need her anymore!
  • Battle Royal feat. the rest of the WWE Roster- Dark Match
Goes without saying as they have one every year......
Anyway, that's my ideal Wrestlemania matches for this year. We shall see how this all pans out. Should be interesting to say the least.
Have fun everyone.
Lil xoxo

Surprise entrants…..

Hi there again everyone,

There has been some specualation over who may be the surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble this year. Every year the Royal Rumble has “surprise” entrants (eg. Diesel and Booker T in 2011) and this year, there is some speculation as to whom may appear. Some of the suggestions do seem a little far fetched but some others may not.
Here’s a list that I compiled from reading a few blogs around the place….

Triple H: It was announced that he is coming back to RAW to “evaluate” John Laurinaitus’ job performance as the Interim GM, I just don’t see him coming into the Rumble. He doesn’t need it per-say….in my opinion anyway.

Booker T: This is just far-fetched. He may be a 5 time WCW champion and has never won the Royal Rumble, but I don’t see it happening. I don’t even see him entering. He did that last year…..

Batista: As much as I would love to see Batista, the animal, back in the WWE, this is just one of those things that I don’t see happening. He has spoken of his intentions to do MMA and I don’t see how coming back to WWE would help that. Mind you, a good pay-day could be a great boost for him……. Winking smile

Batista

Shawn Michaels: Just as unlikely as Booker T…..

Undertaker: I can see this one happening. They (the WWE) will need to bring him back soon to work on the build-up with Wrestlemania and the streak, so this could possibly, and is more then likely, going to happen.

Brock Lesnar: This is one that I didn’t think so until my co-worker and I were talking about this yesterday. While many say that he wouldn’t come back to WWE full-time, the pay-day for the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania would be great. And as was said on one of the websites that I was reading/watching, there is just too many coincidences for it not to happen. From him retiring from UFC (where he is still under contract) to him being included as an unlockable character in the WWE ‘12 game, why would these things happen…….coincidence?????? I’d like to think something big……

Brock Lesnar

As for me, I would like to see Brock back, even if it is for just a couple of humungous PPV’s. I liked Brock’s character and I think that if he does come back, it’d be great for the WWE. Mind you, he is still technically under contract with UFC which could be a slight hiccup but hey, stranger things have happened.

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Until next time,
You know you love me Winking smile

A Hall of Fame Idea…..

Hi there everyone,
I was just sitting here, in the lounge room, watching Eclipse (3rd Twilight Movie) and I had a really great idea.
What if………..WWE inducted PAUL HEYMAN AND BROCK LESNAR INTO THE HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!!! That’d be soooo awesome!!!! And then Brock Lesnar could have his humongous pay day at Wrestlemania against, say, the Undertaker…..
………Just a thought anyway……
Let me know what you think…….
Until next time,
Ta ta Winking smile

Brock Lesnar and UFC 141

Hi there everyone,
As you may or may not have heard, Brock Lesnar has officially retired from the UFC.
“I’ve had a really difficult couple of years with my disease. and I’m officially going to say this is the last time you’ll see me in the octagon.”
He lost to Alistair Overeem in 2:26 minutes of the first round by TKO. Afterwards, he announced to the world his intention of retiring.
During the post UFC-141 press conference, Dana White commented on the Brock Lesnar situation as best he could.
“I had no idea he would do that, (but) am I surprised? No.
Brock Lesnar has made alot of money in his career and has achieved a lot of things…He brought a lot of excitement to the heavyweight division. What he accomplished in a short amount of time is amazing, but I get it. It doesn’t shock me.”
Dana White goes on to say that Brock is still under contract with the UFC despite his retirement and that should and if Brock want to go to WWE they will figure it out.
“When he retires, he retires under contract. I’ve had my moments with Brock Lesnar, but I’ve had a great relationship with him. I don’t know….we’ll figure it out, no big deal. Never had a situation with a guy where, you know, we haven’t done the right thing.”
Brock was not in attendance at the press conference because he was backstage receiving medical attention.
I was super shocked when I saw that Brock had a). LOST and b). that he was retiring from UFC! I couldn’t believe it! He’s the reason that I have gotten into UFC in the first place and now he’s gone. Who am I going to have as my favorite now? Oh, that's right, FRANK MIR!
There are rumors going around that Brock will return to the WWE (not full time) and fight at Wrestlemania this year and it was no secret that Vince wanted Brock last year to fight the Undertaker. Only time will tell what will happen with the great Brock Lesnar!
THANK YOU BROCK LESNAR!!!
