Rocky Issues….

Howdy there everyone,

Thought I better do some more Rock updates for you and I can tell you, this is not putting Rock in a good light at all (not that he was with me anyway…)

In my post Rocky peed off???? I had a quote from the Rock’s twitter account where he stated that he wasn’t going to have surgery to repair his injury, and instead he was just going to rehab it. Well, on his twitter in the last couple of weeks he posted this….

Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend..#WeFallWeRise…”

Seriously, why did suddenly decide to have surgery? Why would he say he’s not going to and then do it? Strange…..Mind you, it could also be because he wouldn’t want to delay the shooting of his new movie ‘Hercules’ anymore then he has to. I do wish him well in his recovery. I really do. Injuries suck and in the businesses that he chose (wrestling and movie making) injuries can put you out of the game for quite some time.
And while we are on the topic of that, I read somewhere that movie studio’s actually don’t like it when the Rock wrestles because it has such a high risk of injury and they get really nervous with him doing all his stuff with the WWE. Mind you, from what I can gather lately, he’s not coming back (THANK GOD!)

Now, (also Rock related), from what I have been reading, and what I mentioned in my post Rock and WWE.... was that there were tensions between the Rock and WWE after Wrestlemania but what I am reading is that there were tensions a few days before WM 29, with April 5th being the precise souring of moods between the two.
Rock’s not happy with a couple of things that the WWE have done with him as of lately.
He wasn’t willing to subject himself to losing 2 months in a row on PPV to John Cena (first was his loss at Wrestlemania and his second was going to be at Extreme Rules) and so it was put forward to him that he cut a promo on RAW after Wrestlemania and get beat down by Brock Lesnar and that would set the stage for a feud that would culminate at Wrestlemania next year (That’d be an awesome match BTW). But Rock wasn’t having that as he felt that it wouldn’t have the same draw appeal because they BOTH lost at Wrestlemania this year. Rock then put forward his suggestion of him vs. The Undertaker next year (I’m sorry but that would be a dud match to me). No word exactly on how that went down although I can imagine how that worked.

The other thing that has rocked Rocky is the fact that he when he came back (sporadic appearances appear to count these days) he dealt mainly with Vince McMahon. Together they worked out his deal and 9 times out of 10 he got what he wanted. Fast forward a couple of years and Triple H, who has more and more power backstage, has started to get involved and isn’t being so easy with the Rock. It’s said to be quite a “uneasy relationship” between the two.
Reminds me of Punk’s fantastic promo that he cut a couple of years ago and he mentioned ‘DWAYNE’ as an ass kisser and low and behold….Dwayne is just that! How correct and spot on was Punk!
(If you want to check out point in question go to WWE Monday Night Raw CM Punk Shoot Promo and at 3:28min in, he mentions Dwayne….)

Honestly, I have never liked the Rock and I don’t see what the big deal is with him. There is nothing special about him and yes, I am still angry over the fact that he was the WWE CHAMPION AND DIDN’T PROMOTE IT! WWE Champion needs to be someone who EARNED THEIR SPOT AND DIDN’T JUST ASK FOR IT! If you don’t like it, feel free to comment but do be aware that this is something that I am passionate about and I am very anti-Rock!

Anyway, have fun and take care like always.

Rock and WWE….

Howdy there everyone,

As I mentioned earlier this week in my post Rocky peed off???? Rock was very frustrated with WWE after Wrestlemania. And now, more details are emerging about the relationship between Rock and WWE.

Apparently, there was supposed to be a planned angle in the post Wrestlemania RAW that would eventually culminate to Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock at Summerslam. But as we all know, Rock decided to be a big cry baby and straight after Wrestlemania, went straight home and that “apparently”, is where he has been ever since.
There is major concern in the WWE that Rock will never again wrestle and there is said to be some major issues between both parties. My guess is that things have to be pretty bad for Vince’s golden boy to just jet set off home after the big pay day….

