WWE Releases……

Howdy there everyone,

Well, the ‘yearly cleansing’ by the WWE has begun with several talents in the developmental territory being let go…
Some of the casualties from last week were…

  • Derrick Bateman
  • Briley Pierce
  • Sakamoto
  • Audrey Marie

Derrick Bateman and Briley Pierce are the surprises for me so far. I liked Derrick back when he was on NXT and when I didn’t see him for ages I was wondering why. Now I know. And as for Briley, you would think that Dolph (his real-life brother) would stick in there and help him. It does surprise me though.

According to sources (other ‘dirt sheets’) WWE will be releasing more talent soon due to recruiting more talent for their new Performance Centre that opens on July 1st. The feeling is that they are trying to get rid of the wrestlers who have spent alot of time there without any improvement. Which is sad because, as some people have been saying, there are alot of guys on the main roster at WWE who really don’t deserve to be there………not naming any names………

This is just another way of showing really how this business works. Sad really but I guess that’s just how it goes. Good luck to everyone who got the ‘future endeavoured’ talk……

Anyway, I’ve got to love you all and leave you. Have fun and take care.

Possible releases soon???

Hi there everyone,

With the release of Trent Baretta last week I thought I would take this opportunity to take a look at the current WWE roster and see who is possibly at risk of being released this year.

I did a post last year Releases=soon? where I put down who I thought was most at risk. Some of them have been released so I’ll just go through that list….

  • Alex Riley
  • Evan Bourne
  • JTG
  • Mason Ryan
  • Michael McGuillicutty
  • Rey Mysterio
  • Brie Bella
  • Kharma
  • Nikki Bella
  • Alberto Del Rio
  • Camacho
  • Christian
  • Darren Young
  • Ezekial Jackson
  • Heath Slater
  • Hunico
  • Jinder Mahal
  • Johnny Curtis
  • Sin Cara
  • Ted Dibiase
  • Titus O’Neil
  • Trent Barreta
  • Wade Barrett
  • Yoshi Tatsu
  • Alicia Fox
  • Kaitlyn
  • Layla
  • Natalya
  • Tamina
  • Ricardo Rodriguez
  • Maxine
  • Derrick Bateman
  • Zack Ryder
  • Aksana
  • Curt Hawkins
  • Santino Marella
  • David Otunga
  • Jack Swagger
  • Great Khali
  • Justin Gabriel

Now, for the color coding for you all….

Purple means that they are safe as/been featured on the shows recently…
Red means they are in danger of being released this year
Orange means that they are in a relative ‘safe zone’ but not out of the woods yet….
The ones in normal colour are the ones that I’m not sure about whether or not they’re safe and lastly….
The ones with the strikethrough have already been released.

So there we have it. If you don’t agree with my list. Let me know what you think….

Have fun and take care everyone Smile

WWE has come to terms with the release of Trent Barreta today. Apparently, rumour going round is that there are more releases coming so we shall see what happens.

Have fun and take care.

Future Endeavours List of 2012

Howdy there everyone,

I was looking at one of my fav websites the other day EWrestlingNews and I came across this little gem. It shows all the superstars who were Future Endeavored in 2012 and I must say. I still can’t believe some of them. It’s gonna be interesting to see who gets this news in 2013. I know that there are a couple that I would really like gone but I guess we shall have to wait and see.
Anyway, here is a list of all the future endeavours for 2012.

  1. Andy Leavine (Most recent Tough Enough Winner)-April 2012
  2. Goldust-April 24
  3. Edge-April 30
  4. Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie)-April 30
  5. Tom Prichard (FCW Trainer)-May 30
  6. Maxine-June 28
  7. Armando Estrada- July 2
  8. Kharma-July 24
  9. Abraham Washington-August 10
  10. Chris Jericho-August 20
  11. Tyler Reks-August 21
  12. Kelly Kelly-September 28
  13. Beth Phoenix-October 29

That’s actually quite a list when you write it down. Some of which were more sad then others when they left (Edge being the perfect example of that! Sad smile). I guess we shall see if 2013 is a better year for talent or not…..

