Slammiversary Results

Howdy there everyone,

Hope your all as well as I am. I am still so happy about yesterday’s PPV ‘Slammiversary’ and apparently so are many other people, with some calling it the best PPV of the year Smile That’s always a good thing….

Anyway, here are the results from the PPV and who I picked…..

  • Ultimate X Match for the X Division Championship
Chris Sabin def. Kenny King © and Suicide
Hulk Hogan came out and gave Sabin a ‘pep talk’ per say and told him that like last year, the X Division Champion will have a chance at the World Championship at Destination X!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Samoa Joe, Magnus and Jeff Hardy def. Garett Bischoff, Wes Brisco and Mr Anderson
  • Bound For Glory Series Gutcheck Qualifier Match
    Jay Bradley def. Sam Shaw
  • Television Title Match
Devon © def. Joseph Parks after it was revealed that Joseph was unable to compete (Aces and 8’s handiwork of course)
  • Abyss def. Devon for the Television Title after the match was made by Mr Hogan (Good Choice)
  • Dixie announced the next wrestler going into the TNA Hall Of Fame…..
    KURT ANGLE!!!!!!!!
  • Tag Team Championship Match (Elimination Style Match)
Gunner and James Storm def. Chavo Guerrero/Hernandez ©, Austin Aries/Bobby Roode and Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels/;Kazarian)
  • Last Knockout Standing Match
    Taryn Terrell def. Gail Kim
  • Kurt Angle def. AJ Styles
  • No Holds Barred Match for the TNA World Title Match-If Sting loses, he doesn’t ever get another shot at the title
    Bully Ray © def. Sting
Bully retained after Aces and 8’s came out and gave the assist and a hammer to Bully…….

All in all……A FANTASTIC PPV! Honestly, as soon as I heard about Sabin winning the X-Division title I knew it would be a great PPV. I was doing crazy dance and then when I heard that Hulk was giving Sabin a chance at the World Title I was like “OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!” I was uber excited and now I can’t wait till Destination X!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOO!
As for Mr. Kurt Angle….I am so happy that he was chosen to go in the HOF. He does truly deserve it for what he does for the wrestling business and he has worked so hard to put TNA on the map and it’s nice to see him recognized for all his hard efforts so for that… ‘ALL HAIL KURT ANGLE!’

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care and I will talk later Smile

Slammiversary 11 Matches So Far…..

Howdy there people,

Hope you are all as well as I am (I have had quite a few coffee’s so that might explain my oh so little hypo mood) and I thought that I would update you all with the matches that have been announced for TNA’s next PPV ‘Slammiversary’. Honestly, the matches look epically awesome so I can’t wait.

Anyway, here are the matches (no picks yet as is too early to tell)….

  • No Holds Barred Match for the TNA World Title
    Bully Ray © vs. Sting
-If Sting loses, this will be his last title shot……
  • Tag Team Championship Match
Chavo Guerrero/Hernandez © vs. Bobby Roode/Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels/Kazarian vs. James Storm/Gunner
  • Ultimate X Match for the X Division Championship
Kenny King © vs. Chris Sabin vs. Suicide
  • AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle
  • Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell
  • And also we shall be told who the next person to enter the TNA HALL OF FAME will be…..

Honestly, this is looking so good right now. Bully Ray is the best heel in the business at the moment. Suicide and Chris Sabin have returned to put the X-Division back on the map. and AJ Styles is all about AJ Styles! (Yeah, I’m a tad bit excited…..)
There are a couple of things that have me somewhat thinking…
James Storm and GUNNER! Seriously! I thought that Gunner was one of the bad guys. I hope that there are going to be some sort of explanation for this strange pairing because this is just a tad bit strange…..mind you, the names people are coming up with for this tag team are quite entertaining (I’d highly recommend checking out TNA’s Facebook page for more info…)

And as far as the Hall Of Fame goes, I’m hoping it will either be AJ Styles or Kurt Angle. Both of whom deserve it. But as I’m typing, there is one other whose name has popped into my head and that is the founder of TNA, Jeff Jarrett. Without him, there would be no TNA. So I’m now hoping it’s between the three. But who knows……

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care everyone and I will talk to you all soon.

def. Devon, DOC, Mr Anderson, Knox and Garett Bischoff

Turning Point results 2012

Howdy there everyone,

I know, I know….I haven’t been updating this blog as much as I should and I am very annoyed at myself for that. Grrrrr…..

Anyway, for Turning Point this year I did manage to get my picks up for who I think would win at the TUP Wrestling forum site (which you can find here) but I thought I would post the results here for the PPV so here we go…..

