Summerslam Matches

Hi there everyone,

Sorry for the absence from here. I have been busy with work, bf and a few other bits and bobs. But here I am so here we go Smile

Summerslam is coming up on Monday (in Australia anyway…) and I am excited because for the first time in a long time there will be FIRE!
Here are the matches so far announced for Summerslam………. (my picks as usual are in bold)

  • WWE Championship Match with Special Guest Referee: Triple H!
John Cena © vs. Daniel Bryan
  • CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
Alberto Del Rio © vs. Christian
  • Ring Of Fire Match
    Kane vs. Bray Wyatt
  • Dolph Ziggler/Kaitlyn vs. Big E. Langston/AJ Lee
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Sandow
  • Natalya vs. Brie Bella
  • United States Championship Match Kick-off Match (Pre-Show)
Dean Ambrose © vs. Rob Van Dam

Personally, the only matches that I am looking forward to are the World Championship Match and the Ring Of Fire. Mind you, the ROF match is basically a watered down version of an Inferno Match (awesome match too if you want to YouTube it Smile) so I guess, and am hoping, that the ROF match will be as good. And the World Championship match I am looking forward to because Christian is in the title picture AGAIN! Yay! Say what you like about him but I think Christian is awesome as! I’ve gone off Del Rio ever since he attacked Ricardo so I’m hoping that Christian beats his backside Smile
Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will hopefully talk to you all Monday…..

Rock and WWE….

Howdy there everyone,

As I mentioned earlier this week in my post Rocky peed off???? Rock was very frustrated with WWE after Wrestlemania. And now, more details are emerging about the relationship between Rock and WWE.

Apparently, there was supposed to be a planned angle in the post Wrestlemania RAW that would eventually culminate to Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock at Summerslam. But as we all know, Rock decided to be a big cry baby and straight after Wrestlemania, went straight home and that “apparently”, is where he has been ever since.
There is major concern in the WWE that Rock will never again wrestle and there is said to be some major issues between both parties. My guess is that things have to be pretty bad for Vince’s golden boy to just jet set off home after the big pay day….

As for Rock’s “injury”, the news coming from that is that he and his doctors have decided not to re-attach the tendons to the bone and that they will scar up.
In terms of physical therapy, Rock had this to say on his Twitter “Injury update: Physical therapy starts tomorrow. Hardcore training starts today. Thank U guys for the love. 5 weeks out..#RoadtoHercules.
Seriously??????Can’t cut a promo on RAW due to issues, even if it’s to say good bye, but can start getting “pumped up” for a movie????So much for the PEOPLE’S CHAMP! Honestly, Rock is just getting lower and lower on my wrestlers list. And I didn’t even like him to start with! Grr…..This guys supposed to be a role model for kids…..Whatever!

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care.

Summerslam results

Hi there guys and gals,
How are you all? If your like me, your coming to terms with what happened at Summerslam....WOWZERS! it was quite possibly one of the best PPV's of 2011. Certainly alot better then some of TNA's PPV's as of late.....
Anyway, You quite possibly have already read what has happened or possibly guessed from my previous blog of Alberto Del Rio, however I am here to share with you anyway what happened and my predictions......

  • Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, John Morrison def. Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, R-Truth
  • Mark Henry def. Sheamus via Countout
  • Diva's Championship Match
Kelly Kelly (c) def. Beth Phoenix
  • Wade Barrett def. Daniel Bryan
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
    Randy Orton
    def. Christian (c)
  • Undisputed WWE Championship Match
With Special Guest Referee: Triple H

    CM Punk
    (c) def. John Cena (c)

Now, this may look it but no. What happened next was that Kevin Nash came out and attacked CM Punk while he was celebrating in the ring. After Kevin Nash was finished with Punk, Alberto Del Rio came down to the ring and cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase! My reaction........INDESCRIBABLE!!!!!!! I was literally jumping up and down and just yelling "YES! YES! YES!" all round the house. My poor younger bro even got a hug I was so happy! I just couldn't believe it! Like AWESOME! It was one of the best things to happen. So stoked.
So that explains the Alberto pics that came up on the day :) Sorry.

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,

RAW this week

Hi there everyone,
How are you all? I am very well. Little tired but all good.
RAW this week was very good. I enjoyed it. I sooooo can't wait for Summerslam. It's going to be awesome!
Anyway, here are the results from RAW this week.....

  • Beth Phoenix won a No. 1 Contender’s Diva Battle Royal.
After the match, Kelly Kelly went to give the Glamazon a hug in good sportsman ship and Beth retaliated by brutally tossing her out of the ring and telling her that her days of beingn perky, cute, little bimbo are over! WOWZERS!
  • The Miz & R-Truth def. Rey Mysterio & John Morrison
  • WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty def. Santino Marella & Zack Ryder
  • Alberto Del Rio def. Evan Bourne
Also, Triple H made yet another monumental decision. Despite John Laurinaitis, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, saying that The Game should strip John Cena of the title, Triple H made the decision that, at Summerslam, CM Punk will face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship! This I can't wait to see.

Honestly, this John Cena/CM Punk angle, couldn't they have dragged it out just like they have with the Rock.Cena angle. Honestly, like how come they can do that? I just don't get it. However, I am still super stoked that this is going to happen. I was wondering how they were going to fix this situation. Now I know.

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me

Alberto Del Rio plans for the future *Possible Spoilers*

Hi there everyone,
How are you all today? I am so much better then yesterday. Day off today. WOO WOO WOO (sorry to rip off Zack Ryder, I couldn't help it!).
Anyway, I was reading through some of the other dirt sheets and I cam across some news about Alberto Del Rio which I thought I would share with you.
As we all know, WWE are constantly changing plans and directions in which they want to take their stars. This has happened to Alberto alot lately due to the 'CM Punk returning' storyline and him being Mr Money In The Bank. The Summerslam PPV card that the creative had planned on Monday was scrapped due to Punk's storyline being 'awful'.
There is talk however of Alberto being the WWE Champion at some stage soon. Possibly at Summerslam. This is all due to the fact that they, the WWE people, want to draw in the numbers of the Latin Community and they think that Alberto can do that if he becomes Champion. They also want him to be champion when they go to Mexico in October so that they can widen their fan base a whole lot more. They think that if they have him as WWE Champion, they can promote him with the idea that he would be the first ever Mexican to hold the championship belt while they are taping there.

I'm going to be honest, I love Alberto Del Rio. And I am so annoyed that at Wrestlemania this year, after all the hype, he didn't become champion. I'm still annoyed that he's not champion. But I do think that he is a great superstar, and, agreeing with what the Miz said at the Royal Rumble, he talks, walks and looks like a superstar. He's better then alot of people give him credit for and I hope that he does become Champion soon and hold it for a long time. Unlike Rey Mysterio :(

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me xoxo
