Taz quits TNA (Impact Wrestling)....

News coming out of today is that Taz has quit the company!
Apparently, the rumor is that it has to do with a pay dispute that is going on within the company. Taz wasn't happy with the way things were being handled and didn't come to a planned voice over session this past Thursday.
 He has removed any mention of TNA from his Twitter account. Although he has sent out several tweets regarding his departure from the company.
In regards to who will replace Taz, there is speculation that it could be none other then Al Snow (Seriously!) who was recently given a tryout as an announcer. I guess we shall have to wait and see what happens from here I suppose.
I think that that is a mediocre loss for TNA and it's not really looking good for the company since I believe that they have already lost Samoa Joe this year :( Just a waiting game I think to see how this all goes from here.....

AJ Lee Retirement

Hi there everyone,
The big story coming out of today is the retirement of WWE Diva AJ LEE!!!!!
WWE broke the story today via Twitter in a statement that said....

"BREAKING: AJ Lee (April Mendez) has decided to retire from in-ring competition with WWE. We wish AJ the very best."

There has been speculation for a while that AJ would take some time off as rumors were she was pregnant, wanting to get pregnant or was going through a divorce with her husband, Phil Brooks (CM Punk).
Maybe she just needed a break but one thing is for sure, whatever the circumstances for her leaving, she is leaving a great gap in the divas division that does need to be filled ASAP. And best of all, majority of the WWE Divas are actually good wrestlers who just need that little extra push, or you have the NXT Divas who are more then happy (I would think) to be called up to the main roster. Sasha Banks would be a good one to fill AJ's spot but I guess we shall have to wait and see.

Wrestlemania results

Hi there everyone,
Well, I have to say that todays Wrestlemania made me so ANGRY! That's right! ANGRY! I was literally so upset I was throwing stuff around and it didn't help that my partner told me that it was "....just entertainment." OMG! So annoyed. I'll tell you why in a minute.
Here are the results for the PPV....

Now, there were some interesting points in this Wrestlemania...

• ROCK MADE AN APPEARANCE!!!!! He and Ronda Rousey (UFC) basically took on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Looks like Triple H vs. The Rock next year for Wrestlemania.
• DX (Sixx Pakk, Road Dogg and BJ James) vs. The NWO came to a head during the Sting vs. Triple H match, with the real change coming from Shawn Michaels Sweet Chin Music'd Sting in the middle of the ring. And at the end of the match, Triple H offered a hand shake to Sting and he accepted it. WTH!!!!!!!!
• Here's the part that really has me livid.....SETH ROLLINS CASHED IN HIS MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE AND WON THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!! Brock and Roman had basically beaten each other to a pulp and that's when Seth came down to the ring and cashed in, pinning Roman (not Brock) and winning the championship :(

That was the part that really got me and I started throwing stuff. That's how angry I was! I still get angry but not to that point right now.......

So that's Wrestlemania done and dusted for another year. Tomorrow on RAW is going to be awesome (I think so anyway ) so let's see how it goes.

I don’t know about you all but I cannot wait for tomorrow. WRESTLEMANIA COME AT ME!!!!!!!!!!! I got my snacks all ready to go so I can be fully prepared! Yee Haaa!

Anyways, here are my predictions for tomorrow’s event (_{and as per normal my predictions are in bold…… )}

Now, there are a couple of matches where I am umming and arghing over so I might just mention these now.
First is the Intercontinental Championship match. I think it will come between three competitors….Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose or Dolph Ziggler and as much as I want Dolph to win, I think Daniel will take the title.
Also the Andre The Giant Battle Royal was a tough one so I’m going with one of the up and coming stars from NXT in Hideo Itami because I think it would be a great boost for not only Hideo but also for the NXT competitors.

I also am putting on the record now that I think Seth will cash in (if he does watch out work!) and I also think that the Rock may also make an appearance. He normally does in some capacity and there are reports that he will be in the area. Let’s hope not but hey. There are also reports of Heyman turning on Brock and again, if he does, watch out work because if Brock loses his title against Roman, there will be chaos all week! That would ruin Easter for me!

So there would be my predictions for tomorrows PPV so I hope that everything goes my way....

AJ Styles/TNA Update…..

This was posted on AJ's Facebook and Webpage and I happened to find it on one of the wrestling gossip sites that I like........... so if I seem grumpy about wrestling this is why!

MY STATEMENT ON TNA CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS 12/16/13

Today for the first time in 11 years, AJ Styles awakes to find himself without a professional wrestling contract. I can't help but think how did I get here, what must I have done wrong, did I not deliver in the ring, etc. All of those are pertinent questions that any man or woman who finds himself or herself unemployed would ask. I have always prided myself in being the wrestler that stays away from the things in this business that could easily destroy myself, my family, my marriage, and even my career. A wrestler who goes above and beyond to give the fans what they paid to see. I move forward not bitter, but better for the blessings and memories that I have been a part of since TNA's inception. When this contract renegotiation journey started several months ago, my wife and I began praying for God to close doors that needed to be closed and to open the doors that He wanted us to walk through. We asked him to prepare us for this journey and to help us to have the faith to be obedient to what He would have us to do. I am assured by the name Immanuel in Matthews 1:23 that I will never be alone. Hebrews 13.5, says He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a lot in this world that I am unsure of, especially in this moment, but there is one thing that I am certain. Contracts may expire, but the promise of Immanuel will never expire. As my family and I move forward with my wrestling career, we will turn to Jabez's prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10. Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil. My family and I are both grateful for the platform that TNA has allowed me to experience. TNA has been a blessing to our family for many years. We have made many friendships and many more memories.
