Hi there everyone,
Some news that has put me in better spirits today is the fact that The Miz! (Mike Mizanin) is set to star in the new WWE Film ‘Marine: Homefront’. It’s the third movie in the ‘Marine’ franchise with John Cena and Ted Dibiase starring in the first two.
There were other names that were considered for the part such as CM Punk, JTG, Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
Cena was considered to do the movie and it would’ve had a storyline that he would pick up where the first Marine movie left off, but as noted, it didn’t come to fruition.
YAHOO! I am now so super stoked! This has made my day! I think it’s about time that Miz got to do a movie and he has come from a background of media (Real World and Tough Enough) so I’m suprised that it has taken this long for him to get into the movie scene. Good luck to him and I know that I will definately be seeing this one (I still have the first Marine on DVD in the plastic cover, never been watched, and I have seen the second one and it’s not that bad.)

Alberto Del Rio and The Miz backstage.....
Hi there again everyone,
I have some news that I wanted to share with you guys about the Miz and Alberto Del Rio.
I'll start with Alberto first....
The feeling backstage with some of his co-workers is that Alberto off-putting in the way that he portrays himself. He has been known to show himself as what I can gather as a 'backstage politician' and he walks around like a superstar. There is also a bit of doubt as to how over he is due to the way he has been recieved in the matches and promos, which aren't very well. However, according to reports, Del Rio has the company officials onside "....because he's bilingual, tall and has a 'great movie star look.' " His push for being a two-time WWE-Champion is also because the company wants to push more Hispanic stars due to the uncertainty of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.
The Miz is also not garnering any good feelings backstage either. Many did speculate it was due to the incident on RAW last week regarding R-Truth, however, that seems not to be the case. Reports say that the feeling is that Miz is overly obnoxious and has to always be the center of attention
Miz has also managed to put Alberto Del Rio off as well.....
Honestly, I love both of these guys and I think that there is a little bit of a problem as to where their characters stop and their real personalities begin. I think also they were kind of thrust into the spotlight with no real idea of how to handle it and their just kind of expected to know what to do. I do hope that both of these two get the pushes that they deserve and I hope Miz is given his chance to shine once again! He deserves it! Actually, so does Alberto Del Rio!!!!!!!!

To many he is coming off as a mid-carder with no motivation and the company officials don't really have much reason to make him a top-tier talent like he was this time last year.
Miz has also managed to put Alberto Del Rio off as well.....
"This is not part of the show. I really dislike that guy. I've tried to punch him in the face several times, not in the ring I mean outside the ring, but he's just like a little girl, he's always running away from me.....There's a big difference between The Miz and I, I'm a real athlete, he's just a loud stupid little kid. He's probably one of those guys that was bullied when he was in school, that's the reason he's now oh so loud and he wants to get attention from everybody, but in my case he's the real deal.............he's fat and ugly."

Something I read today....
I read on one of the wrestling goss sites today about Miz and Maryse and I know I might be a bit slow but I thought I would share this with you....
"The Miz and Maryse were spotted at several events involving LA Fashion Week yesterday. As noted numerous times before, the duo is a real-life couple and have been for over a year now."
GRRRRR!!!!!! I thought as much but I had soooo wished it wasn't true. :( This isn't news that I wanted to hear today.
But I'll get over it. I'm sure I will. I think....... ;)

Wrestlemania 27 Matches and Picks
Hello there everyone,
Hope you are all doing well :) I'm particularly well. Wrestlemania 27 is on MONDAY! (Sunday for Americans) but silly me didn't ask for it off. I have to work 7-5 Monday so what I will do is see what I can get sent to my mobile and what not. Oh well....
Here are the matches and atm who my picks are for WRESTLEMANIA! (my picks are in bold)

Now, a co-worker of mine, well, in fact, 2 co-workers of mine, both believe that The Rock will interfere in the Miz/John Cena match and somehow manage to win the WWE Championship. I really, really, really hope that that doesn't happen because, as a MIZ fan, I would to see my fav lose his title when I don't think that he has held it for as long as he should. I believe he deserves it and should hold onto it for much longer.

Wrestlemania 27
Hello there everyone,
Sorry I haven't blogged for a very very long time. I just haven't had the patience or time to really commit to it. But I'm back now, and in time too to blog about the upcoming WRESTLEMANIA 27!!!! This years event is being held in Atlanta and the most (apparently) electrifying man in sports entertainment is hosting the event. None other then 'THE ROCK'! I must say, I don't like this turn of events. I don't particularly like The Rock so we shall see what he brings to the table. Some speculation among my peers at work is that he will interfere in a match and win a title and become a wrestling superstar again. We shall see if they are correct or not (I hope he doesn't).
Anyway, the matches that have been announced so far are as follows.....
And when I said about my co-workers speculating on The Roch interefering in a match, they think due to the issues that he has had with both challenger and champion that he will interfere in the Miz vs. Cena match. I really hope he doesn't. I would love it if the Miz retained at Wrestlemania. I love the Miz, he's my fav in WWE and I hope he holds the title for a bit longer. I'd hate for him to lose it :(
Anyway, I will give my picks closer to the date (hopefully) and until then....
