RAW notes from Monday

Hi there everyone,

I know this is a little bit late but I’ve been a tad bit distracted lately (Mum’s off to Nepal, Work, Boyfriend, Housework etc.) but I was catching up with RAW this week and there was some stuff that I thought ‘WHOA!’ so I thought that I would mention it here….

  • Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley fired the Big Show after his interference during the Battleground main event between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton.
  • Bad Maddox announced that through the WWE App, the WWE Universe would be able to pick a Special Guest Referee for the up-coming Hell In A Cell match between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. The three choices that were given were Booker T, Bob Buckland and Shawn Michaels, who, shock horror, won the voting and will now be locked in the cell with Bryan and Orton during their match to crown a new WWE Champion.
  • Vickie Guerrero announced that Alberto Del Rio would be facing a returning John Cena at Hell In A Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship Surprised smile
  • Big Show knocked out Triple H at the end of the show!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, it was a fantastic RAW although I do have my doubts about Cena being 100% by Hell In A Cell but hey, it’s his decision, not mine…..

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will speak to you all soon.

Honestly, I was soooooo uber stoked when the Rhodes family won. I was jumping around and generally making a fool of myself. It was such an emotional match to watch knowing that their jobs depended on it. Awesome match.
As for the WWE Championship match…..SERIOUSLY! Why would you do that 2 PPV’s in a row! Still no champion…… That’s BS even by my standards…….. Sorry WWE but that’s how you lose people.
Other then that, the PPV was pretty uneventful for me. Just the 2 matches that caught my interest were the best ones Smile

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Have fun and take care.

RAW 18/6/2013

Howdy there everybody,

Today’s RAW was one of the best that I have ever seen. Awesome. Just pure awesomeness, only behind the RAW that was after Wrestlemania. That was just epic.

Anyway, on today’s RAW many things have happened.
Here is a lowdown in bullet points of what happened Smile

  • ALBERTO DEL RIO TURNED HEEL Surprised smile
  • CM Punk told Paul Heyman he was a friend, not a client and that he didn’t need him at ringside anymore……….
  • CHRISTIAN RETURNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Stephanie and Vince McMahon both made appearances on RAW
  • Mark Henry gave the best retirement speech ever and then DID A COMPLETE AND UTTER U-TURN ON THE WWE UNIVERSE and said that he demands a title shot for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! OMFG!
  • Brock Lesnar came out at the end of the show and F-5’d CM PUNK! OMG!

This poses a very serious question, did Paul Heyman send him out or did Brock do it on his own terms….. I guess we shall find out in due time. But, also, where was Paul Heyman? MMMMMM…..interesting.

Anyway, the best part of the show………

CHRISTIAN RETURNED!!!!!

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Have fun and take care.

Payback Results

Hi there everyone,

Yesterday’s Payback PPV was actually pretty kewl. Predictable but kewl. I honestly enjoyed it. I had to catch up with it because I’d had an appointment when it started but from what I have read, it sounds awesome.

Anyway, here are the matches (in order) and who won (my predictions in bold)

  • Pre Show
    Sheamus def. Damien Sandow
  • Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Curtis Axel def. Wade Barrett © and The Miz
  • Diva’s Championship Match
    AJ Lee def. Kaitlyn ©
  • United States Championship Match
    Dean Ambrose
    © def. Kane
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
Alberto Del Rio def. Dolph Ziggler ©
  • CM Punk def. Chris Jericho
  • Tag Team Championship Match
Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns © def. Daniel Bryan/Randy Orton
  • Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Championship
    1. Lumberjack Match, 2. Tables Match & 3. Ambulance Match

    John Cena © def. Ryback

Well, I have to say, that was quite a predictable PPV. Although I really didn’t expect Alberto Del Rio to win. That was out of nowhere but the match was quite brutal on a ‘just-been-cleared’ Dolph Ziggler and by the looks of it, he didn’t look all that good. Although I do see a slight heel turn for Alberto Del Rio. YAY! Should be good if he does Smile
Other then that, nothing surprised me. But it was still a good PPV by my standards anyway Smile

And that is where I leave you all.
Have fun and take care.