As for Rock’s “injury”, the news coming from that is that he and his doctors have decided not to re-attach the tendons to the bone and that they will scar up.
In terms of physical therapy, Rock had this to say on his Twitter “Injury update: Physical therapy starts tomorrow. Hardcore training starts today. Thank U guys for the love. 5 weeks out..#RoadtoHercules.
Seriously??????Can’t cut a promo on RAW due to issues, even if it’s to say good bye, but can start getting “pumped up” for a movie????So much for the PEOPLE’S CHAMP! Honestly, Rock is just getting lower and lower on my wrestlers list. And I didn’t even like him to start with! Grr…..This guys supposed to be a role model for kids…..Whatever!

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care.

Rocky peed off????

Howdy there everyone,

As you may have read on WWE.com, Rock was unable to appear on RAW the day following Wrestlemania 29 because he had been injured during his match with Cena.

Word coming out of today is showing a whole new side the Brahma Bull.

Apparently Rock suffered a legitimate injury during his match which when it finished he “stormed out” of the building without seeing any of the WWE doctors/trainers and flew home to see his own team.

On his Twitter account, Rock posted…..
”Injury update: Dr's & I elected not to reattach tendons to my pelvis. They'll just scar up. Now I prep to shoot HERCULES #TheDemiGOD”

Rock has been seen at the gym training up for his new movie which has led many backstage to wonder just how serious his injuries actually are. And the fact that he left just after his match and didn’t bother to get in touch with WWE until the next day has left many people wondering.

Another reason that Rock may have left abruptly from the building is because he was throwing what I’m gonna call a “temper tantrum”. Apparently Rock was upset that the plans for his match at Wrestlemania changed on the day. Rock was originally planned to retain the title at Wrestlemania and then drop it at Extreme Rules.
Personally, I can see why the creative changed it. There would’ve been no point in Cena losing at Wrestlemania because of the build up that had built up with Rocky. From losing at last years Wrestlemania and for most of 2012, to then winning the Rumble and having all that momentum, it wouldn’t have made sense. And the fact that the Rock is scheduled to be shooting Hercules between now and then, it wouldn’t have made sense for the Rock to be the champ. That and he didn’t actually do a good job of promoting his Wrestlemania match, AS THE WWE CHAMPION SHOULD!!!!!

“Despite what you see during interviews with John Cena and The Rock, there is legitimate heat between the two and they simply don't get along in real life. The two are said to be "cordial" backstage but there is a "battle of egos" and you can tell there is tension between the two according to those backstage.
As noted the day after the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view, there was "absolute panic" backstage at RAW the following night in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The show was scheduled to build to a segment where Brock Lesnar beat up The Rock to set up next year's WrestleMania main event. The problem was that The Rock was not there and went home. Vince McMahon, the writers and producers rewrote the show, most specifically the opening segment. The Rock was actually scheduled to open RAW with a promo about losing the WWE title to John Cena, only to be attacked and taken out by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. This would set up the WrestleMania 30 main event.
In addition to the opening segment being re-written, there was a second major angle to set up the main feud going forward and the Extreme Rules main event involving John Cena's next title defense. The Rock was said to be involved in that, which of course led to further revisions.”

Rock vs Cena heat

Well, there you have it. Another reason for me to hate on the Rock! He’s just a big old cry baby who when he doesn’t get what he wants, leaves. So much for ‘The People’s Champ’! HA!

Have fun everyone.

The Marine 3

Hi there everyone,

Some news that has put me in better spirits today is the fact that The Miz! (Mike Mizanin) is set to star in the new WWE Film ‘Marine: Homefront’. It’s the third movie in the ‘Marine’ franchise with John Cena and Ted Dibiase starring in the first two.
There were other names that were considered for the part such as CM Punk, JTG, Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
Cena was considered to do the movie and it would’ve had a storyline that he would pick up where the first Marine movie left off, but as noted, it didn’t come to fruition.

