Hall Of Fame Class of 2013

Hi there guys and gals,

Sorry I haven’t updated this much lately. There have been some major personal issues that I have been dealing with for the past couple of weeks and so that is why I haven’t been on here as much.

But, I have to say, during the last couple of weeks there have been some major things happening. One of which is announcements of who will be in the WWE Hall of Fame for 2013.

In my previous blog post ‘Hall Of Fame 2013’ I talked about some rumoured names that had been floating around and some names that I personally believe that should be included. And what happens but 2 rumoured names have been announced and one of the ones that I picked out has also been announced! Yay!

The names that have been formally announced are….

  • ‘Hardcore Legend’ Mick Foley
  • Trish Stratus
  • Bruno Sammartino

Now, Mick Foley was a rumoured name and I think that he deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame. He has earned  his spot there with his death defying stunts and antics.
Trish Stratus was one of the names that I had picked that I would like to see in the HOF purely and simply because she was one of the greatest women wrestlers of all time and helped pave the way for the ladies that came after her like Mickie James and Beth Phoenix.
Bruno is simply a surprise because he has declined the HOF for quite some time.
There was an ESPN article around that Bruno had done and this is what he had to say….
“In talking to Paul Levesque, I made it clear, I’ve had issues with WWE and wrestling in general, because there were other organizations. I didn’t like the direction they had taken. It was bothersome to me. I’m an old-school guy. I spent 25 years in this business. But after talking to Paul, and him explaining to me the changes they’ve made in their program, and how they’ve hired a doctor like Dr. Maroon, who is a world-renowned neurosurgeon, who also operated on me, and now that he has been put in charge of the company’s wellness program and their drug testing, that impressed me. I know what kind of a man he is, and he is a giant in that field, so I take my hat off to WWE because they took such huge steps to make things better for the wrestlers themselves and making sure they are healthy to perform. That was very, very important. But as Paul explained to me, WWE made a lot of other changes. There’s no more profanity, there’s no vulgarity in the current product, and that stuff had bothered me as well. When Paul first spoke to me and told me all the changes, I started watching it again, and I was very convinced that they are doing amazing things. I see the wrestlers and all the changes they made. There’s no profanity, there’s no vulgarity, and it’s a family-friendly program. That’s what it used to be, and that’s a huge role in the whole factor.” (ref: Backstage Update on Bruno Sammartinos HOF Induction)

I think that this is a great step for the company and I think this really shows just how good Triple H is doing behind the scenes with the company. This is a huge thing and as Triple H said in the article, “From a legitimacy standpoint, it’s important for us to get Bruno in…He’s one of the biggest names there has ever been in the business. So for us to not have him in there, for the legitimacy of the whole thing, it was a major issue. For me, the more important thing was that nobody deserves to be recognized for being a big star and paving the way for the stars of today more than Bruno. Everything that we have today in the business, Bruno was a cornerstone of that foundation. He truly is a living legend.” (ref: Backstage Update on Bruno Sammartinos HOF Induction)

Well done to Triple H and well done to the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2013!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you have lots of fun and take care.

Triple H Backstage News

Hi there everyone,

There is some news going round that since Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, is gaining more and more power backstage in the WWE, that there is going to be more going into the tag-team division in WWE, which is severely lacking at the moment.
Triple H is said to be very high on tag team wrestling and feels that a solid tag team division is more important then the women's division. The feeling is that when John Laurinaitus was in charge of Talent Relations, a lot of the Diva’s came from modeling agencies and magazines, whereas Triple H wants to focus on having a few solid workers in the women's division and is looking to move away from this type of business as much as possible.

Honestly, I’m glad that Triple H is looking at doing some good for the tag division, which in WWE is severely lacking. I think a lot of companies could do with actually getting their tag divisions up to scratch and I do hope that this happens.

As for the women's division, I think getting women who can actually wrestle, like Beth Phoenix and Natalya, is a great way to get that division to the forefront as well. WWE’s women's division was so much better in the days of Trish Stratus, Lita and Jazz. Back when women's wrestling actually mattered.

Keep up the great work Hunter….. :D

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Have fun and take care.

