Released wrestlers this week, Jeff Hardy update and Eddie Guerrero tribute

Hi there again everyone,
Well, this week has seen some wrestlers announce some retirement plans, some be released per stipulations and some just let go.
TNA earlier this week had lost Sabu due to the stipulation at 'Turning Point' which was whichever team out of EV2.0 and Fortune won, the winning team would get to chose who was sent packing. Just so happened that the day before Turning Point that there was some news that TNA was releasing Sabu as the creative team at TNA had nothing for him and so he was chosen by Fortune to go from TNA.
Raven, also from EV2.0 was released this week. He had a match on imPact this week that if he couldn't win the TNA World Championship that he would leave and what happens but he lost. So bye bye Raven.
A shock this week, well, I found it shocking anyway, was that Eric Young was released. Apparently, there hadn't been a deal agreement made at the time but not to worry because I found out earlier that he and TNA have come to an agreement and therefore he is still with the company. YAY.
TNA has also lost another Knockout in Lacey Von Erich (no offense but ABOUT TIME!)
She wrote on her Twitter that "I decided to respectfully leave TNA today," and "I want to try new things, like be a sports host or something :) Love ya'll!"
I honestly say good luck to her. I know she has a family and I wish her all the best.

Jeff Hardy is due back in North Carolina's Superior Court on December 8th for another hearing into his September 2009 drug arrest. I really hope that he doesn't get thrown into jail. He has a partner and a new baby to support. Not to mention that he is the TNA World Champion.

And now for my Eddie Guerrero tribute....

R.I.P EDDIE GUERRERO
5 YEARS AGO WE LOST A WONDERFUL PERSON AND A FANTASTIC PERFORMER.
I HOPE THAT YOU ARE IN A FANTASTIC PLACE AND KNOWING THAT YOU ARE MISSED EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY. WE MISS YOU EDDIE!
*FOREVER REMEMBERED*

Jeff Hardy update

Hello there everyone,

Here is an update to the current Jeff Hardy arrest thats been happening....

Jeff Hardy had a trial on March 17on four cases in the Superior Court of Moore County in North Carolina.
Currently he is facing charges of:
  • Felony Druf Trafficking
  • 2 Counts of felony possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance or drugs
  • Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Conspiracy to traffic opium for trafficking four or more grams but less that fourteen grams of opium/heroin
A new court date (10th May, 2010) has been set though after the judge agreed to Hardy's defense teams request for a continuance. He is free to work with TNA, having recently signed a 1 year deal with them where he, his girlfriend and Shannon Moore will basically travel together and appear together.

Here is a statement from the court that was from September 11, 2009

Sheriff Lane Carter reports the arrest of an individual on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills, and possession of anabolic steroids. Sheriff Carter reported a joint investigation conducted by officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, Moore County Sheriff's Office Select Enforcement Unit, and Fayetteville Police Department led to the arrest.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence located at [Address Deleted] near Cameron, North Carolina. During the search officers located and seized approximately 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills ( Soma's are non-controlled prescription pills), 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine, and items of drug paraphernalia. Vicodin and anabolic steroids are included in Schedule III within the North Carolina Controlled Substances Act. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $2,500.00.