Anyway, I’ve gotta go.

Have fun and take care.

Releases=soon?

Hi there everyone,
I was reading on one of my favorite websites about wrestling and there was an article on there about WWE and their annual releasing of talent.
The article in question is….
“Among the talents, there is a lot of concerns over releases since this is the time of year that they tend to come. Several bios were removed from WWE.com, like Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins, who are playing up a firing angle from NXT. According to a top star, if you did not appear on WrestleMania or the European tour, you should be concerned about your future.”
Now, I went and had a look at the superstars on the WWE Wikipedia page and I went through and highlighted all the stars that participated at Wrestlemania 28 and also the stars who debuted the shows following WM 28.
Which given my powers of deduction I got these stars who “should be concerned about your future.”……
  • Alex Riley
  • Evan Bourne*
  • JTG
  • Mason Ryan
  • Michael McGuillicutty
  • Rey Mysterio*
  • Brie Bella
  • Kharma
  • Nikki Bella
  • Alberto Del Rio
  • Camacho
  • Christian
  • Darren Young
  • Ezekial Jackson
  • Heath Slater
  • Hunico
  • Jinder Mahal
  • Johnny Curtis
  • Sin Carar
  • Ted Dibiase*
  • Titus O’Neil
  • Trent Barreta
  • Wade Barretta
  • Yoshi Tatsu
  • Alicia Fox
  • Kaitlyn
  • Layla
  • Natalya
  • Tamina
  • Ricardo Rodriguez
  • Maxine
  • Derrick Bateman
*-out injured
I can only see a select few of these actually being released and normally the purge takes out some of the stars from FCW and also a couple of refs and backstage personnel. There has been one casualty so far and that is Andy Levine, the winner of the last Tough enough. So I guess we shall have to wait and see what happens.
Have fun and take care.

3 TNA Releases

Hi there everyone,
Today there have been 3 releases from TNA. 3 of which aren’t actually all that new and have only now been officially recognized.
The wrestlers released were……
  • Jackie Moore
  • Jesse Neal
  • Toxxin
Jackie Moore’s contract was left to expire after her and ODB came back. She was not really used on TV much during that storyline anyway.
Jesse Neal is no big surprise as it is well known that he didn’t want to relocate to OVW as the money there was ‘not enough to live on’ and many expected that when he was released, his real life fiancĂ©e, Toxxin, would leave too.
So that's the big news coming out of TNA today so far.
Until next time,
See ya lata!

Released Talents this morning

Good morning there everyone,
Some news for this morning is that some talents were released as of today and Monday, one quit.
The talent were
  • DH Smith
  • Chris Masters
  • Vladmir Kozlov
  • Melina
  • Gail Kim (quit)

Now, apparently, Gail quit WWE earlier in the week and some would say that this would explain her very quick exit under the bottom rope of the Divas Battle Royale (which Beth Phoenix won). She hadn't been used much at all since returning to WWE after a stint in TNA (where she was the TNA's Knockout Champion!) and so her quitting is not much of a surprise.
Mind you, none of these are really surprises to me.
In one of my previous blogs 'Future Endeavors' , I put forth names of people on the roster who I thought would be given the boot sooner rather then later. All five of these superstars have their names on my list :( Sad but that's just how it works.