Lil xoxo

Wrestlemania Predictions

Hi there everyone,

Today is the day! WRESTLEMANIA 28!!!!!! I can’t wait! Super stoked! From what I’ve read for the last month or so it’s turning out to be huge as! Should be interesting though as well which is good.

Anyway, here are the matches and who I think will win……and you know the drill, my picks are in the bold writing! Open-mouthed smile

  • Pre Show WWE Tag Team Championship Match
    Primo/Epico
© vs. Justin Gabriel/Tyson Kidd vs. The Uso’s
  • Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix ©/Eve
  • Randy Orton vs. Kane
  • A Match to determine who takes control of both Raw and Smackdown
Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, David Otunga, The Miz, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler)
vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, Zack Ryder,Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, Great Khali and R-Truth)
  • Intercontinental Championship Match
    Cody Rhodes
    © vs. Big Show
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match
    Daniel Bryan © vs. Sheamus
  • WWE Championship Match
    CM Punk
    © vs. Chris Jericho
  • Hell In A Cell, Special Guest Referee: Shawn Michaels
    Undertaker
    vs. Triple H
  • The Rock vs. John Cena

Now, for the last match, I don’t see a decisive winner in all this. In fact, as I was figuring it out yesterday, interference or not, I see a double count out, double disqualification, or something like that happening. I just don’t see a clear winner. And I am rather hoping that the rumours going round are true. Should be interesting to see Winking smile

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Take care and I hope you all enjoy Wrestlemania!

Dream Wrestlemania matches

Hi there everyone,
Since many people are putting up their 'what they want to see' Wrestlemania matches, I thought that I would do the same. I know some of you may not agree with me on this but these are the matches that I would like to see happen and the results as well.......and as per normal, my picks are going to be in bold.....

My Dream Matches..
  • Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker- Streak on the line
It would be a great match this one. I think if Brock were to come back to WWE it would be a match like this and I believe that Brock could win. He has beaten the best (eg.Hulk Hogan) and so I believe he would be a legitimate threat to the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania.
  • CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho- Who really is the best in the world????
I think of this one as a grudge match. CM Punk, when he was 'leaving' the WWE last year, in his promo speech, said that he was the best and I think that this would not have escaped the first Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho. Chris is an egomaniac type of character and I believe that he would take note of this and come after Punk.
  • Primo/Epico/Rosa © vs. Jimmy/Jey Uso and Tamina- Tag Team Championship match
This match is one of those that I'm not sure of. There aren't many tag teams that I know of in WWE and this match would include both Tamina and Rosa. It's a simple match. Easy.
  • Triple H vs. John Laurinaitus- Grudge Match
Nothing really needs to be said for this match.
  • Beth Phoenix © vs. Natalya vs. Kharma- Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship
I believe this match would be great. All three have proven that they can wrestle. And anyone whose watched TNA knows that Kharma is a force to be reckoned with. I believe in breaking up the Divas of Domination or whoever they are. Just doesn't seem to be working for me.
  • Cody Rhodes © vs. Jack Swagger © - Whose the better champion...
I can't think of any other opponents for these two. I think it might be an idea as well to maybe blend these two titles together and make an undisputed championship. Just too many titles.

  •  Daniel Bryan © vs. Big Show vs. Sheamus- World Heavyweight Championship
I would like to see Big Show get another shot at the title but I would also like to see Sheamus grab the gold from the 'New Miz' Daniel Bryan. I don't like Daniel Bryan anymore (more so the character that he has become) and really don't like him as the champion. I think it's time for a new champ. And I think Sheamus is the one to do it.
  • Dolph Ziggler © vs. Kofi Kingston- WWE Championship
I would honestly like to see Dolph Ziggler holding the WWE Championship. I think he has paid his dues and battled endlessly in a company with mediocre talent atm to the point where he deserves the title. And I gotta put Kofi in somewhere to have a chance at something. These two have phenomenal matches and I would like to see them in a much more prominent position in the company.
P.S. I hope that Dolph gets rid of Vickie Guerrero. He doesn't need her anymore!
  • Battle Royal feat. the rest of the WWE Roster- Dark Match
Goes without saying as they have one every year......
Anyway, that's my ideal Wrestlemania matches for this year. We shall see how this all pans out. Should be interesting to say the least.
Have fun everyone.
Lil xoxo

Who was supposed to win????