  • No Disqualification Match for the TV Title
    Samoa Joe © def. Magnus
  • ODB and Eric Young def. Tara and Jesse
  • X-Division Title Match
Rob Van Dam © def. Joey Ryan
  • DOC (Luke Gallows) def. Joseph Park
  • Tag Team Title Match
Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez © def. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian
  • #1 Contender Match with the stipulation that whoever gets pinned doesn’t get a TNA World Title Match till Bound for Glory 2013
James Storm def. AJ Styles (pinned) and Bobby Roode
  • Kurt Angle def. Devon
  • Ladder Match for the TNA World Title
Jeff Hardy © def. Austin Aries

I still can’t believe that AJ Styles doesn’t get his RIGHTFULLY DESERVED TITLE SHOT until Bound for Glory next year! SERIOUSLY! After the storylines with Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, Claire and Dixie, you would think that he would be getting something out of it. NOPE! So annoyed at that.

Other then that, nothing really all that shocking. Same old, same old really.

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care.

Bound For Glory 2012

Hi there everyone,

I know, I know, I haven’t been updating this nearly as much as I should but I have had quite a few other things on my mind. I shall get round to updating it soon. And trying to do it more frequently but we shall see how that goes :)

Anyway, Bound For Glory is tomorrow and honestly, I can’t wait. With Jeff Hardy as your main event, what else could you ask for…. :D

So, as usual, I am going to put my picks up and you can agree/disagree with me all you like then…. (and as usual, my picks will be in the bold text)

  • TNA Heavyweight Championship Match
Austin Aries © vs. Jeff Hardy
  • Street Fight with Special Enforcer King Mo
    James Storm
    vs. Bobby Roode
  • Full Access or Go Home
Bully Ray & Sting vs. 2 members of Aces and 8’s
  • World Tag Team Championship, Triple Threat Match
Christopher Daniels & Kazarian © vs. AJ Styles & Kurt Angle vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez
  • Knockouts Championship Match
    Tessmacher © vs. Tara
  • Television Championship Match
    Samoa Joe
    © vs. Magnus
  • X-Division Championship Match
Zema Ion © vs. Rob Van Dam
  • TNA Contract Match
    Joey Ryan
    vs. Al Snow

So there are my picks for tomorrow’s PPV. I would like to see the Knockouts Tag Team Championships change hands but I don’t think that’s going to happen as there is no real tag team in that division. We shall see though.

Well, that is all from me for now. Have fun and take care.

Hulk Hogan's Radio Interview

Hi there everyone,
Hope you are all as well as I am. I'm enjoying my two days off so it's all fantastically good. :)
Anyway, time for some gossip....
Hulk Hogan did a radio interview on Sirius Radio's Busted Open in which he talked about Robert Roode, James Storm, and on Jeff Hardy.
On Robert Roode he said....

".....he's not ready. He's not the next guy. Ya' know, they might think he is. Dixie Carter might think he is. The whole world might think he is. He's not the next guy."
"This is much more than being a wrestler, this is crossing barriers, medias, ya' know media barriers, and, and entertainment barriers of all kind. Getting your character down verbally has 90% to do with getting over."

Honestly! Hulk Hogan! Why would he say stuff like this? When I first read this I was like "He's basically putting down a young upstart wrestler!" I don't understand what he has against B. Roode but I think Hulk Hogan needs to look away from the past wrestlers and look towards the wrestlers of the future. Robert Roode is a great wrestler. He's fantastic on the mic and has been involved in some of the best storylines that TNA has ever had. I like Robert Roode so I may be a bit biased but come on! I think he's the next guy and I think that he will prove that at Bound For Glory.
On the other hand, Hulk has nothing but nice words for James Storm, Roode's tag team partner.

"I'd go with James Storm all day long. Mainstream brotha'!......if you ask me to choose who to run with', and you gave me those two choices? That's my opinion."
I like both Storm and Roode personally although as a main eventer I think Roode does have what it takes. I don't fully understand what Hogan is going on about, but then again, he isn't one that I fully trust either.

In terms of Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan has basically said that if he can keep himself clean and get back to being the charasmatic enigma that we all know and love, he will be the guy!

".....I'd say Jeff Hardy's the next guy if he keeps his act together. Well, I think he's got a lot of shine to him, I mean he just doesn't have 5 star matches. He shines outside the ring. He walks through the mall, and people know who he is. He's got a look, he's got an air about him. He's got the 'IT' factor.........Jeff Hardy has the potential to really be the guy."

This is what I like to hear. Positive stuff being said by people in higher powers about wrestlers. Not burying them. I think Jeff deserves his chance. He's cleaned up and he's been doing everything possible to propel himself back into the front line. Let's hope that at Bound For Glory, he gets a match and it shows to the audience and the boys in the locker-room at TNA that the "HARDY PARTY BEGINS!!!!!"

Honestly, I think Hulk Hogan really needs to be careful with what he says and who he says it about. I can't imagine that Roode is going to take too kindly to being basically buried by someone who is a so called "legend". I think the Hulkster needs a reality check and fast.
Anyway, that's my two cents worth for today.
Until next time,
You know you love me xoxo