Anyway, I will let you all sleep in.
Until next time,
You know you love me

Released wrestlers this week, Jeff Hardy update and Eddie Guerrero tribute

Hi there again everyone,
Well, this week has seen some wrestlers announce some retirement plans, some be released per stipulations and some just let go.
TNA earlier this week had lost Sabu due to the stipulation at 'Turning Point' which was whichever team out of EV2.0 and Fortune won, the winning team would get to chose who was sent packing. Just so happened that the day before Turning Point that there was some news that TNA was releasing Sabu as the creative team at TNA had nothing for him and so he was chosen by Fortune to go from TNA.
Raven, also from EV2.0 was released this week. He had a match on imPact this week that if he couldn't win the TNA World Championship that he would leave and what happens but he lost. So bye bye Raven.
A shock this week, well, I found it shocking anyway, was that Eric Young was released. Apparently, there hadn't been a deal agreement made at the time but not to worry because I found out earlier that he and TNA have come to an agreement and therefore he is still with the company. YAY.
TNA has also lost another Knockout in Lacey Von Erich (no offense but ABOUT TIME!)
She wrote on her Twitter that "I decided to respectfully leave TNA today," and "I want to try new things, like be a sports host or something :) Love ya'll!"
I honestly say good luck to her. I know she has a family and I wish her all the best.

Jeff Hardy is due back in North Carolina's Superior Court on December 8th for another hearing into his September 2009 drug arrest. I really hope that he doesn't get thrown into jail. He has a partner and a new baby to support. Not to mention that he is the TNA World Champion.

And now for my Eddie Guerrero tribute....

R.I.P EDDIE GUERRERO
5 YEARS AGO WE LOST A WONDERFUL PERSON AND A FANTASTIC PERFORMER.
I HOPE THAT YOU ARE IN A FANTASTIC PLACE AND KNOWING THAT YOU ARE MISSED EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY. WE MISS YOU EDDIE!
*FOREVER REMEMBERED*

This weeks news

Hello there my fellow peeps,
Sorry I haven't been updating you as much as I should but I am just in the mood for it atm. Rhino's theme music I have found and it does get you in the mood for some fast typing. Yay.

Anyway, news for this past week.....

WWE has released several talent this week (quite sad :( ) Here is a list of who they released...
  • Mickie James
  • Katie Lee Burchill
  • Shelton Benjamin
  • Kung Fu Naki
  • Jimmy Wang Yang
  • Slam Master J
  • Mike Knox
Quite sad really when you think about it. Or I think so anyway. I found Mickie James and Shelton the shock for me. But when I read about Mickie James it didn't come as quite a shock. She had put a few people off her in the past year. Here's a list of reasons for her firing.....
  • Arrived late for the buses on the European tour, causing  traffic hold ups
  • Weight issues (Piggy James!!!!)
  • Sub-standard performances
  • Music Aspirations
I do feel sorry for her. Maria, who was released earlier this year, also copped it because she had music aspirations (her debut EP 'Sevin Sins' is available in the iTunes store! Just got it!). Substandard performances......I remember watching, and I had to force myself to watch, her match against Maryse at The Great American Bash. It was terrible! I think that was also partly the other party's fault but still. I do feel sorry for her. But hopefully she can concentrate on her music career now. Hopefully.
Melina has written about the situation stating ""I see a lot of tweets regarding Mickie Katie and Shelton. Does anyone remember how I cried when I was drafter from Raw to SD? I didn't want to leave my friends. I love them dearly. Now not having them there for out adventures... It breaks my heart 10 times worse! I don't know and I don't understand but I will always love and be there for all of them. They are my friends for all eternity no matter what. hope that everyone shows their support and encouragement. Show love and how their work made u Feel. They are exceptional people and in the world of wrestling, they can be back on the roster easily like Mercury & Crime Tyme. No one will ever know the reasons why or think it makes sense but the wwe are like our parents... They did it for a reason. It's just not known to us. But my heart is broken. This is my family."

As I reported earlier this year, Joey Mercury has now fully returned to WWE. He competed in a dark match, which he lost, against Shelton Benjamin (released this week!). He is also bald and was seen wearing shorts and a look similar to John Cena's.

