Apparently, WWE is not sitting very well with CM Punk. It is being said that Punk, after the promo that he cut this week, will not be returning to programming until Summerslam.
According to a website that I was reading, Punk has had a couple of blow ups at the creative team and a few weeks ago was even ready to put in his notice, but was talked out of it by WWE management.
The most recent blow up was over this post Wrestlemania script that he was given. He was not happy to be say what the creative team had written and didn’t want to come off as being a whiner.
Given that Punk has also got a knee injury as well, I could see how this could be frustrating. From what I have read, Punk’s not the only disgruntled employee of the WWE….cough*Rock*cough
I guess we shall just have to wait and see. I really don’t want Punk to leave the WWE. I think he is a fantastic performer and I think he has paid his dues to get to where he is and he deserves all the accolades that come his way. I also believe that he should have some time off to deal with his knee which has been, to my understanding, an issue for quite some time. Hopefully he takes this time to get his knee back in working order and he makes that triumphant return to where he belongs. Hopefully
