News coming out of today is that Taz has quit the company!
Apparently, the rumor is that it has to do with a pay dispute that is going on within the company. Taz wasn't happy with the way things were being handled and didn't come to a planned voice over session this past Thursday.
He has removed any mention of TNA from his Twitter account. Although he has sent out several tweets regarding his departure from the company.
In regards to who will replace Taz, there is speculation that it could be none other then Al Snow (Seriously!) who was recently given a tryout as an announcer. I guess we shall have to wait and see what happens from here I suppose.
I think that that is a mediocre loss for TNA and it's not really looking good for the company since I believe that they have already lost Samoa Joe this year :( Just a waiting game I think to see how this all goes from here.....

WWE has come to terms with the release of Trent Barreta today. Apparently, rumour going round is that there are more releases coming so we shall see what happens.

Angelina Love news

Breaking news today is that Angelina Love has been granted her release from TNA.
She said on her Twitter account, "To all my wonderful fans, just want to let you know I have been granted my release from TNA. It was completely amicable parting of ways and I want to thank TNA and all of its employees for the wonderful journey I’ve had there over the years. Now I’m on to the next amazing chapter of my life! If you are looking to book me please contact John at john@spectacularsignings.com Thank you so much!"
OMG! I did not see this coming. Not in the slightest. I guess when she broke away from The Beautiful People (with Velvet) she didn't really regain the success that she has had in the past. Such a shame for TNA. They are losing talent fast with a list that already includes Alex Shelley and Matt Morgan (Ric Flair doesn't count because he was being a DIVA!). I wish Angelina the best and I hope that she succeeds in whatever it is that is next for her.

News coming out of today is that when his contract is finished, Alex Shelley will be leaving TNA. 
His leaving is kind of posing two questions to me……a). What will happen with Chris Sabin/Motorcity Machine Guns and b). Will he jump ship to WWE?

Ric Flair news :D
Hi there everyone,
News coming out of today is that Ric Flair has QUIT TNA Wrestling!!!!!!!! There have been many issues with Flair ever since he first started in TNA. His conduct outside the ring had been nothing less then embarrassing for the company and many were describing the situation as “….being at the point it’s not worth keeping Flair around.”
Flair is known for his love of having a drink or two and it got to the point where he was even been banned from the Hard Rock Cafe in Citiwalk due to his drunken behaviour.
Despite his high price tag, Flair repeatedly has not been able to cover bar tabs and so TNA management has gotten calls from the hotels/bars seeking payment on behalf of the Nature Boy.
Many within TNA also feel that Flair, who demands a high price to appear, hasn’t been giving the performances that draw ratings or money for the company. It puts the whole brand of TNA in a predicament when their top paid performers don’t live up to the expectations of the company and the fans (Think Matt Hardy and Chris Harris…….)
One of the many other problems has been his age and what he could and could not do. The network had said that Ric was to keep his clothes on and not have him near nude or in his wrestling gear and bleeding at his age which is basically a way of saying that they want him to only do promo’s and and help out backstage.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this news. I’m not a Nature Boy fan and I don’t think that he brought anything to the table in terms of TNA. He didn’t help anybody and he certainly hasn’t helped himself. To me, he’s aging DISGRACEFULLY and I’m sure that he will be missed by some, but certainly not me

Kevin Nash Tweets Strange

Kevin Nash has been tweeting alot lately (I didn't realize he knew how to tweet!) but more specifically about the WWE Hall of Fame. Here is what he said...
Don’t need the stress! What does he have to stress about! This just seems bizarre to me and it also tells me that he really needs to get off Twitter and spend some time in the real world.“HOF means nothing to me, If I Die before it, I’ve asked my wife to pass. Nothing against it or WWE, but if Pete Rose ain’t in Cooperstown.
I don’t need it to validate my life. I wake every morning to the sight of the ocean. For a Detroit boy I’m already in.

TNA News this week
Hi there everyone,
Some news that may not come as a shock to anyone is that Brian Kendrick has been released from TNA. He hasn’t been used on TV since losing the X-Division title to Austin Aries back last year.
This doesn’t really shock me because really he came in as an X-Division star and was put into a position of gaining the title. I do think though that it is a waste of talent as any X-Division stars in TNA is a good thing. That’s what makes TNA so kewl to me is the fact that they have these guys and they are willing to do anything and everything to get a title opportunity.
Mind you, another TNA star that has taken a break and that star is Shannon Moore.
Since the departure of Jesse Neal from TNA, Shannon has been used sparingly on TNA and he has decided to take a break in order to focus on his tattoo shops….