BATISTA IS AN ANGRY ANIMAL! Batista had been publicly named to star in the WWE movie 'Killing Karma' and has all of a sudden been pulled and replaced by his one time mentor Triple H. A source has said that some people feel like he was pulled because he is yet to sign a deal with WWE to renew his contract and this is why. He is also said to be very angry about it (has every right to be!). Should be interesting to see what happens from here.....grrrr

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Hope you have fun....

Until next time, you know you love me xoxo

Releases within companies

Hello there my fellow readers,
Just some news about releases in this blog for tonight.

WWE wise, there is a feeling that there will be at least another 2/3 more releases to be made. They could be made as early as this week but there has been people with power trying to save certain people. Some people did try and save Shane Helms, who along with Maria, Paul Burchill, Charlie Haas and Scott Armstrong have been released so far this year. My sources won't say any names but say that there have been some names mentioned for release but have not not done it as of yet.

In TNA, major release (well, to me anyway), is the Original TNA Knockout Traci Brooks. There are no details of why she was released but it has been speculated that it was because creative had nothing for her.
This would come as a blow to her I'd imagine. She and her real-life husband Kazarian have had their personal lives scrutinized because it came to the forefront that Frankie had been having extra-marital affairs with many women. Mind you, Traci's life also came under the microscope when it was found out that she had an affair with one Robert Roode a few years ago.

Another big release although not really confirmed is Awesome Kong. This was reported when Kong wrote on her twitter page "I'd like to thank @tnaDixie and all of the employees at TNA for wishing me the very best in my future endeavours.". Kong's knockout page has not been removed from the TNA site and her photo is still on the Roster page. Who knows what will come of this story.

Well, thats it on releases from both companies, for now anyway.
Have a good night and until next time, you know you love me xoxo

Little bit of news to get you over....

A few pieces of random bits that I have decided to blog about here today...

First of is....
Alissa Flash, most commonly known as her other character name Raisha Saeed, has been released from TNA. She had not been seen on television for a little while.

Awesome Kong has apparently asked for her release from TNA. She asked for her release a week or two before the altercation with Bubba (for more click here). However, there has been an update today in which Kong states that she is talking about her position in the company with TNA management today. So we shall see what comes of that when the time is right...

About a week ago (I think????) Eric Escobar was released from WWE. Reasons for his release have come to forefront today that he was apparently a "major headcase" even while he was back in FCW and apparently this attitude started to rub off on his tag team partner Primo Colon.
When he was called up to WWE, there was alot of head scratching as to why he had been called up and not some of the other talent.

I will leave you with that for now. And for now, good night.
You know you love me xoxo

Wrestling Gossip

Just some wrestling gossip for this night in July.....

  • There is a rumor that the wrestler, formally known as Eugene, has signed back on with WWE to help train some of the younger, less experienced wrestlers. Eugene was released a couple of years ago along with Chris Masters.

  • TNA has released one of the former knockouts. Jacqueline Moore has been released after not being on TV for quite some time. Rumor has it that she was taken off so that she could be used behind the scenes but obviously that wasn't the case. Fortunately for her, if she wanted to return to wrestling, she would be able to but for now TNA and Jacqueline have parted ways.

  • Still on TNA, it has been confirmed that TNA has signed former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley. There has been speculation for quite some time that Lashley would make an appearance at TNA and now it has been confirmed. The contract has been signed! FINALLY!!!!

Anyway, thats all for now. I will write more when I have some more energy.
For now, Good Night xoxo

Gossip: The Wrestling Game

Just some wrestling gossip

First of all, I would like to say something very important:

R.I.P MICHAEL JACKSON AND FARAH FAWCETT

Both of these people died on Friday. Michael is believed to have had a lethal combination of medications in his system (seems to be the way these days, remember, Heath Ledger) and Farah had been battling cancer for the past few years. As I said though, R.I.P to the both of them and hopefully they have a good afterlife as well.