Hi there everyone,
Some interesting, but very surprising news coming out of this morning is that there were a few superstars pencilled in to win before Sheamus.
Chris Jericho was one and a very obvious one at that. Many people around the blogosphere, that I had read, had said that Chris Jericho would win the Royal Rumble.
Triple H, who has more backstage influence these days, put forward that Sheamus should be the winner of the Royal Rumble.
“The closest to me is probably Sheamus, because we always train together on the road. But I try to watch all the young guys' matches and give them advice, if they want to hear it. If they take advice to heart and really want to improve, then I'm wanting to help. As for seeing some of myself in someone? That's tough. Sheamus just the other day showed up at a show he didn't have to be at. He does whatever he's asked to do without complaining, he goes to every show and is always wanting to work: he does it all, goes above and beyond. That's what I was like.”
(Taken from http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/1959/triple-h-behind-sheamus-winning-the-royal-rumble )
A couple of other names had also been put forward as potential Rumble winners. John Cena was one of them and then the storyline, given the fact that he already has a match at Wrestlemania, would be that of give up facing the Rock or give up the championship opportunity. Either way it would’ve been a lose/lose situation for Cena.
And the final name mentioned was Randy Orton. Orton was named because of the way that he put Mark Henry over when he became World Champion and also because the Royal Rumble was in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
Honestly, I am glad that neither Cena or Orton won. I am sick to death of Cena atm and would like to see a fresh face with the championship (which is it atm) and Orton I don’t think had enough build up for the Rumble and plus he was also taken out with injury like a month or two ago. I am super glad that Sheamus won and I think that he is one of the young ones to watch because he has that work ethic that will see him pushed. He reminds me alot of Cena outside the ring, from what I have read anyway. Maybe some of the others could learn from this and do some stuff to get themselves more noticed. Would be nice to see some more younger ones in the main events Smile
Anyway, that is all for now.
Have fun and take care.
Lil Winking smile

Surprise entrants…..

Hi there again everyone,

There has been some specualation over who may be the surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble this year. Every year the Royal Rumble has “surprise” entrants (eg. Diesel and Booker T in 2011) and this year, there is some speculation as to whom may appear. Some of the suggestions do seem a little far fetched but some others may not.
Here’s a list that I compiled from reading a few blogs around the place….

Triple H: It was announced that he is coming back to RAW to “evaluate” John Laurinaitus’ job performance as the Interim GM, I just don’t see him coming into the Rumble. He doesn’t need it per-say….in my opinion anyway.

Booker T: This is just far-fetched. He may be a 5 time WCW champion and has never won the Royal Rumble, but I don’t see it happening. I don’t even see him entering. He did that last year…..

Batista: As much as I would love to see Batista, the animal, back in the WWE, this is just one of those things that I don’t see happening. He has spoken of his intentions to do MMA and I don’t see how coming back to WWE would help that. Mind you, a good pay-day could be a great boost for him……. Winking smile

Batista

Shawn Michaels: Just as unlikely as Booker T…..

Undertaker: I can see this one happening. They (the WWE) will need to bring him back soon to work on the build-up with Wrestlemania and the streak, so this could possibly, and is more then likely, going to happen.

Brock Lesnar: This is one that I didn’t think so until my co-worker and I were talking about this yesterday. While many say that he wouldn’t come back to WWE full-time, the pay-day for the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania would be great. And as was said on one of the websites that I was reading/watching, there is just too many coincidences for it not to happen. From him retiring from UFC (where he is still under contract) to him being included as an unlockable character in the WWE ‘12 game, why would these things happen…….coincidence?????? I’d like to think something big……

Brock Lesnar

As for me, I would like to see Brock back, even if it is for just a couple of humungous PPV’s. I liked Brock’s character and I think that if he does come back, it’d be great for the WWE. Mind you, he is still technically under contract with UFC which could be a slight hiccup but hey, stranger things have happened.

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Until next time,
You know you love me Winking smile
Lil xoxo

2/1/12…..

