Bound For Glory Series announced

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all well. I have the weekend off which is brilliant and it means more time to spend on here WOO WOO WOO!

Anyway, today on Impact (TNA) it was announced that the Bound For Glory Series would be returning. Now, as we all know, Mr Bobby Roode won the BFG Series last time and faced Kurt Angle and lost. After which yours truly (me Open-mouthed smile) wrote a rather long post called Bound For Glory-Robert Roode-Hulk Hogan-TNA issues about how I thought the whole thing with Bobby Roode-James Storm-Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff was a load of BS.

Getting back to the point at hand…..On Impact today, the 12 participants for the BFG Series were announced and how to earn points was also mentioned. The participants this year are….

AJ Styles*
Bully Ray*
Christopher Daniels
James Storm*-20 Points already
Jeff Hardy
Kurt Angle
Magnus
’The Pope’ D’Angelo Dinero*
Rob Van Dam*
Robbie E
Samoa Joe*
Mr Anderson

*-Stars who participated in last years Bound for Glory Series

Also on Impact, there was a Battle Royale to a). announce the competitors and b). to start the Series off. James Storm won the Battle Royal and so was awarded 20 points.

Now, the ways to earn points are…

-Submission Victory – 10 points
-Pinfall Victory – 7 points
-Countout Victory – 5 points
-Disqualification Victory – 3 points
-Draw (Time Limit/Double Countout/Double Disqualification) – Two points
-Disqualification Lose – you LOSE 10 points

The Type of Matches
Each wrestler will battle each other ONCE in the series!  These matches will take place over IMPACT WRESTLING on Spike TV and on TNA’s live event tours across the country, with the point structure outlined above.

Standings and How to Win!
The standings will be updated on ImpactWrestling.com. The standings will be “locked” on the September 6 edition of IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV.  The top point leaders advance to No Surrender PPV (9/9) for a one-night playoff to see who gets the Bound For Glory World Title Match!

So there you have it. Should be an interesting couple of months to see who steps up and who bails……keep you posted Winking smile

Anyway, that is all for now.
Tata for now.

Who was supposed to win????

Hi there everyone,
Some interesting, but very surprising news coming out of this morning is that there were a few superstars pencilled in to win before Sheamus.
Chris Jericho was one and a very obvious one at that. Many people around the blogosphere, that I had read, had said that Chris Jericho would win the Royal Rumble.
Triple H, who has more backstage influence these days, put forward that Sheamus should be the winner of the Royal Rumble.
“The closest to me is probably Sheamus, because we always train together on the road. But I try to watch all the young guys' matches and give them advice, if they want to hear it. If they take advice to heart and really want to improve, then I'm wanting to help. As for seeing some of myself in someone? That's tough. Sheamus just the other day showed up at a show he didn't have to be at. He does whatever he's asked to do without complaining, he goes to every show and is always wanting to work: he does it all, goes above and beyond. That's what I was like.”
(Taken from http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/1959/triple-h-behind-sheamus-winning-the-royal-rumble )
A couple of other names had also been put forward as potential Rumble winners. John Cena was one of them and then the storyline, given the fact that he already has a match at Wrestlemania, would be that of give up facing the Rock or give up the championship opportunity. Either way it would’ve been a lose/lose situation for Cena.
And the final name mentioned was Randy Orton. Orton was named because of the way that he put Mark Henry over when he became World Champion and also because the Royal Rumble was in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.
Honestly, I am glad that neither Cena or Orton won. I am sick to death of Cena atm and would like to see a fresh face with the championship (which is it atm) and Orton I don’t think had enough build up for the Rumble and plus he was also taken out with injury like a month or two ago. I am super glad that Sheamus won and I think that he is one of the young ones to watch because he has that work ethic that will see him pushed. He reminds me alot of Cena outside the ring, from what I have read anyway. Maybe some of the others could learn from this and do some stuff to get themselves more noticed. Would be nice to see some more younger ones in the main events Smile
Anyway, that is all for now.
Have fun and take care.

Daniel Bryan's win at TLC......

Hi there everyone,
Hope you are all well..... I'm slowly getting there...

According to *dirt sheet's* on the internet, Daniel Bryan's win at TLC to become the new World Heavyweight champion was not supposed to happen. Had it not been for Mark Henry being injured, they would've left D.Bryan alone to cash in his Money In The Bank contract at Elimination Chamber.
They, the officials, felt that if Big Show won the belt (which technically he did) it wouldn't be much of a big deal ( WTH!!!!!) so they had Bryan cash it in instead.

This just seems a bit silly to me. Why not leave Show as champ? He's held the belt before and he couldn't of been as bad as Mark Henry was. I hated Henry as the champ!!!!!!!!! But D.Bry, I do really hope that he holds the belt for a while. I would like to see how this all pans out in the end......

Anyway, that is all from me for now.
Until next time,
You know you love me,
Lil xoxo

Rob Terry report I don't know how many....

Hey there everyone,
Not really much to report on the last couple of days and so I have just decided that until midnight tonight I will report on Rob Terry from TNA winning the Global Championship.

These are the pics from TNAwrestling.com. I just kind of montaged them a little bit so that they could all be together.

This is the article which can be found on the TNAwrestling homepage.

Man, have I said enough praises for Rob Terry? Not quite. When I found out that he had become champion I was almost in tears. Thats how much it meant to me. It made me so happy. I say congratulations to Rob and I hope that he has a long tenure with the Global Championship! Well done.

Until my next "Praise for Rob Terry" blog, you know you love me xoxo
