AJ Styles/TNA Update…..

This was posted on AJ's Facebook and Webpage and I happened to find it on one of the wrestling gossip sites that I like........... so if I seem grumpy about wrestling this is why!

MY STATEMENT ON TNA CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS 12/16/13

Today for the first time in 11 years, AJ Styles awakes to find himself without a professional wrestling contract. I can't help but think how did I get here, what must I have done wrong, did I not deliver in the ring, etc. All of those are pertinent questions that any man or woman who finds himself or herself unemployed would ask. I have always prided myself in being the wrestler that stays away from the things in this business that could easily destroy myself, my family, my marriage, and even my career. A wrestler who goes above and beyond to give the fans what they paid to see. I move forward not bitter, but better for the blessings and memories that I have been a part of since TNA's inception. When this contract renegotiation journey started several months ago, my wife and I began praying for God to close doors that needed to be closed and to open the doors that He wanted us to walk through. We asked him to prepare us for this journey and to help us to have the faith to be obedient to what He would have us to do. I am assured by the name Immanuel in Matthews 1:23 that I will never be alone. Hebrews 13.5, says He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a lot in this world that I am unsure of, especially in this moment, but there is one thing that I am certain. Contracts may expire, but the promise of Immanuel will never expire. As my family and I move forward with my wrestling career, we will turn to Jabez's prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10. Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil. My family and I are both grateful for the platform that TNA has allowed me to experience. TNA has been a blessing to our family for many years. We have made many friendships and many more memories. While you may not be seeing AJ Styles in TNA, you can be sure that he will be traveling the world and delivering many more Phenomenal matches. Visit AJStyles.org for a complete list of bookings. Sincerely, AJ Styles

Eve leaving???

Hi there everyone,

Some quite shocking news coming out of today is that apparently, Eve Torres, the current Diva’s Champion is on her way out of the WWE. The rumour is that she is going to lose the title tonight and then be gone.

Honestly, that’s quite sad. Eve actually knows how to wrestle and it’ll be quite a time for the diva’s because they seem to be losing members left right and centre (Nikki and Brie Bella, Kharma and Beth Phoenix all left last year!). I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Anyway, take care and have fun.

Lil xoxo

Chris Sabin news

G’day there everyone,

As you may have heard this week or seen from the Impact website, Alex Shelley is no longer contracted to TNA. The questions then started about what would happen with Chris Sabin/Motorcity Machine Guns….well, now we know.
According to reports, Chris Sabin is set to follow Alex out the door when his contract expires in August. He has apparently been telling friends that he will leave but this could all change as there is time between now and then.

This is very sad if this comes to fruition. Imagine TNA with NO Motorcity Machine Guns! They were the staple of the Tag Team division in TNA and only in the last few years have they won Tag Team gold. This would hurt TNA badly in terms of their Tag division with Beer Money and Team 3D disbanded and Generation Me gone. What other tag teams are there? I know I’m going to be very sad as I am a big supporter of the Guns. This shouldn’t have and can’t happen! Not kewl at all!

Anyway, that is all for now.

Take care and have fun.
Lil xoxo

CM Punk....

Hi there again everyone,
Some news coming out of the Power To The People RAW today was the fact that CM Punk is intending on leaving the WWE. This is no surprise to me. There has been talk of him leaving for quite some time. He's apparently not been happy with his standing with WWE for a while. He's been upset that people like Alberto Del Rio and Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin have been pushed while he has been stuck in what I call a rut for some time. He's also apparently been burned out by being on the road for 5 years and still being one of the company's most reliable performers and he feels that he should be in more main events. There was speculation that the draft of Beth Phoenix, Punk's girlfriend who he has been in a serious relationship for close to a year (I think), was to make him happy and hopefully to get him to stick around longer.
At the time of the draft he hadn't signed a new contract and after his words today, I don't know what to think.
Today at RAW, Punk won a #1 Contender triple threat match against Rey Mysterio and Alberto for the right to challenge for the WWE Championship, currently being held by John Cena (who else.......).
Punk said that at the upcoming pay-per-view 'Money In The Bank' he will become champion and he will walk away from the WWE with the title because that day is the last day of his contract with WWE.

As I said, I don't know what to think of this situation. I don't mind Punk. He is a great performer and has been one of the WWE's best for a while. I don't personally think that he is a great champion (mind you, I don't think that of Cena either) but I......I honestly don't know. It could go either way. It'd be sad to see him go, but at the same time, he has gone in and beaten some of the best in the business. He has won numerous titles. If he went out without the title, he would be going out knowing that he has in fact been one of the best for a while.
This what he wrote on his Twitter account regarding his status....

"I knew I was gone at the beginning of the year. I just woke up one day and I knew. That's the way I work a lot of the time."

"I think it's creepy too, but it's really helpful. I knew I'd be history by July. Come say goodbye on July 17th."

"Come say goodbye on July 17th. I promise to go out with a bang. Trust me. XxX"

I really don't know what to think. Only time will tell......
Until next time,
You know you love me xoxo

Roxxi's blog.....

Hello there everyone,

Former TNA Knockout Roxxi wrote on her blog (click here for Roxxi's blog) about her termination from TNA and how she felt.....

She said that, like the fans, she was upset when she learned THAT DAY (Slammiversary)  that she would be in a match where she was putting her career on the line in a match against Madison Rayne which she ultimately lost.

"I did here that I was visibly upset but I would like to think I wasn't. Don't get me wrong, TNA has always been a big part of my life if it's supposed to be my last match or entire day with TNA I want to enjoy it."

She goes on to say that she is proud of what she accomplished within TNA and that she appreciates the work that TNA let her do in her capacity as a talent and that she can walk away with her head held high. She also thanks the fans for their support of her and also Dixie Carter.

Personally, I would be extremely annoyed if that was the case. I don't get Roxxi's character (myself as a fan of TNA) but I do think that she is a valuable asset to the company and instead of getting rid of her, why not keep her in a capacity of some sorts. She would be very useful I'd imagine. I do think it was unfair that she was told on the day as well. I think that that shows poor communication skills between TNA management and their performers. I'm just saying.....

Anyway, until next time,
Peace out xoxo

Wrestling Gossip

Well, I have some wrestling gossip for you today. I haven't done a blog on wrestling gossip for a little while and I just got the urge to write about some so here we go......

IN TNA:
  • Rudy Charles, a referee and was an assistant to the creative department of TNA has left. His contract expired and TNA didn't have anything left for him as a referee and so he was released.
  • There is a rumor that Hulk Hogan is in talks with TNA but the chances of TNA actually letting Hogan debut are very slim. The reason being is that Hogan is asking for a whole lot of money for his debut and TNA isn't willing to pay him. This may also be a ploy from Hogan to get back into the media spotlight as apparently there haven't been any talks between both TNA and Hogan for ages.
IN WWE:
  • John Morrison did an interview with Phillipine Daily Inquirer and had a few things to say about a few things.
He would like to feud with CM Punk and Chris Jericho.
Donald Trump buying RAW created a talking point in interviews (demonstrated by being asked about it!)
He gave an analogy about riding a bike with no hands to answer a question to doing risky, high flying moves.
  • There is word going around the internet circuit that the team at WWE was planning on turning one of their best heels, Edge, into a baby face before he injured his archilies tendon. Apparently there are too many heels on the Smackdown roster and there had been talks about turning him face for a long time. There is now rumors that when he returns next January he will turn face before Wrestlemania.
On a side note, I have found the pictures of Candice looking "a little heavier" in the match just before she was released. To see, click here

Anyway, that is all from me for now. Until next time...
See ya later alligator xoxo