Hi there everyone,

Tomorrow, on RAW, will be the day we find out whose behind the cryptic video messages. I’m not entirely too sure who it will be and have been asking one of my friends and they thought of a couple of people but they are VERY UNLIKELY….
Here are some of the names that have been thrown around online…..

  • Stephanie and Shane McMahon
  • John Cena (heel version)
  • Kharma
  • Batista
  • Chris Jericho
  • Brodus Clay
  • Undertaker
  • Triple H

I’m leaning more towards Chris Jericho or Undertaker. Some of the other options seem a little bit left of field per say. I’d like to know what you guys think……

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,

Some WWE news for today :)

Hi there everyone,
How are you all? I am very well. I'm in a bit of a thinking mood atm but that's k. Nothing to worry yourselves about ;)

Some news from WWE this week.
On Monday Night RAW this week, Superstars, Divas, Officials, Announcers and other members voted unanimously for a no confidence against Triple H, the current COO of WWE. The reason was that they don't think that they have a safe working environment and I suspect as well it has to do with what happened to R-Truth and The Miz in that they were "fired" by Triple H after already being told by him to pay a $250,000 fine each.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure what the people in charge are thinking putting Triple H in charge. I agree with WWE.com, Triple H is a hypocrite. He did all that stuff in the Attitude era with DX and without that defied authority and now all of a sudden he is in charge, strange stuff :S

Another bit of news which has kind of made me laugh without meaning to is Darren Young has been suspended for 30 days due to his first violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. I don't think of Darren Young as a superstar as to me he doesn't have "it" and so to see him a). be a part of Nexus and b). come back on NXT: Redemption, to me, there is no point. I don't like him, I'll be honest.

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me

RAW this week

Hi there everyone,
How are you all? I am very well. Little tired but all good.
RAW this week was very good. I enjoyed it. I sooooo can't wait for Summerslam. It's going to be awesome!
Anyway, here are the results from RAW this week.....

  • Beth Phoenix won a No. 1 Contender’s Diva Battle Royal.
After the match, Kelly Kelly went to give the Glamazon a hug in good sportsman ship and Beth retaliated by brutally tossing her out of the ring and telling her that her days of beingn perky, cute, little bimbo are over! WOWZERS!
  • The Miz & R-Truth def. Rey Mysterio & John Morrison
  • WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty def. Santino Marella & Zack Ryder
  • Alberto Del Rio def. Evan Bourne
Also, Triple H made yet another monumental decision. Despite John Laurinaitis, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, saying that The Game should strip John Cena of the title, Triple H made the decision that, at Summerslam, CM Punk will face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship! This I can't wait to see.

Honestly, this John Cena/CM Punk angle, couldn't they have dragged it out just like they have with the Rock.Cena angle. Honestly, like how come they can do that? I just don't get it. However, I am still super stoked that this is going to happen. I was wondering how they were going to fix this situation. Now I know.

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me

Yesterdays RAW episode

Hi there everyone,
How are you all? I'm still reeling from MITB and then yesterdays RAW was just like WOW! I've never been more interested in WWE then I have now.
Anyway, here is what happened on RAW in points.....
  • Vince announced that there would be a championship tournament for 8 of RAWs best stars to determine the new WWE Champion
  • 8 Man Tournament
  • TRIPLE H RETURNS
  • Triple H returns and announces that he is taking over the everyday operations of the WWE and that Vince is relieved of his duties!
WOW! There's alot there to digest. However, the eight man tournament looks a little like this......
Now, originally Rey Mysterio and Miz were going to have the final match last night but Vince came out and did his whole speech on how no one man is bigger then the WWE and that he had to do something then and there. He was going to fire John Cena but this was when the 'CEREBRAL ASSASIN' came out and did his whole announcement.
This is a very interesting storyline and there has been much speculation as to whether Vince being relieved was actually true. From what I have read on the 'dirt sheets', he's not stepping down in real life. He is in fact 'grooming' Triple H to take over from him and he will have help with Stephanie by his side.
Should make for a very interesting time ;)
Anyway, that is all for now. Just thought I'd do a quick blog before I go back to work. LOL
Until next time,
You know you love me
XOXO