4 Talents to decide....

Thought I'd finally get round to doing some blogging after an absence (sorry :( ).
Anyway, 4 former WWE talents have had their 90 day release clause finish and they are now free, if they want to, to go to TNA. Melina, Chris Master, David Hart Smith and Vladimir Kozlov are now able to try out for TNA if they choose to. Chris Masters made a comment on Twitter about whether he was choosing to or not as has Melina.
I think Chris Masters would be great there with the bodybuilder types (Rob Terry, Scott Steiner) and he can actually wrestle too which is great. I really don't Melina there. I don't think she really does anything out of the ordinary. DH Smith and Vladimir I don't think would join TNA anyway. My understanding is that DH Smith is more interested in MMA rather then wrestling and I haven't heard anything from Vlad.

John Morrison expected release soon

Some news coming from the WWE side of things today.
After Monday's RAW match which lasted less then one minute with Christian gaining the victory, there is some whispers going round that John Morrison may be looking for a new job sooner rather then later.
Many are saying that Melina and her relationship with Jon Morrison are what's causing him to be put on the back bench so to speak. One person took to twitter and asked Melina, "Will you stand trial for killing your bf's career?#prayforJoMo"
Melina responded (apparently via a private message) saying, "The WWE did it. I never did anything but stand by him through thick and thin. We shall all be so lucky as to have someone like that in our lives."
"John worked his ass off and did everything he was told. The blame shouldn't be put on me. Blame the WWE."
Some speculate that John Morrison is paying the price for outside issues and also for what happened during his relationship with Melina.
In 2005, JoMo allowed Melina to be involved in a sexual relationship with Batista while they were dating. Morrison is said to have been professional about it and this caused McMahon, the WWE CEO, to perceive Morrison as less of a man.
After Wrestlemania earlier this year, Trish Stratus went on a radio show and indicated that JoMo wasn't interested in wrestling with her during their match with Snooki. She basically confirmed the online reports going round at the time that he wasn't interested in listening to any of her ideas or any decisions that she made, and that when she went to give him a hug following the win, he gave her the cold shoulder. Many said at the time that the feeling was that he felt that Trish had taken Melina's spot at Wrestlemania and that he was being very unprofessional, especially since Stratus is very highly regarded amongst the WWE Universe.
More recently, Maria was on AfterBuzzTV.com this past week and when her co-host put forth the discussion of why Morrison and Drew McIntyre weren't recieving greater pushes, Maria said...

Daniel Bryan/Brian Danielsons release from WWE.....

As most of you, I'd imagine, would be aware, Daniel Bryan, one of the NXT rookies in season one, has been legitamitly released from the WWE. Many feel that this was caused by him trying to choke out Justin Roberts, which is a rule that was put into place after the TRAGEDY of the Chris Benoit incident back in 2007. Basically, it states that you cannot choke out someone with a tie or any other objects at any time which Bryan did and so, many speculate, thats why he was released.
Apparently, according to a source, Daniel was phoned up and released personally by Mr Vincent K. McMahon over the phone which has led many to speculate that there is more to the story then first thought.
Shawn Michaels however is said to be furious that Bryan was released. Michaels was Bryan's first wrestling trainer and was said to be furious when he heard that he had been fired.
Bryan also has the support of the WWE universe as they were chanting his name throughout the Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view this past week.

From what I have been reading on the internet over the last month or so, there have been some reports about superstars and knockouts/diva's going to be released or leaving.
Here are some names from TNA whom many believe will possibly leaving....
And from WWE, many believe that Batista and Rey Mysterio will be leaving quite soon. Batista, understandably, is said to be extremely annoyed as he was scheduled to be the star of an upcoming movie and was dumped at the last minute for his one-time mentor Triple H! Apparently management at WWE didn't feel that Batista should have the role, which is done through WWE, as he has not signed another deal after his current one ends.
Batista is also said to be listening to outside offers but many feel that he won't jump ship to TNA because they wouldn't be able to pay him what he makes right now. He is said to earn about 7 million a year and is also a very big spender. He is said to live like a rock star and has a pretty high quality house, a few cars and more. We shall see what happens on this front.
Rey Mysterio has apparently been making his voice heard about money (who doesn't?!?!?). He is not satisfied and many believe that that along with some injuries will be the ending for Rey Mysterio.
In reports recently, it appears that TNA are interested in recently released duo of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Both back in WWE were part of 'Team Angle' and TNA would like to try and replicate that with Kurt Angle being once again the mentor.
There is also talks that Team 3D (Brother Ray and Devon) want TNA to offer a fulltime contract to Brother Runt! On March 15, Brother Runt made his return for a one time appearance in a match against The Nasty Boys and Jimmy Hart.
I personally would like to see Brother Runt back. I think it would be a great addition to the roster and to Team 3D!
And lastly, in the last couple of weeks, Tony Atlas was released from the WWE.
We shall see what happens I guess.