Anyway, getting onto some wrestling news. Candice Michelle was released (I think) last week. She hadn't been seen since Wrestlemania and many believe it was the state of her body that got her released. It has been said that when she turned up to a TV taping she was less then "Diva" like. She didn't have a naturally thin body and always had to work very hard to keep in the shape that she did. Because of the fact that many of the Diva's are hired because of their looks, Candice's look made it look like she wanted to leave and that she was ready for it.

This is, to me, really silly. Why get rid of someone who was improving her wrestling skills. Yes, in my mind she was injury prone but still. Mind you, I haven't seen the pics of her yet where she is apparently huge but hey. Who knows.

What else is news.....Mr McMahon let Donald Trump buy RAW! That was a surprise. Not a very nice one but still a surprise. Mind you, because of the fact that Donald Trump was refunding all of the people in attendance's money on the next weeks RAW, Mr McMahon came out and brought back RAW from Donald Trump. It is worth noting though that the surprise of Donald Trump did bring RAW into some very high ratings, which is exactly what all members of WWE want.

Anyways, thats all that I will report on atm. Look out for more from me
Bye bye xoxo

Wrestling Gossip Update

Here’s some wrestling rumors for this weekend.

First of all, we now have official confirmation from WWE as to why Umaga was released. Early speculation was confirmed that Umaga had in fact failed a drug test but he had also refused to go to rehab. According to the source, this is unusual as this was his second strike.

This has made me very upset to hear that someone in this position refuses to get help for something that has now cost him his job. I know that my job, I would never do anything to jeopadise it but hey, I guess for some people they think that that is the way to go. What a great role model.....NOT!

Apparently, we will be seeing the last of Rey Mysterio. He has put in notice to WWE for his release which judging by the amount of gossip going out and about at the moment, will be soon.

This is not something that I really wanted to hear. I like Rey and I think that he is one of the main stars on the show and I really can't imagine a show without him. Mind you, I'm sure that I said that about Joey Styles and Taz when they were ring announcers and look where that got them. Who knows what the world is coming too.....

WWE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW RING ANNOUNCER!!!! This just seems silly to me when they have a really good ring announcer in Lilian but hey. They have done some weird things lately. The advert goes along the lines of they want someone, a singer, female in their 20's/30's who is young, attractive to sing the national anthem and be a regular announcer. You have to specify if you have appeared any show like American Idol.....

I'm upset by this. I like Lilian. I think she does a great job and I would hate to see her being replaced for reasons that are not her own. I don't want Lilian to go. I think she should stay there...She is fine where she is.

The UK Sub has released a report in the last few days stating that Tommy Dreamer has signed a new 1 year contract with WWE. He apparently had different options with TNA, WWE and apparently some of the smaller independent scenes but stayed with the WWE because he thought it would be safer.
Honestly, I am so glad that Tommy is still with ECW. To me, he represents what ECW is all about and embodies it all and it wouldn't be the same without him, it really wouldn't. I know I definately said that CM Punk embodied ECW and that I didn't like the fact that he was drafted but I have grown out of Punk. I will never forgive him for taking Jeff's title.

Bigger news is that Randy Orton is apparently ONE strike away from being fired for failing drug tests. The source, although couldn't quote exact dates, said that Orton had one suspension in 2007 and one in 2008. I do remember that he had one because he was among a few superstars, one of them being 'The Masterpiece' Chris Masters. There were some more at the time.
This is something that honestly, doesn't surprise me. I'm not a big fan of Orton and never have been. He's one of those that I can't honestly connect with and thats a little disturbing. As I said with the Umaga case, why would you jeoperdize your job? Why? I don't see the point. Especially Randy, he has a family legacy that he is there to represent and he's doing this? I'm not too sure on this but I'm glad not alot of the younger generation look up to him. He's a bad influence.

Wrestling Goss yet again!

Well, time for some wrestling gossip I guess....

