Hall Of Fame Inductees 2013

Hi there everyone,

Before we get to Wrestlemania we will have the 2013 Hall Of Fame ceremony. This years class was really great before one name was added and then it went downhill!
Here are the names of the WWE Hall of Fame Class for 2013 and who will be inducting them on the night…..

  • Bruno Sammartino: inducted by Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • Mick Foley: inducted by Terry Funk
  • Trish Stratus: inducted by Stephanie McMahon
  • Bob Backlund: inducted by Maria Menounos
  • Booker T: not applicable at this stage.
  • Donald Trump: inducted by Vince McMahon

REALLY! DONALD TRUMP! WHAT HAS HE DONE FOR THE WRESTLING BUSINESS!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy that Trish, Mick and Book man are being inducted. They all deserve it although with Trish being inducted by Stephanie McMahon, I thought that that was a bit odd. I would’ve thought her long time partner in crime Lita would induct, or Finlay who trained her. Not Stephanie. I don’t remember them every crossing paths. I just find it a bit odd. But that’s just me.

Anyway, have fun and take care Smile

Surprise entrants…..

Hi there again everyone,

There has been some specualation over who may be the surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble this year. Every year the Royal Rumble has “surprise” entrants (eg. Diesel and Booker T in 2011) and this year, there is some speculation as to whom may appear. Some of the suggestions do seem a little far fetched but some others may not.
Here’s a list that I compiled from reading a few blogs around the place….

Triple H: It was announced that he is coming back to RAW to “evaluate” John Laurinaitus’ job performance as the Interim GM, I just don’t see him coming into the Rumble. He doesn’t need it per-say….in my opinion anyway.

Booker T: This is just far-fetched. He may be a 5 time WCW champion and has never won the Royal Rumble, but I don’t see it happening. I don’t even see him entering. He did that last year…..

Batista: As much as I would love to see Batista, the animal, back in the WWE, this is just one of those things that I don’t see happening. He has spoken of his intentions to do MMA and I don’t see how coming back to WWE would help that. Mind you, a good pay-day could be a great boost for him……. Winking smile

Batista

Shawn Michaels: Just as unlikely as Booker T…..

Undertaker: I can see this one happening. They (the WWE) will need to bring him back soon to work on the build-up with Wrestlemania and the streak, so this could possibly, and is more then likely, going to happen.

Brock Lesnar: This is one that I didn’t think so until my co-worker and I were talking about this yesterday. While many say that he wouldn’t come back to WWE full-time, the pay-day for the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania would be great. And as was said on one of the websites that I was reading/watching, there is just too many coincidences for it not to happen. From him retiring from UFC (where he is still under contract) to him being included as an unlockable character in the WWE ‘12 game, why would these things happen…….coincidence?????? I’d like to think something big……

Brock Lesnar

As for me, I would like to see Brock back, even if it is for just a couple of humungous PPV’s. I liked Brock’s character and I think that if he does come back, it’d be great for the WWE. Mind you, he is still technically under contract with UFC which could be a slight hiccup but hey, stranger things have happened.

Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Until next time,
You know you love me Winking smile

TNA news and some interesting points

Hello there again everyone,
Some TNA news for you and some points of interest related to some rumour going round....
Let's start with the news....

Scott Hall was recently arrested and released this week from a bar.... shock horror....NOT! He was yelling and cursing at the bartender and when the police arrived, he didn't co-operate. It took 2 sets of handcuffs to restrain him. He was released by the police with a trespass warning never to return to the bar in question again.
Apparently there is term people use for people who are drunk and acting horribly 'disorderly intoxification'!!!!!! This honestly doesn't surprise me, considering it's Scott Hall. He's supposed to be role model (TAG TEAM CHAMPION!) and he goes and does this! I understand he likes his drinks but honestly, someone should stop him when it looks like he's had enough.....Just saying......

Also this week, at a house show in Lake Charles, TNA saw the return of the one and only Booker T.
I for one am not happy with this at all! When he left he was acting all horrible and I understand that no one wants to be stuck in the economy the way it is and not have a job but still. REMEMBER WHAT HE DID BEFORE HE LEFT LAST TIME TNA!!!!!!!

Now, onto my point of interest.....

In one of my posts TNA News, I spoke about the fact that TNA were talking of releasing some of their 70+ talent that they have on their current roster. This is not just talks, this is official. Apparently, talent have been released but we shall not know until they release the names later on. The number of release is speculated to be around 15-20 talent but apparently due to the lack of performers, the Knockout division is basically safe. There was one sooooo close to being released but was allowed to stay due to Angelina Love and Daffney being out with injury and Tara losing to Madison Rayne at Sacrifice and therefore leaving TNA for good.
Now, to my point. I was looking at wikipedia and I was looking at the current list of TNA talent. There are some who have been inactive for 30 + days and I have a feeling that these may be some of the talent leaving us.
Here is my list......

--Dr Stevie
--Kiyoshi
--Magnus
--Raven
--Rhino
--Suicide

Thats, again, talent who have been inactive for 30+ days but I do feel as though they may be at risk. I was also looking at Magnus' profile page on Wikipedia and it said that he had been released but then I checked it today and it said something different so I think that we shall see what comes of this.
I don't like the sound of it but I guess for the business it's got to happen :(

Anyway, that is all for now.
Until next time, goodbye and farewell xoxo

Wrestling Gossip from TNA and WWE

There is good gossip all round this week. I'm happy because there are a couple of stories that make me have that 'warm, fuzzy feeling inside.' :D So here we go.

Tyson Tomko (one of my fav's) has apparently been backstage at some TNA Tapings this week. Nothing has been officially confirmed or denied by TNA or Tomko but the source is trying to get something from either parties. Personally, I would like to see Tomko back wrestling. He was with WWE for like a month or 2 earlier this year and then he went again. I'm very upset still when I remember that :( But I'm glad to hear that TNA is where is trying to head to so we shall see what comes out of this.

Booker T is apparently finished with TNA (or is soon to be anyway). Talk at the last PPV Bound for Glory was that Booker's contract will not be renewed due to his behaviour and what has been said by him. Basically TNA President Dixie Carter was willing to renew his contract but after he refused to job to Matt Morgan and boasted about the fact that WWE would have him back whenever he wanted, that was the last straw. Word is he is not very well liked by many in TNA
and they were happy to see him go.

"He's been such an a**hole that most people were just happy to see him go."
(TNA Source)

The one question that should be asked is if Booker T leaves TNA, will Sharmell follow in his footsteps?????
In my opinion, well, I really don't like Booker T. I think that Sharmell will follow Booker T but personally, I don't see why anyone likes him. I've never been a fan of him and I don't think I ever will be.

A story I reported on earlier was Marty Wright, otherwise more popularly known as The Boogeyman, had disappeared and no one was able to get in touch with him. Well, news today is that HE HAS BEEN LOCATED! He has been in Argentina trying to find "Appalachian Plain". Now that is a great ending to a story that I thought was going to have a very bad ending. Oops

A surprising story coming out in the last couple of weeks is the resignation of Shane McMahon, Vince's son, from WWE. The reason for it is apparently he is going to help his mother become a senator.
This is coming as a suprise to many, including good ol' JR Jim Ross.

"This comes as a major surprise to many including me. Shane is a proud, 4th generation wrestling person who has worked with WWE essentially his entire live starting on the ring crew. Shane has always been one of the shining stars within the WWE organization and it will be interesting to see what his next business endeavors entail."
(Jim Ross, JR's BBQ Website)

Well, thats all I have for you for now. Until next time, take care and good luck. xoxo
