Ric Flair news :D

Hi there everyone,

News coming out of today is that Ric Flair has QUIT TNA Wrestling!!!!!!!! There have been many issues with Flair ever since he first started in TNA. His conduct outside the ring had been nothing less then embarrassing for the company and many were describing the situation as “….being at the point it’s not worth keeping Flair around.
Flair is known for his love of having a drink or two and it got to the point where he was even been banned from the Hard Rock Cafe in Citiwalk due to his drunken behaviour.
Despite his high price tag, Flair repeatedly has not been able to cover bar tabs and so TNA management has gotten calls from the hotels/bars seeking payment on behalf of the Nature Boy.
Many within TNA also feel that Flair, who demands a high price to appear, hasn’t been giving the performances that draw ratings or money for the company. It puts the whole brand of TNA in a predicament when their top paid performers don’t live up to the expectations of the company and the fans (Think Matt Hardy and Chris Harris…….)
One of the many other problems has been his age and what he could and could not do. The network had said that Ric was to keep his clothes on and not have him near nude or in his wrestling gear and bleeding at his age which is basically a way of saying that they want him to only do promo’s and and help out backstage.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this news. I’m not a Nature Boy fan and I don’t think that he brought anything to the table in terms of TNA. He didn’t help anybody and he certainly hasn’t helped himself. To me, he’s aging DISGRACEFULLY and I’m sure that he will be missed by some, but certainly not me Smile

Anyway, ta ta for now.

Robert Roode Radio Interview

Hi there again everyone,

Last week, I was looking around at some of the ‘dirtsheets’ on the web and I came across an interview that Robert Roode did for ‘Monday Night Mayhem

Throughout the article he talks about Beer Money, his push against Booker T, Singles competition, the future, Ric Flair and the company’s investment.

He talks about when he first came to the company he was placed as the ‘bodyguard’ of Team Canada (awesome team Smile). Then they pushed him majorly as a singles competitor…

“….took me off on my own and put some high expectations on me being around the World Title picture. I got to be in the ring with some big names……

After Team Canada, Roode was placed into an angle with Booker T. After that they didn’t have anything for him and he was in real danger of being released.

I’m not going to make the mistake again of letting them not have anything for me. I’m going to make them have something for me….

Roode credits the creative team for putting him and James Storm together as Beer Money.

Honestly, it was only supposed to last for about three months. It lit a fire under both of us and we just told each other to make the best out of this and run with it. We did, and obviously it’s worked out great. Three years later and here we are as one of the most popular tag teams in professional wrestling today.

On working with Ric Flair, Roode says that he was so blessed to have worked with him both in a group and one on one.

Ric is 60 years old and he’s been around the block, but he can still go. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. He had an awesome match with Doug Williams over in England. If I have an opportunity to wrestle Ric, it would be a dream come true.

And lastly, he talks about TNA’s investment in his superstar potential.

Obviously I don’t want to disappoint anybody…….expect the unexpected. I was taught that you have to be different from everybody else in order to be successful in this business. You’re going to see Bobby Roode be his own person and become a superstar.

Now, for my personal opinion about Bobby Roode. I personally love Beer Money and I think that they are kind of the whole package of what a tag team should be.
There was talk lately of splitting up Beer Money and reuniting AMW but that never came to fruition because, when Chris Harris returned at Sacrifice this year, TNA officials felt that he was out of shape and didn’t get over as much as they would’ve liked. There is no talk of Harris returning so I don’t see that happening. I don’t know if I want Beer Money to break up. They just work so well together but I also don’t mind Bobby as a singles wrestler. I think he does well on his own. Mind you, I only know his singles character as one who berates and puts down women. Makes them sound like a stereotypical women who doesn’t stand up for herself.
But that’s just me Winking smile

Anyway, that is all for now,

Until next time,

You know you love me xoxo

50 Greatest Wrestlers

Hello there guys and gals,
Apparently at this time, WWE employees have been given the chance to vote in a '50 Greatest Wrestlers of all time' poll and the ones most popular "apparently" will be featured on a new DVD that is in the works. The catch to this is is that Mr McMahon has the final say on who will be featured on the disc and so many suspect that we may not be seeing the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair on the disc purely because they have gone to the WWE's rival wrestling promotion TNA.
I would like to see, personally, STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN on there and I think if Vince has the last say then he will definatley make the cut. It will be interesting though to see who does make the final cut if only to see who Vince likes and who he doesn't of the past legends. Again, we shall see on that one.

Anyway, until next time,
Peace out xoxo

Hulk Hogan

Well, hello there my fellow readers,
I've got some Hulk Hogan news for you today. Aren't you all lucky????

It has been announced that on the LIVE March 8th Edition of Impact, Ric Flair (liar!!!!!!) and Hulk Hogan will once again do battle inside the ring. This will mark their wrestling debuts with TNA. It will be a tag match with Hulk Hogan/Abyss vs. AJ Styles/Ric Flair. Be an interesting match I would imagine (NOT!!!! )

Until next time, you know you love me xoxo