First on the agenda is Vickie Guerrero. Tonight on RAW, Vickie resigned from her General Manager position because she didn't want to suffer any more humiliation from the fans, especially after her loss to "Santina" Marella in the Hog Pen match yesterday at Extreme Rules. After this announcement Edge, her kayfabe husband came out and divorced her saying that he was only using her for her power.
THANK GOODNESS!!!!! I hated them being married. The real reason is that Vickie in real life, widow of Eddie Guerrero (RIP Eddie) wants to spend more time with her kids and so she put in notice.
I will miss the tantrum throwing and screaming. That was classic. Lol.

Another release today. Umaga was released from WWE. No news yet about why but it is a bit suspicious because he was used in Extreme Rules, losing a Samoan Strap match to CM Punk. Who knows. I will see what I can find out on that.

In lesser news, Batista will again be out of action due to a diagnosed torn tricep. The injury occured prior to his match at Extreme Rules and so it was written into the storyline that he would be beaten by Legacy today and was taken out in an ambulance. This in turn marked the return of The Game, Triple H, who has been out for a while.

And in the last of the news for today, next week there will be a 3 Hour RAW. This is a "Three for all" where all three brands are to participate. All three championships on RAW will be contested and a new general manager will be announced. Lets hope it's not Mike Adamle although I must say I kind of grew to like him as GM....Better then Vickie I must say. Lol. Who would you like to see as GM? Rumur has it that this will be a chance for Ric Flair to become GM. Not sure how that would work but hey, worse has happened.

Anyways, thats all for now.

Adios xoxo

Wrestling releases

Well, in wrestling there are a few releases today. Here are the names of the wrestlers and referees that have been released....
  • Kevin Thorn (ECW)
  • Val Venis (?)
  • Bam Neely (ECW)
  • D-LO Brown (Raw)
  • Jimmy Korderas (referee)
  • Kevin Keenan (referee)
  • Mike Posey (referee)
  • Tim White (producer)
I'm not happy now that I know that Bam Neely is gone. The others I can understand but Bam I can't. Maybe I just like the name Bam but Bam Neely, in my mind, will be missed.
Also, there has been alot of talent releasing lately. I know it's cost cutting and because, creatively, the team can't come up with anything for the guys and gals but there has just been too many releases, in my mind. I don't know.
Anyway, I just thought that I would write that quickly because I have to get ready for work now and I need to pack up my lunch stuff. See ya xxx

Wrestling news November issue

Well, I haven't written in this blog for a little while and while I have no news of entertainment, besides Paris Hilton getting a new bestie in Katie Price aka Jordan, I have some wrestling news.

In the past week, there have been 6 firings from WWE. The talent, I do believe, were expected in a way but anywho. The superstars we will be seeing no more of are...
  • Super Crazy- had problems with creative team I think was the reason given.
  • Paul London- was nothing for him creatively.
  • Chuck Palumbo-again, nothing for him and gimmick a bit "off" (my words, not the sources!).
  • Lena Yada-used once or twice on TV but thats it. So much for the Diva Search contest. LOL
  • Elijah Burke-Nothing for him creatively
  • Kenny Dykstra- had a bad attitude.

These superstars were rarely used although I do say that I felt sorry for Paul London. I really thought that I would see something for him but obviously not :( Not kewl at all. Now there is really no chance of Brian Kendrick getting rid of his new gimmick and getting back with Paul to get back to the great tag-team champs that we all knew and loved. Well, I did anyway... LOL.

What else is news in wrestling.... Well, there are reports that Christian Cage will be leaving TNA after their next big show and considering coming back to WWE. Now the reason he left in the first place was that there were problems, I think, with where he was within the company and how much he was being paid. I think they were the probs anyways.
So there are rumours which have been going around for a while now that he will come back to WWE and that he will reunite with Edge and it will mark the in-ring return of Edge who has been out since his match with Undertaker... I don't know. This is one I will believe when I see it. As I said, the rumour has been going round for a while and I would like him to come back but I would like Tyson Tomko to come back with him too. :( However I know that that won't happen. We will have to wait and see....