Extreme Rules results

Howdy there everyone,

Sorry this is over a week late but I have been busy with work and other bits and bobs.

Anyway, last week (Monday for me to be exact) was Extreme Rules (WWE PPV) and I have to say that as far as PPV’s go this year, this has got to be one of the best. I thoroughly enjoyed it. One match I didn’t fully understand but that’s fine. I’m really more happy about the fact that I do better at this (picking wrestling matches) then I do at footy tipping (might also note here that I don’t have the slightest idea about football but still).
Anyway, here are the results from last weeks PPV………. (my picks are in italics just for a change….)

  • Pre Show
    Miz def. Cody Rhodes
  • Chris Jericho def. Fandango
  • United States Championship
Dean Ambrose def. Kofi Kingston ©
  • Strap Match
    Sheamus
    def. Mark Henry
  • I Quit Match to crown a new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio def. Jack Swagger
  • Tornado Tag Team Championship Match
    Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
def. Daniel Bryan and Kane ©
  • Extreme Rules Match
    Randy Orton def. Big Show
  • Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
    John Cena
© vs. Ryback went to no contest
  • Steel Cage Match
    Brock Lesnar def. Triple H

Now, I have to say that I now TOTALLY, 100% BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD! United States Champion and Tag Team Champions! Honestly, that is so uber kewl and I am so happy that Seth and Roman defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan. Don’t get me wrong, team Hell No were great and entertaining but they had had their run and were getting a little stale. So Seth and Roman, I am under stoked for!
As for the Last Man Standing Match, come on! I was so disappointed with this, especially when I heard that after it was declared a No contest, Ryback was up and walking. SERIOUSLY! I would’ve just given him the title then. HE WAS UP AND WALKING! Grr, just grrr!
And lastly, BROCK WON ON A PPV! WOO WOO WOO! THE BEAST INCARNATE WON! YAY!

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will hopefully talk shortly Winking smile

Dolph Ziggler Wins! (Finally!)

Howdy there everyone,

As you can possibly gather from my post on Monday OMG!, Dolph Ziggler is no longer Mr. Money In The Bank, he is the new WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Ziggler successfully cashed in on Alberto Del Rio after the champ had successfully defended his title against Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter. Jack had done quite alot of damage to the leg of the then champion which Ziggler also focused on during his match with him.
Ziggy (Thanks John Morrison for that Smile ), was accompanied by Ms. AJ Lee and Big E Langston (when is he not these days) and when he won, both hopped in the ring and celebrated with him.

Honestly, I have been waiting for this moment. I think Dolph deserved it and you could tell the emotions that were showing were real. Awesome moment. I remember that after the terrible start to RAW (Miz losing his Intercontinental Championship 24 hours after he won it!) I was so excited that Dolph won! I was running round the house and it made going to work a whole lot better. I was so super duper happy Smile Congrats to Dolph Ziggler, the new WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Money In The Bank predictions

Hi there everyone,
I was a bit too lazy to type up who I thought would win today at MONEY IN THE BANK so I thought that I would write it and then post it. Should be interesting to see what comes at this PPV.
Have fun and take care.

A worthy opponent for Brock???

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am. BROCK LESNAR IS BACK! Super stoked to see him back Open-mouthed smile

After RAW last week when Brock returned and F-5’d Cena (IT WAS AWESOME!) WWE.com put an article up asking Who can match up to Brock? Their answers were as follows:

  • Big Show
  • Sheamus
  • Randy Orton
  • Kane
  • Mark Henry

Now, when I read about this and I read why these guys should be feuding with Brock, I thought to myself ‘Who would I like to see challenge Brock?’ and I came up with these 5:

  • Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio, to me, deserves to face Brock Lesnar as I think that Del Rio is in his prime right now. He is a fresh face to Brock and I think that given Alberto’s style and move set, it would be a challenge to Brock.
  • Chris Jericho
Throughout their years in WWE, I can’t find any information on these guys having any type of feuds….which is sad because i think if Jericho really wants to say that he is in fact the best in the world then going through Brock would defiantly benefit his career.
  • John Cena
    Self explanatory…
  • Randy Orton
Randy and Brock, from what I can gather, have been in storylines before but that was way before the Viper became the superstar that he is today. I think if Randy went back to the demented kind of way he was before when he used to punt people in the head on a regular basis he would be a perfect fit for Brock. I can see that storyline playing out right now.
  • Wade Barrett
An uninjured Wade Barrett I believe deserves a shot at some greatness and I think challenging Brock would do him the world of good. I think it would propel him to new heights and I can also see this one happening..

Honestly, I would love to see Alberto and Wade get a chance as they are relative new comers to WWE and I think it would be a great change for WWE. That’s just my opinion anyway Winking smile

Well, that’s all from me for now.

Take care, and spike your hair Open-mouthed smile

Alberto Del Rio and The Miz backstage.....

Hi there again everyone,
I have some news that I wanted to share with you guys about the Miz and Alberto Del Rio.
I'll start with Alberto first....
The feeling backstage with some of his co-workers is that Alberto off-putting in the way that he portrays himself. He has been known to show himself as what I can gather as a 'backstage politician' and he walks around like a superstar. There is also a bit of doubt as to how over he is due to the way he has been recieved in the matches and promos, which aren't very well. However, according to reports, Del Rio has the company officials onside "....because he's bilingual, tall and has a 'great movie star look.' " His push for being a two-time WWE-Champion is also because the company wants to push more Hispanic stars due to the uncertainty of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.

The Miz is also not garnering any good feelings backstage either. Many did speculate it was due to the incident on RAW last week regarding R-Truth, however, that seems not to be the case. Reports say that the feeling is that Miz is overly obnoxious and has to always be the center of attention
"The feeling is he's like a little frat boy who is loud and has to be the center of attention"
It is also the belief that his work has fallen downwards, both in the ring and verbally. To many he is coming off as a mid-carder with no motivation and the company officials don't really have much reason to make him a top-tier talent like he was this time last year.

Miz has also managed to put Alberto Del Rio off as well.....
"This is not part of the show. I really dislike that guy. I've tried to punch him in the face several times, not in the ring I mean outside the ring, but he's just like a little girl, he's always running away from me.....There's a big difference between The Miz and I, I'm a real athlete, he's just a loud stupid little kid. He's probably one of those guys that was bullied when he was in school, that's the reason he's now oh so loud and he wants to get attention from everybody, but in my case he's the real deal.............he's fat and ugly."

Honestly, I love both of these guys and I think that there is a little bit of a problem as to where their characters stop and their real personalities begin. I think also they were kind of thrust into the spotlight with no real idea of how to handle it and their just kind of expected to know what to do. I do hope that both of these two get the pushes that they deserve and I hope Miz is given his chance to shine once again! He deserves it! Actually, so does Alberto Del Rio!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that is all from me for today.
Until tomorrow,
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite! :)
Nighty Night.
Lil :D

Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio......

Hi there again everyone,
I read a news piece yesterday (more like gossip) and it was talking about the returns of Alberto Del Rio and of Rey Mysterio. Both are currently out with injuries (Alberto with a groin injury and Rey with a torn ACL).
Both Alberto and Rey were backstage for RAW but neither was used. The feeling is that they are likely to make their returns in the coming weeks leading up to Wrestlemania.
The feeling around is that Alberto is fine and that he will be appearing after the Elimination Chamber. Rey however is not fully healed but suspicion is that both Rey and Alberto will be tied somehow into a returning storyline.
YAY!!!!!!! SO SUPER DUPER STOKED that Alberto is coming back!!!!! WOO WOO WOO! As you may be aware, I am a huge fan of Alberto Del Rio's and I think he is a fantastic wrestler! CAN'T WAIT FOR WRESTLEMANIA TO SEE ALBERTO!!!!

Anyway, have fun, take care and don't be silly! :D