First of all, I will start with the Nasty Boys. They have indeed been released although their profile is still yet to be taken off the TNA roster page. Apparently, Brian Knobbs got into a little altercation at a gathering where there were Spike TV executives and he upset a few people and that is the reasoning behind both Nasty Boys being released (strange I know but hey, can't do much). Jimmy Hart is still with TNA although it is unclear as to what he will be doing next.
Another release this week comes in the unliklely form of Christopher Daniels. He was seen at Ring Of Honor's 'Big Bang' PPV this week and this lead many people to question why he was there. The reasoning is that he was released on Wednesday from TNA and that is how he was able to be ROH.
Some of the released talent from TNA have said that they are very disappointed in the way that Dixie Carter has been talking to them when they are released. Some have 'compared' verbally what she has said and say that she is saying the same thing to all of them. Kind of like WWE and their wishing them well in their future endeavors.
And lastly for this post, many talent and crew backstage, when watching RVD and Jeff Hardy win a match recently, were upset when Eric Young came in and 'destroyed' the moment. Many people have said that although he is nice, he's nowhere near the level that they are at and many suspect that the reason that he gets more air time is because of his 'buddies' that he has higher in the chain at TNA.

We have a little news from WWE and TNA so let's get started.
First of all, the reason for Maria's release has become more 'solid' today. Apparently it has something with an interview that she did with 'The Sun' in January of this year.

A few people around the place are saying that WWE is not high on their stars getting deals from outside it's circle, stating what happened with Stacy Keibler. There are those stating that Vince has not been too high on her in recent meetings with others saying that after she got back from taping Celebrity Apprentice she had a change of attitude.

Hello there fellow readers,
Today is the 1st of March for 2010 and we have another new release for you today.
Charlie Haas has been released today :( There was a rumor I read awhile back that did speak of Charlie being released but officially, as of today, he is no longer part of WWE. At least, in my opinion, he has something to fall back on. He and his wife, Jackie Gayda-Haas, own a nutritional shop and have a couple of kids so that should take up most of his time. But, as WWE always says, good luck with your future endeavors.
There is talk amongst management in WWE to turn John Morrison heel (again!). They say that he has heaps of potential either as a face or as a heel.
Well, in one of my previous blogs (please click here) I talked about the fact that there was some talk about Joey Mercury coming back to WWE. Many sources are saying that he will be back shortly and that he has signed a deal but many people backstage with the company are saying that they are not aware of Joey being re-signed. We shall see when the time is right, I imagine, the re-debut of one Joey Mercury.
The last piece of news from the WWE side of things is that there is talks that good ol' Stone Cold Steve Austin will be the last guest host of RAW ever!. There is no one else mentioned after him and he is the last one before the Wrestlemania event this year and so that is why many have speculated that he's the last.
Personally, I don't really know what they would do for a General Manager of RAW should they stop the guest host segments. I like watching them and am still waiting for the ROCK to be a guest host. He did hint it so hopefully he will do it soon :(
Now, TNA news for today.
Apparently Eric Bischoff is high on the Orlando Jordan gimmick. Jordan's gimmick is of him as a bisexual (to which he is in real life) however, Eric thinks that 'less is more' with the gimmick and would like some aspects (such as the man/man kissing) to be toned down.

Today is the 1st of March for 2010 and we have another new release for you today.
Charlie Haas has been released today :( There was a rumor I read awhile back that did speak of Charlie being released but officially, as of today, he is no longer part of WWE. At least, in my opinion, he has something to fall back on. He and his wife, Jackie Gayda-Haas, own a nutritional shop and have a couple of kids so that should take up most of his time. But, as WWE always says, good luck with your future endeavors.