YAHOO! I am now so super stoked! This has made my day! I think it’s about time that Miz got to do a movie and he has come from a background of media (Real World and Tough Enough) so I’m suprised that it has taken this long for him to get into the movie scene. Good luck to him and I know that I will definately be seeing this one (I still have the first Marine on DVD in the plastic cover, never been watched, and I have seen the second one and it’s not that bad.)

Anyway, have fun and take care.
I’ll catch you all later.

Chris Benoit: The Movie?????

Hi there everyone,

Last week I read an article online about a company, SRG Films, who are interested in adapting the book ‘Ring of Hell: The Story of Chris Benoit’ and making it into a movie.

“The film will be produced by SRG Films head Dale Alexander Carnegie and is written by Sarah Coulter.”

Apparently, it will cover the struggles that Chris Benoit had throughout his life in professional wrestling.

Chris Benoit has become a poster child for everything that’s wrong with professional wrestling and Sarah’s terrific script captures his struggles and the many factors that lead to the deaths of three people. People immediately point to steroids, never thinking about the brain trauma these wrestlers can, and do, incur in their profession, nor do they consider the rigorous schedule that keeps them working even when they shouldn’t be. The Benoit story is one that needs to be brought into the light.”

I do personally agree with that statement. I do believe that the situation needs to be brought to the forefront. It’s a very serious and I do think it may cause some controversy due to the sensitivity of the issues surrounding the whole Chris Benoit ‘weekend’ as I call it.

I honestly can’t wait to see how this works out and can’t wait to see the movie if and when it comes out…..

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Some gossip that I read somewhere.....

As reported earlier today, The Undertaker won the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell In A Cell today. Apparently, there is a reason that CM Punk didn't retain his title. It is being said that there has been an incident during an overseas tour and now he is in major trouble backstage. The source says that there will be more to this story when it is known.
I wonder what he could've done that a). Has got him in trouble backstage and b). has got him in so much trouble that they gave the Undertaker the title. I thought it was a bit weird that after reading in places that the Undertaker is still injured and isn't a hundred percent and all that that they would give him the title but oh well. I guess there is alot more then what meets the eye in some situations.

There has been some concern for sometime about the whereabouts and the condition of Marty Wright (The Boogeyman). He has no showed some events that he was scheduled to perform at and he won't answer his manager nor his friend Booker T. There is concern for him and his well being and everyone is beginning to worry.
I'm worried about the poor thing. I don't know the situation and I don't know him as a person but still. Weird as I think. I would like to think that he is ok and that he is still alive and healthy but I can't help but think otherwise. We would've heard something by now I would imagine. We will have to wait and see about this situation.

A situation that does affect me personally is that King V, known to WWE fans (such as myself) as Viscera or Big Daddy V, has pulled out of the upcoming HULKAMANIA tour. Apparently, he has been offered a movie roll and therefore won't be wrestling.
I am not terribly upset about this but still. I am a firm believer if you commit to something then thats it but I guess in this situation it's a tad different. HULKAMANIA or movie........what one would you all chose?????? Let me know......

Something else distantly related to the upcoming HULKAMANIA tour. Ric Flair's ex-wife has come out against his decision to wrestle in this tour.

“I’m very disappointed,The WrestleMania and the Hall of Fame was so unbelievable and it was such a proud moment. No matter what I’ve been through with him, I was really, really proud to be part of that. It’s really unfortunate that he’s coming back under these circumstances, because that should have been the last day he wrestled. It was phenomenal and he should have been proud of that and it should have stayed that way.”

I must say, for the record, I don't agree with the special moment (I for one was jumping around the house overjoyed at the fact that Shawn Michaels had retired Ric Flair) but I do agree. It was something that was billed as THE LAST TIME that he would wrestle and I did read somewhere as well that he promised Shawn that he would not wrestle again and that that was his last match ever and now he goes and does this! He's a promise breaker and personally, I can't wait to go to this tour and boo Ric, I can't wait!
